Signed up online which stated a 15 minute estimated wait, got a text on the way which stated 30 minute estimated wait showed up ahead of my schedule time on their app by about 10 minutes and the front desk said it's at least an hour implying it's going to be a very long wait. Nobody was in waiting room except a couple who had not checked in yet. How is it "at least an hour" with nobody in the waiting room? It can't be appointments because I got one an hour earlier with earlier times available. Didnt like the general support from the front desk as well so got an appointment at the AFC by Wegmans while waiting and was able to leave this location, drive to AFC and been seen in less then 20 minutes. I assume this Bon Secours location is either not staffed or the workers just can't be bothered. I would avoid this place and go with any of the other options in area.

I like to sum up reviews with a single word, and for the Southside Health Center, the word is "inclusivity." Services offered are general medical services, pediatric, dental, and behavioral health. I am unaware of the full scope of services offered, but I would recommend SHC to anyone, irrespective of their means. The interior is squeaky clean. There are always sufficient receptionists to accommodate both the English and Spanish community. Additionally, they can provide translation for a large number of languages, including French, Portuguese, Creole, and Italian. The parking lot can be crowded at times, but it has never been too full for my car to fit in.

On my most recent visit I came to do a wellness check up so I can get my wellness dollars through my employer. I didn't schedule myself this time but luckily when I showed up there wasn't a wait time at all. I called the billing department and the office to understand what this $129 fee is for. I was told that this fee was for talking to you about your symptoms plus the time they spend on you. So the longer you stay, the more the charge at the minute clinic. Just be aware of this before you choose the minute clinic. It doesn't save money compared to urgent care and emergency care. The only advantage is that you can reserve ahead on the same day. But for people who decide to drop in, you may still need to wait for more than an hour.
