Felt like no one wanted to help us from the moment we drove up... we got nothing but dirty looks…read more We arrived 10am on a Saturday with hopes of find some rose bushes, magnolia trees , among many other plants .. debit card in hand and ready to spend as a treat to ourselves for such a long work week.. however this visit was very disappointing and made us feel as if they did not want to do business with us or that we were just bothering them. The woman who we asked prices had no clue on any pricing and when we asked about magnolia trees we saw she said those were not for sale they were ordered for a coworker so we asked her if we could order 20 of them she said she had no idea and would ask her mother ... her mother was too busy to help us so her brother came over and we told him we would like to find out how to order 20 trees or som bushes and he basically had the same cluelessness on pricing and told us he was unsure about pretty much everything we asked about today... needless to say we left today feeling like we were unwanted there and no one wanted to be bothered or help us with our landscaping needs. The one star is basically because they had cute dogs running around otherwise it would be 0 stars

The Georgia National Fair in Perry is the actual good one but kind of far from Atlanta. I have not been to the North Georgia State Fair. Have you ever been to a fair on in a grocery store parking lot such as Plaza Fiesta I'm Buford highway? This is similar except slightly larger. There's a lot of carnival rides and overpriced food. My problem with this fair was that none of the ticket people knew anything about the chainsaw juggling act and couldn't point me in the right direction. Nobody knew anything about the wrestling either. I eventually found the wrestling but it was hidden behind some ferris wheel. The only thing that's worth watching is the circus performance. It's definitely not Cirque du Soleil quality but it's good for the kids. Would I come here again? No. I don't think it's worth the hour drive for me.

And even with the advertised shows, we could not find anyone to tell us where a particular show was. They sort of pointed us in a random direction. And the shopping area was sort of sad tbh. I have seen local festivals selling a lot more variety of things.

I finally got a chance to stop by and order 2 potatoes to go one night, and sadly, I was actually pretty disappointed by it. It seems everything is premade and once you order, they just scoop it onto your potato then warm it up before handing it to you. No big deal as I imagine it would be a long wait time if they made some of the ingredients fresh, however, I found both potatoes to be quite dry. We had to use all the sour cream they gave us to help with the dryness and flavor, and I realized once I got home that no butter was included either. Despite the dryness, it was helped by the sour cream and the toppings were plentiful, BUT I found the cheese to be quite lacking. It may be because I'm a huge fan of cheese and I feel a proper potato needs to be covered in cheese, but once you start eating or even mixing the ingredients in, you'll find that there is definitely not enough cheese for the entire potato. I had to add more cheese to my potato once I got home. The pictures make the potatoes look very cheesy so I was disappointed when I saw my potatoes. I wish I would've opened my boxes while I was still there because I likely would've just requested more cheese even for an extra cost. Anyways, despite those flaws, I still did enjoy my potatoes. I've had better though. But the size here is probably the best I can find in Georgia and the toppings are generous. The price is VERY fair for the size. I'm actually shocked it's not more. That being said, I'd likely give it another shot if I'm in the area, but I'd just know to request some extra cheese or sour cream/butter next time.

The flavor was rich, perfectly balanced, and the meat was incredibly tender. The bourbon and honey gave a sweet-savory kick. The garlic and rosemary brought a deep, aromatic finish, which was paired with some parsley potatoes for a comforting, hearty meal. I also tossed the leftovers into a shrimp stir-fry with vegetables--unreal combo! Highly recommend stopping by and trying these out. You won't be disappointed!
