Awesome treatment by Rae and Grace! Went to CVS Minute Clinic on 5/25 and 5/27 for TB skin test and read, after my doctor sent me that they were out of tb shots. So I went there on Tuesday, Rae greeted me and did what she had to do for Tb procedure. She also reminded me to check with my insurance if they also covers for cvs minute clinic treatment, which they do cover. Two days later, Grace greeted me for TB read, and she helped me going through all the docs needed for claiming the insurance. Basically, before you were seeing by the NP (Nurse Practitioner), you have to sign in from the touch screen computer located outside. You can also fasten the procedure by having this online at home. Then you will get a number. Waiting area is not that big, only have 4 chairs. They don't have buzzers to call you while you wait, so just wait in the waiting room, don't roam around in cvs otherwise you're gonna miss your spot. This minute clinic is great for people who don't have insurance, or just to get quick immunizations or flu shots. So glad to have this in my area. Thanks Rae and Grace! read more

Arrived early for my appointment to get a vaccine. Have been waiting for over a half hour while my place in line says two minutes. Why bother to make appointments if you don't plan to honor the time? Ridiculous. This is my first and last visit. My time is important too! read more

During early August this year, I brought my sister for the first time to this clinic, to consult regarding an eye condition that she was repeatedly complaining about. After booking her appointment in the machine (found in between the two clinic rooms), we had an overall idea about the wait time and decided to hangout in the nearby whole foods market (which is in the same complex). We got back to the clinic on time as scheduled and we were promptly called in by a nurse practitioner Grace Chao. Grace's approach to check the patient was good and her diagnosis was helpful. Her medicines definitely supported my sister's eye condition and did not have any adverse medicinal effects afterwards. With full patience and attention, grace listened to my sister's queries and concerns, which I appreciate. She even allowed me to accompany my sister inside the clinic room (not sure whether every nurse practitioner or doctor will be as cool as her). Later on last month, my sister had the same condition popped up again, for which we showed up to the clinic on 10/20/2016. We were not sure whether we will meet Grace, but honestly, we were lucky. We met her and it was easy for my sister to explain her condition, as Grace knows the history. After checking my sister's eye condition completely, Grace came up with a recommendation that the pertaining condition needs an Ophthalmologist's immediate attention, as it is repetitive. Here, I would like to appreciate Grace's honesty. At this Minute Clinic location, the procedure to consult a nurse practitioner is based on Appointments only. Talking about the wait time, it typically depends on each patient's requirements based on their health issues and so the wait time could be longer nor if lucky, the line could move fast. The other day when we visited for the first time, luckily the patients line moved considerably fast and we were able to come out of the clinic within an hour easily. We had a similar experience during our second visit as well. Great little clinic for those that don't have health insurance. The clinic is located in the back towards the right. Check in is quick & easy. You go to the kiosk & type in your information. After, it'll tell you how long the wait is & where you are in line. When I was there both times, there was no wait whatsoever. The clinic looks clean & sterile. I was there to get a TB test done for work. Both nurse practitioners were very friendly & professional. They would offer to explain anything you didn't understand, quite thorough. Five stars for Amy Sharma! With my General Practitioner on vacation and coming down with a throat infection, I googled my options as to getting a strep throat test. Upon research I found CVS offers minute clinic, a miniature doctors office within CVS itself. Not knowing what to expect, I showed up thinking there would be a long wait like there usually is at medicine pickup. I was the only one on the waiting list, and was instantly seen by Amy. She was EXTREMELY nice, and seemed to have a passion for what she does. She gave me a checkup and did some throat tests, and I was good to go! Thank you for helping this hypochondriac again Amy! If anyone needs a quick checkup I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this minute clinic. They also accept most major PPO insurances. Cost of checkup: 89$ read more

Minute clinic service is awful. Nurse is so rude and unhelpful. I made an appointment days ago for health screening, but she said we ran out of supplies!!!! I felt so discriminated, neglected and ignored. She told me can you speak ENGLISH. She was so racist to me. read more

I wish there is a negative rating. Do not go here for TB Skin Test. The NP does not know what she's doing. She looked at my red spot and said "positive". She never touched, never felt it. All she did was measure the redness. Yes I has a slight bump but it was soft. It was not "hard" which is a criteria for a positive TB test. She's either incompetent or lazy. She got her degree from "minute" college. She has no compassion. She works like a robot. She couldn't wait for me to pay her so she could take the next customer. It was a minute alright - a minute to inject and a minute to read. I went home, looked up the internet and could not believe how she could possibly decided that it was positive. I had to get a chest X-ray. The result came back clear, no evidence of TB. She costs me time, money, stress, work delay (I needed the test for work). I will never go here again. read more

