Everyone goes the extra mile whenever I come in, including helping me get clothes to and from the car whenever my toddler is with me and I definitely need the extra hands. The owner is great and has personally helped me to the car on more than one occasion. I've brought heavily stained items, designer pieces, and fragile clothes, and they always come back to me looking better than ever for a very competitive price and with a speedy turnaround. Just last week I brought in my grandfather's Burberry rain coat; it had gotten some odd stains on it during our move. It's the only remaining item I have of my grandfather's, and I was so afraid of such a sentimental piece being ruined in the cleaning process that I delayed bringing it in for far too long. I explained the situation, and the way they carefully inspected the jacket with the utmost care demonstrated how thoughtful and trustworthy they are. I picked it up today and it looks absolutely pristine. 10/10 recommend.

Every now and then (perhaps every few years) something would happen and they would ruin a piece of clothing. Upsetting yes, but understandable because after all this is life and we are all human and things happen. They would always be very nice about it, try and fix it, and if they couldn't, they would give me credit for the value of the item that I would quickly use in additional dry cleaning. Unfortunately new owners have come in and everything has dramatically changed. I had noticed in the past few months that the quality I had been used to was slipping but decided to stick with them because I had been a loyal customer for so long. I had even asked one of the long time employees there what was going on and she told me there were new owners and it was getting very bad there. Still out of laziness of finding another cleaner after being with them for so long I stayed. Then they ruined a $600 white shirt of mine that they must have washed with dark colors because it came back gray. I immediately went in to tell them after I saw it and surprisingly they were not very nice about it and told me it was gray when it came in! Like they know the color of my clothes better than I do! They ultimately agreed to try and dry clean it again to see if they could fix it. When I went back to get it nothing had changed and the shirt was ruined. Unlike the 2-3 other times I had problems with clothes they had ruined over the past 10 years or so, this time the new owners had an entirely different attitude. The man started yelling at me and telling me I was trying to steal from him! Like I have time to waste on something like this? Instead of being understanding and trying to easily take responsibility he was abusive and started blaming me for making everything up! I had really never experienced anything quite like this in my life. I should have listened to their employee who told me everything had gotten much worse there but I foolishly didn't. I have now learned my lesson and will never go back there. I'm hoping the 15 minutes it took for me to write this will save the next person from the abusive new owner. We all understand that sometimes things happen in life as well as business, but how a person handles themselves tells you a lot about them. Be smart and give your hard earned money to someone else. PS - I just found out they had bought another dry cleaner in Scarsdale, NY that they ran into the ground and it is now out of business. I again asked if prices would be posted but got no answer. As an aside, I checked with other dry cleaners in the neighborhood and the price for cleaning a pair of pants is below even $18.
