I wasn't extremely nervous but didn't know what to expect since I never had surgery on a cavity before. In my consultation, I was greeted with the most friendly staff, and Dr. Kang is so calm and professional. I asked Dr. Kang questions about the procedure to assure things would go well, and in the end, I was ready for him to work on me. Today, he finished my root canal. He asked me periodically if I was okay, and his nurse told me I was doing a good job. It was such a comfortable experience and a very easy procedure to get through. I highly recommend Dr. Kang. He listens and cares about his patients. It's not always easy to find a doctor with such attributes. Right now, my numbing medication is out of my system, and I have no pain. If you need a root canal or some other dental surgery, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Dr. Kang and his staff. You won't be disappointed! :)

To be treated by Dr. Lyla Boustani is an unforgettable experience. There are so many things about…read moreher that makes you feel relaxed and respected. I got a root canal and it's the first time in my life that it was almost painless. It's the way she goes about it. She explains every detail, step by step, and checks how you feel constantly. And she is extremely careful and professional. Add that to all this that she has a great dental assistant who offers lavender to relax you and a ceiling that is basically "sky and clouds". So yes, it's unforgettable and not even close to other physicians and dentists I met in my life. Many should learn from Dr. Boustani.

I waited for about a year to write this review, see how my procedure feels, how things evolved and…read moreso on. I was referred to Dr. Boustani last year in May when I needed a root canal, my first one ever. I was nervous, but I was also in pain for a while so I wanted to proceed with everything and get rid of trouble. We started with a consultation to identify the tooth, test the area, an X-ray and so on. Dr Boustani was very nice and seemed very careful and precise. We made the appointment for the procedure. Everyone at the front desk was very nice to me and my husband during this time. They did call me to re-schedule de appointment since they didn't have an assistant for my procedure. That was a bit annoying since I was in pain and wanted to get it over with. But I know everyone deals with lack of staff these days. In the day of the procedure, Dr. Boustani made sure I was really numb, tested me several times, she told me it is an important part of the procedure. She sprayed my arms with lavender oil which I love, trying to calm my nerves. The root canal procedure took at least 2 hours, but the doctor was nice, patient, I felt like I was in good hands, she kept me updated with the steps. She is a nice, warm person, easy to chat with while waiting for various steps. She is very experienced, uses the latest technology, and is passionate about her work I didn't feel anything the whole time. It isn't a walk in the park to get a root canal, still, but I didn't feel any pain and I felt care for. They charge a lot, we had a small discount and if you pay upfront you get another one, which I did since I don't have dental insurance. I know this kind of procedure is costly anyways. But I felt in good hands and everyone was very nice and caring. Had no issues during the recovery (not a fun process, but it is what it is). They validate parking for 2 hours, we were in there longer so we paid a tad extra (the building is on Riverside dr.). The garage needs to fix the payment machine, it doesn't work that well. I hope to not need another root canal (or not one anytime soon) but I would come back to Dr. Boustani if that would be the case.

IMO, one of the best dentists in the valley. And I've been to quite a few in the LA area. Dr B…read more expresses passion and care on another level. Been taking care of my dental needs here for over three years despite NOT being in-network for my insurance. That alone should say a lot. Over the years, I've realized that Dr B. has a genuine relationship with each one of here patients, with whom she practices care, practical results, and clear presence. A real gem of a local dentist in the SFV.

I usually don't write bad reviews and I am gonna try to keep this one short. I came here over a…read moreyear ago to get rid of a root canal that I believed was a source of problems Her holistic approach was what convinced me in the first place. I am not gonna criticize the dentists there. They seem to be doing a decent job. What I am appalled about is the lack of transparency regarding their prices and the pressure they put on you to have more work done even if you don't want it. The lady in the front was rude, pushy, forces you into getting a 900 dollar membership to receive discounted prices and a yearly "free"cleaning. They make you pay first and then email you a link to a bill 2 pages long... probably to make you feel better about the amount you are being charged for! My procedure was simple X-rays, beam scan, pull the root out. Insert metal implant, and then a crown. I needed an additional sinus lift which I had no issue paying for. But I was told half way through the procedure by the front lady that my implant was gonna be 4793 which I believe is way enough for a regular implant ( not including my sinus lift which was an additional 1530) ... but nope at the time I was supposed to get the abutment and the crown I was told I needed to pay an additional 4654! One tooth would have come up to 9450 without the sinus lift. I had no complications nothing done other than the sinus lift. It took over a year to have half the procedure done. Another thing that sucks there the only dentist that is qualified to do implant comes once a month! Great! They ultimately made me believe I misunderstood when I paid the first 4800... that it was only the implant not the actual tooth! Believe me, I would have been cleary told that the whole thing was gonna cost over 10k I would have been seeing another dentist from the get go. I am not criticizing their work but their lack of transparency, lack of honesty and their prices over all. My old dentist finished the job for less than half want they wanted for the crown. Unless you have 10k for a tooth I would not recommend this place at all!!!