I had a significantly different and miserable experience with this "minute clinic." There are no people or staff to whom a question may be asked, just a kiosk that allows you to request an "appointmet" but doesn't specify which medical screening test is needed. So maybe 3 hours after "checking in" you find out the clinic is "out" of the particular kit they need for the specific test you need ( for example, an A1C or a cholesterol screening). So you waited for nothing. I tried a second time, and when the kiosk again said my wait would be 3 hours, I wanted to cancel the request, but couldn't find any menu to cancel an existing request. So someone else's time might be wasted because my time is still listed and I couldn't cancel it. The system is very inefficient and doesn't support people who work or have some other schedule to keep. I can't honestly recommend it. Just having one person to whom a question could be asked directly and answered would have saved everyone time. The phone "information" number isn't useful either - they do not know what kits are in stock at which clinic and you can still get "scheduled" and then find out they can't perform the test. read more

Drove 2 hours one way to get tested for COVID. The results were supposed to take 3-5 days. Well it's been 11 days and still no results. You call customer service and they are as helpful as my results, which is nothing. I suggest that you use Peachtree immediate care since they give you your results on the spot. read more

Another appointment to fit in my schedule and another fee, wish I would have been informed when making first appointment. read more

Very happy with today's visit, I accidentally made my appt for wrong day but they took me immediately. Nurse was very respectful and efficient. Recommend the service...I went for TB test for volunteer work. Nurse helped me set up followup visit for the read. I highly recommend. read more

Tina is amazing! Fastest vaccine experience ever. There was no line, the kiosk was very user friendly. It said "8 minute wait", but I was in and out way before that. She checked my insurance fast, it was easy. I highly recommend this minute clinic at CVS! And Tina NP gets five stars! read more

We waited for the nurse to arrived for over 2 hours only to find out that she wasn't coming in at all that day. CVS claims no knowledge of the clinics hours or staff and does not manage it. There is also no direct number to call to see if they are showing up or not. read more

We went on a Sunday morning. We arrived around 11AM and there were 3 people ahead of us. It became a 90 minute wait but they text you to give you a 30 minute heads up. We left and ran some errands then came back. It's in a good location with Whole Foods and other shops in that plaza to help kill time. The nurse practitioner promptly saw us and conducted the health screening (blood glucose, cholesterol, etc.). She was superb, very professional and efficient. Explained all the results and answered all our questions. Great option for anyone who gets sick on a weekend and are unable to see their primary doctor right away. No appointments. read more

Don't use this place! I had a TB test done on Sat. and paid my $28.00. Amy told me to come back on Monday to have it read. Well to my surprise the Nurse couldn't even see the TB area! I had a couple red spots and she couldn't tell! Then she asked for another $28.00 for the reading. We were never told about the added cost. Minute Clinic offers to send the results to you Dr. but if they aren't on their list you have to do it! There are Better clinics in San Jose on Bascom Ave. just before Hwy 85 and the Dr's and nurses are wonderful! read more

Christina was absolutely wonderful, she made me feel so cared for and safe today when I went in. I hate doctors and hospitals and generally don't seek medical attention ever. I only went in cause my employer said I needed a doctor note. Who knew I was actually sick! She charted every symptom, did a thorough examination and diagnosed my symptoms to a T! Sent me directly to the Er and hours later even did a follow up the same night!! She is a world class practitioner in my eyes and would refer anybody to her and the minute clinic at this location! read more

Five people ahead of me, 15 min. per, should have been 1 hour and 15 min., right? Sadly, one mom w/2 kids (counted as 1 person) took 48 min.! Another person was 25 min. So...no where near 15 min. per person. And when it was my turn it became clear why not...if you haven't been there previously the insurance paperwork alone takes almost 15 min. I was there for a cough I'd had for almost a week that was keeping me up all night (3 nights in a row). I was completely exhausted and needed to sleep! I thought the exam I got was good. But the prescription I received did absolutely *nothing* to help! 2 days later, still getting little sleep at night. And now my insurance is out $79 and I will have to go someplace else for care and have the insurance pay again. Because with these walk-in clinics you can't just phone them and say "hey...the prescription didn't work...can we try something else?" And I am not going to spend another 2 hours waiting to see the NP at this clinic when the first time was a bust. What have I learned? Your primary care physician is best unless it's so urgent you cannot wait. read more
