We came early afternoon knowing that kids are not allowed in the evening. Once we paid, we got our coats and they led us on our way. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was a neat experience. I wasn't expecting it to be that cold, but it was pretty dang cold. Fortunately it wasn't busy so we were able to sit around and take a lot of pictures. The whole place is ice including the chairs. We ordered only the basic package ($24 with 10% off on Yelp for a total with fees and tax of $27.30). The coats were fairly warm and the gloves were definitely nice to have. While inside, we decided to order a drink for the ice cup (definitely an adorable novelty and as previous reviewers have said: BE WARNED: if you break the cup, it's $3 to replace if you want another drink). They took a few photos for us, but since phones are allowed, I think our photos came out better and we didn't end up buying theirs. I've wanted to go to an ice bar for twelve years and it had everything I could imagine. It had the big fluffy coats, the ice glasses, the ice throne, and cocktails galore. It was bright and dark and loud. It was so very loud. Being midday I could have enjoyed it more if it was a bit quieter as it was a challenge to talk to my group of friends but that was my only complaint. It was bright when the lights were flashing to an upbeat tune and dark when the lights cut to their lowest. The furniture was as comfortable as one could expect. I tried one cocktail from the menu and it was ok but the second cocktail - a White Russian which seemed appropriate for the ice bar - was super good. We each found when we didn't order from the menu that the cocktails came out really good. The menu cocktails were just ok. I know it's a tourist trap and a gimmick. Every once in awhile, though, I just want to experience the ridiculous. I am not going here for craft cocktails or a classy atmosphere - I am going here for the novelty of being in an ice bar in the desert. I am going here for ice and it did not disappoint. It was cold, my best friend was super happy because he was comfortable and I bundled up under fluffy jackets. It was well over 100 degrees on my last visit to LV. I wanted to visit this place in SoBe, but didn't get the chance. I arrived mid-day and decided to give it a go--id say it's so-so, but nothing to write home about. They offer three different packages. $24 for general admission, $49 for two drinks and I believe $79 for two drinks and photos. I opted for one regular entry and the two drink package. They charged some administrative fee and tax, so it totaled to almost $100 before tip to the bartender. We were provided a coat and gloves, but I'd you don't the most expensive package, you get a fur coat. We only got Parkas. They take a photo and then you can proceed into the bar. Initially I wasn't that cold, but I had shorts on and it starts to catch up to you. After about 45 minutes to an hour inside, I wanted to leave. Not just because my legs were cold, it's not that large of a space and there's only so many photos you can take in the same space. Another problem was, the drink was relatively weak. I thought about buying another--quickly changed my mind because there was no type of buzz whatsoever. In addition, the cup is made of ice and is very slippery. It almost fell out of my hand twice so I finished the drink quickly. I would say it's good to experience once; however, I was underwhelmed by the experience and the costs. read more

A great place to chill, and sets the ambiance for a fun time that can only be elevated by who you are there with. There are four different minus5 Ice Bars in Vegas (Mandalay Bay, Venetian, Linq & 1923 Prohibition Bar), but we chose the Venetian since we wanted to walk around the Grand Canals afterward. There are different ticket experiences, the most expensive being the V-ICE-P Experience. You get a faux fur coat (black, white, or colorful), gloves, a free beanie or earmuffs, and two free drinks. They also take photos of you in front of a green screen and inside that you can choose to buy. For V-ICE-P members, you get a free digital print they email to you. Non-V-ICE-P members get parkas. Inside, your coat keeps you pretty warm. It has pockets! I suggest wearing pants if you don't want your legs to get too cold. Our complimentary cocktails and mocktails came in cool ice glasses. They reminded us to make sure to put our glasses on one of the many coasters they had available so the cup won't stick to the ice tables. There were a couple of different seating options and photo opts. They had fun drinking options like a titty shot with people sipping a shot from a glass boob (via a straw for sanitary reasons). Big groups can take a ski shot together. And if you like scavenger hunts, scan the QR Code and look for all the hidden items frozen on the walls around you. I think each location has different things to find. There are also games you can play. During the day, kids are welcome. But there's a point where it's adults only. Everyone is just friendly and chatty. The gloves aren't warm enough, though, because, at some point, the ice glass was numbing my fingers. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Look. It's a bar made entirely of ice. Even the freaking cups are made of ice. You have to! You just have to. Admission was kinda pricey. $49 to get in and have 2 drinks (it comes with a jacket and gloves). But if you think about it, 2 drinks are easily half of that price already. Tip: you have to keep your glass for the 2nd drink! If not the replacement glass is $3. The bartender there was super cool, the music was great, and they have a few mini games to play there. There's also a bunch of handheld signs for photos and selfies. The seating is also made of ice but they have a covering on it for you. I recommend using the coasters they provide because your glass will slip off and break (my rookie mistake). Overall a great experience. I was excited to know this place is inside the Venetian, since we we're staying at the Palazzo. There's a few on the strip. This place was convenient for us. The front was 3 females working. They were very upbeat and explained the packages ans decided to go with the VIP Package, which includes 2 drinks, a beanie for you to take and a long faux coat, and pictures. It's a great deal and great price. Pia was our bartender, she had such and upbeat personality through the entire time. Pia let us know how she loves her job and always on the move so it doesn't get that cold. This place my not be big but it's definitely cozy and there's so many amazing neat ice sculptures. So creative! The photographer was on his A game having us post for pictures since it comes with the package. He had us posing and was so much fun doing so. The only thing that's a bummer was that my pictures didn't come through my email, that the photographer took. Bummer! Overall this