There is no care or concern for patients here. Horribly insensitive, bureaucratic, and dishonest about care available and administered.

I told her and she tells me to put my card in... I asked her why and how much it would cost and she says "I don't know, you haven't been seen yet." Duh Sherlock, but then why am I putting my card into the machine? So I asked her why I was putting my card in and she told me that it would come right out of the account after I was seen for the amount they charge. (Obviously, not in a nice way) It would've been nice if you explained that to me instead of being rude...

The lab tech who took my vitals asked me if I wanted to see a Dr (what??) and also didn't understand when I said I didn't know the date of my last period because I had a hysterectomy years ago. He asked me what a hysterectomy was. So yeh. The Dr came in without so much as a "hello" or "kiss my a**". This guy mumbles or has such a thick accent that I couldn't understand a word he said so I waited until he printed out the little directions to see what his diagnosis was and what to do about it. Total cluster. I should have waited to see a real doctor during the week I suppose. Also they printed out something about high blood pressure for me. My blood pressure was 121/66 -?

The perfect spot for when you are sick and want to get in and out without waiting. They also offer appointments. So I made a Sunday appointment and 15 minutes later I received a call back, that the establishment did not have a provider on staff for the day (ie: doctor etc). Ok no Sunday help for me. I was able to reschedule for the morning. The waiting room was virtually empty and I still had to wait 35 minutes from my appt time before I could meet with the nurse. But once you are back there, things roll fast. And they have some of the best Drs. So even though you will wait, even with an appt... it's a great place to go when you are sick

I gave one star only because there isn't an option for zero…read more Family Practice Associates was my primary care provider for the past six years--and prior to that, I was a patient there for another seven years. Unfortunately, my most recent experience ended that relationship. During a recent visit with a PA (whom I was seeing for the first time), he relied on lab results that were over 15 months old to conclude that I needed to be placed on a statin and switched to a different blood pressure medication. What was particularly concerning was the complete lack of a measured, evidence-based approach. A reasonable starting point would have been: "Your last labs showed elevated cholesterol--let's order updated labs to see where things stand today and then discuss next steps." Instead, the conclusion was immediate: I should begin a statin. For context, I scheduled the appointment simply to refill my blood pressure medication and request updated labs to evaluate several health markers I've been actively working to improve over the past year. Without asking how my current medication was working, the PA stated he wanted to switch me off Losartan--apparently unaware that another physician in the same practice had already adjusted my medication two years ago with excellent results and zero side effects. When I pointed out that the lab data was outdated and that I preferred to obtain current labs before making medication changes--particularly starting a statin--I was subsequently dismissed as a patient. Not for nonpayment, not for disruptive behavior, but for questioning a recommendation and asking for updated clinical data. Professionalism: none. Bedside manner: unacceptable. A special acknowledgment goes to the "Practice Manager" for finalizing what was already set in motion. The approach to patient care, clinical judgment, and basic professionalism here is deeply lacking. There are far better providers in the area worthy of a patient's trust and investment.

The pain was still not controlled, and when I told the dr I was still in pain he started treating me like a drug seeker "we will not be giving you opioids tonight." Then when I got tired of his smart aleck attitude I asked him if he treated everyone this way. He just kept repeating "do you have any other questions?" Over and over. Then I'd ask him one and he would ask me "do you have any other questions?" I asked him why was he talking to me like a robot. I Then asked to speak to a patient advocate because I knew he was stereotyping me and refusing to treat my pain in an appropriate way. With a smirk on his face he said "it's the middle of the night on a Friday, no one's here but me." Then he walked out. His name was Dr (I use that title loosely) Jeffrey Mason. I will be contacting a patient advocate on Monday and reporting the way he degraded me. The charge nurse and all the other nurses there advocated for me but he wouldn't budge. It was weird. They saw the pain I was in. All he saw was what he wanted to see. People like HIM should not be Dr's.
