This place is pretty convenient as it is located inside Longs Drugs Kahala Mall. You can either do a walk in or schedule an appointment online at minuteclinic.com or with the CVS app. I would recommend coming about 10 - 15 minutes before your appointment as you have to sign in electronically and answer some questions. Hmmmm.... What happened to seeing a receptionist and being able to speak to someone face to face. I guess pretty soon there will be no need for doctors as it will be robots taking all of our vitals and poking us with needles and stuff. Yes I like the human interaction and I didn't have all the answers to the questions so i was a little frustrated. Once I got through the questions and signed in it was a short wait to actually see someone. Very knowledgeable and friendly person working when I went and if you need any medicine you can grab it at the pharmacy right next door, pretty convenient. Their hours are listed below: Mon-fri 8:00-7 Lunch 1-2 Sat 9-5:30 Sun 9-4:30

I have a confession...I come here because I know not many are tech savvy and I take advantage of that because it's so convenient signing electronically than writing as I get cramps in my hand as I'm seeking healthcare. Plus the wait time is bare to none! So, yes-it's a FIVE star review from me because: *you sign-in through a computer. If you're an establish patient, your info is there, which makes signing in faster and easier *it is an acute care clinic with Nurse Practitioners to care for you (if your primary care provider is booked, this should be your next stop/choice) *the wait time is not long (if there are others before you, you have the option of being paged if you want to browse around Longs Kapolei *they do TB test here (bonus: If you have HMSA, they cover TB vaccination once a year) *you can get your flu and other vaccinations as well *the time with the Nurse Practitioner is thorough (they explain to you what they're doing as well as providing good health care advice *If you travel to the mainland and go to a minute clinic at a CVS store-your info will be in the system *friendly services and the prices are just right for the type of visit you're seeking I'm pretty sure there other things that I can name on why I like Minute Clinic but I'll write this for now.

I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. I have been very fortunate recently and not been sick AT ALL. Not a sniffle. Not a cold. Since apparently my body felt I was enjoying my good health too much, five days ago I got hit by what felt like a truck. Being an asthmatic when I get sick, I don't get the sniffles, I get the full on plague so on Friday I stopped by here with what felt like a sinus infection. The practitioner took the time to get know my medical history, and made sure I left there with a good understanding of what to do if I wasn't feeling better, etc. Best of all, she didn't over prescribe things and made sure nothing she gave me interacted with anything I already took or have previously taken. Fast forward to Sunday and I feel like death. Back in my car I go and there's a new provider there. Thankfully she left good notes and even better, the provider there was honest enough to say that my symptoms were beyond their scope of care and she sent me to Kunia Urgent Care to ensure that I got the best possible medical care possible. You may be reading this and wondering why would I be giving five stars if I had to go back and then go elsewhere, and I'll explain. These practitioners truly care about their patients which is why when on Friday when I wasn't presenting with the symptoms I had today I wasn't over prescribed medication (something that oftentimes happens being an asthmatic). Both providers took the time to listen to my symptoms and did a thorough exam prior to making a diagnosis. These practicioners showed care and compassion far beyond the scope of what I expect at walk in clinic. Once you sign in at the kiosk, you can also have a text sent to your phone when you're next if there's a long wait which is a nice feature. Should you find yourself feeling under the weather, you will find yourself in good hands here.

This convenient medical clinic is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The Nurse Practitioner is able to assess, diagnose and treat your symptoms at this clinic. They are able to prescribe medication if needed but best of all they provide great education about your diagnosis. If you need to be seen today you can walk in. They also allow appointments online for same day and future appointments. I highly recommend them.

It was a nasty cut and the whole situation was honestly terrifying at the time. I'm a little late writing this review (it's now February), but I'm finally fully healed and I've been thinking about how grateful I am for the team at Doctors of Waikīkī. Dustin did incredible work on my stitches. The injury was pretty bad, but he handled everything with so much care and precision. You can tell he really knows what he's doing, and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. And Tabitha truly made the experience so much better than it could have been. She brought such positive energy into a really scary moment. She kept me calm, made me laugh, and helped take my mind off how painful and overwhelming everything felt. That kind of kindness really sticks with you. The whole office had great energy and a genuinely caring team. Even though the injury itself was awful, they made the experience as good as it possibly could have been. Funny enough, if they heard what happened after I got back to Sacramento they'd probably be surprised -- and maybe a little pissed -- because a doctor here took my stitches out too early and I ended up having to let it heal as an open wound. But through it all, I'm finally fully healed now, and I'm really thankful for Dustin, Tabitha, and the whole team for helping me through the start of that journey. They turned a really scary moment into something I can actually look back on with gratitude.

The doctors I saw came across as dismissive, rushed, and condescending. Instead of feeling heard, I often felt like my concerns were being minimized or brushed aside. Questions were not fully answered, and discussions about my health frequently lacked the detail and explanation that patients deserve. I sought care because I had legitimate health concerns and abnormal findings that warranted follow-up and discussion. Rather than receiving thoughtful guidance, I often left appointments feeling more confused than when I arrived. In some cases, information documented in visit notes did not reflect the depth of discussion that actually took place during the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that the nurse practitioners and APRNs have been excellent. They took time to listen, explain why testing or follow-up was needed, and treated me with respect. My experience with the emergency department was also positive, professional, and compassionate. This review is not directed at the nursing staff, APRNs, or emergency department. They have consistently provided better communication and patient-centered care than any of the physicians I encountered. After three different PCPs and the same experience each time, I have lost confidence in the physician care provided by this clinic. Patients should not have to feel talked down to in order to receive answers about their own health.

They scheduled my 14 year old cat for a same day appointment and we couldn't have been happier with…read morethe care Dr. Sin provided. My cat had intermittently been showing signs of pain for a couple weeks (refusing food and hiding). We'd been in contact with her regular vet and had a couple appointments, but were still in the stage of monitoring her due to her symptoms being sporadic. On Thursday, she refused both her meals. We got her scheduled for bloodwork with her regular vet for the following Monday. By Friday she was still refusing to eat/drink, and was hiding and refusing to be pet, whereas she's normally very affectionate. Being concerned about her lack of fluid intake and the escalation of her symptoms, I called Kaimuki Veterinary Urgent Care and got an appointment the same day. Dr. Sin did an exam, and had an in-depth conversation with us about the broad range of possible causes for her symptoms. It was clear Dr. Sin fully reviewed my cat's medical history, and took her regular vet's previous notes into account when speaking with us. They ended up drawing the labs that her regular vet was planning to draw the next week, which allowed us to get the results 3 days earlier than we would have! In the meantime she provided a subcutaneous fluid injection to help with our kitty's hydration, and an injected antibiotic. They also sent us home with a pain medication for her. Between the fluid injection and the pain medicine, she was acting more like herself that same night, and she ate her full dinner. They promptly sent the medical records back to her usual vet, who informed us that the labs showed signs of kidney disease, as well as pancreatitis. We're starting her on a special diet for her kidney disease, but regular vet credited Dr. Sin by saying that the antibiotic injection she gave likely already took care of the pancreatitis. Dr. Sin and her team were very compassionate, and Dr. Sin especially was very efficient at communicating her clinical thought process. They also provided itemized price estimates before rendering services. I compared the estimates to the ones from my regular vet, and the prices were roughly the same! Unexpected vet visits and bills are scary, but the team here was open and transparent about the whole process, which really put our minds at ease. Thank you for everything!