place is such a fun experience for adults. Though kids are allowed in all honesty we did see some kids inside but if you're a kid, the last thing you want, is to be around adults drinking away. Everyone is different though. The gloves are not the best but are disposable so if keeping hands warm without tucking them somewhere is an issue, consider bringing some. I came here for my daughter's 21st birthday. It looks amazing advertised. They make the ambience seem cool and the drinks. We had a rough time finding it but once we did we paid the $49 so we were able to get the two free drinks. Upon walking in, we were the only ones in there. I get that it's January but there's so many people in Vegas still that I wasn't expecting pure emptiness. Drinks were sugary and honestly gross. The bartender girl left for a long time so we were quite literally the only ones in there. There's nothing super interactive to do in there besides look at the decorations which some are made of ice and some are plastic with the paint job of ice. The music they play is incredibly loud you can't even hear eachother and it's not good music it's basically just loud rap songs or "tik tok" music as described by my daughter. As we left and went back to the front desk, even one of the employees agreed that this is a waste of money. So, you're essentially sitting in a freezer with insanely loud music playing and drinking really gross sugary drinks out of an ice cup. All for $49. We stayed maybe 15 minutes. I've been to this ice bar twice and I've enjoyed both visits. I recently came here with a huge group and it was incredibly fun (and cold, lol!) They give you a big parka jacket to go inside and everything - literally everything- is made out of ice! The floor, the seats, the cups, ETC. Even the staff is wearing gear to survive in the ice cold room. Depending on which ticket you get, you can get cocktails with your ticket or you order separately from your ticket. Since I went with a big party my last visit, we tried ski shots! It was really fun. There were also little games that you could play, but tbh I just loved everyone's vibe while we were there. A literally cool experience to try in Vegas! The Icebar is a unique bar where everything is made of ice (except for the floor and ceiling). This is perfect for those hot days and warm nights. You can buy tickets online or day of, there was no line nor a lot of people when we went on a Thursday night. Tickets are based on what you want included but parkas and gloves are provided regardless. If you do not want to drink, just the entry fee "Cool Experience" is good and you can buy a drink while you're inside if you change your mind (mocktails available). This is good too if you only want to do their other specialty drinks like the ski shots or birthday shots since those are not included in any packages. The "Coolest Experience" is the entry fee but includes 2 drinks off of their menu, a good option if you planned to drink anyway (but does not include any of the specialty drinks/shots). For the "V-Ice-P Experience", you would have to decide if you want to go a little extra for the pictures. Personally, the only extra appeal for me would be that you get fur coats instead of basic parkas to wear. Otherwise I don't care much for the souvenir (which I believe is a hat) and the photo. Some extra tips that may also help decide on how you want to spend your money/time there: -Cover up! Some reviews said it was not that cold but when we went they must have turned it up because we can definitely see our breaths in the air. Wear closed toed shoes and long pants if you can because you will feel like you are getting frostbite after a while. Socks are available for $5. -There are photographers that take pictures for you with professional cameras and you can choose which ones to buy at the end. The pictures were pretty high quality and came out very cute with good angles of everyone. I believe can buy 1 for $15 or 3 for a package deal. For 7 photos we paid $45. They are digital so you can just pay and email each other copies to split the cost! -The drinks were just ok, I think the appeal for us was more just the ice cups that are made of ice. Listen to their instructions on how not break them because you reuse them until you leave. A replacement is $3. -They played a lot of pop music so most people will recognize the songs they play. What a "COOL" experience! Haha, sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, for $17, you get to lounge around and take lots of photos in a lounge made completely out of ice at 14-18 degrees Fahrenheit. Honestly, when I read the reviews, I had mentally prepared myself for the worst, but the temperature was pretty tolerable. My toes did start getting a little chilly by the 30 minute mark, though, but it ain't nothing compared to being in a Korean ice bath. Once inside, you can take as many photos as you want and enjoy a drink at the bar drinking from a glass made entirely of ice. The ice cocktails range from $13-20 per glass. I chose the $17 cool experience which comes with a parka and gloves, but there is a $45 option that comes with a faux fur coat and includes an ice cocktail for those who are looking for those Instagram worthy selfies. They had a couple of games you can play tic tack toe & and a fishing rod with a circle at the end you had to try to get on the hook. No one was able to get it, my friend did on her first try! My parents were visiting Las Vegas (and me of course) and I was taking them to the wax museum when we walked by minus5 ICEBAR and my dads eyes lit up out of curiosity. After explaining to my dad what this place was, he already decided that we were heading inside right away! My parents each paid $50 for entry since that's admission came with two drink tickets and my girlfriend and I were each $25 a piece and just covered the price of admission. When you first begin to enter the icebar, you are given a large insulated jacket to keep you warm and soon enough you will find yourself in a room completely made out of ice. Completely made out of ice you say? The tables are made of ice, the art is surrounded by ice, the characters are made out of ice (Star Wars and animals), and guess what the glasses you drink out of are made of? Well, it's also ice and it makes for some extremely refreshing ginger ale. We ended up spending about a half an hour inside of the icebar before running out of things to do and just getting cold. This place is a gimmick and it doesn't pretend to be anything else, but it does a good job at it. This place is fun to come into for a bit, take some pictures, drink something, and then leave so you can warm up and not get frostbite. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up for being an escape from the blistering Las Vegas heat and a fun place to hang out and do something a little different. Will I be returning in the future?
