The nurse then asked me whether I had filled out my paperwork; nobody had mentioned that I needed to fill out paperwork ahead of time, not the DVS, the federal website for DOT physicals, nor the CVS website, so I didn't have paperwork. The nurse said that I had long paperwork I was supposed to fill out ahead of time, but she would see what she could do and I waited about ten minutes. The nurse then, at least, gave me the form I would have to fill out. She emphasized again that it was long, and said that they wouldn't be able to see me that day. The paperwork isn't long at all; there's only two pages for me to fill out that I could have easily completed while I waited. And as for not being able to see me later that day, maybe CVS shouldn't advertise walk-in appointments if that is not a possibility.

When I arrived, the woman working there was adamant that she could not do a physical, even though it was clearly listed as an option when booking. There should be absolutely no reason she couldn't at least check vitals, height, weight, and pulse--but she refused to do even that. It was a complete waste of my time and hers. If a clinic isn't able or willing to provide a service, it should not be offered as an option online. This level of miscommunication is unacceptable.

About a year later my neurologist from Mayo recommended that I should go to NDBC for both OT and PT. I have finally "graduated" from PT, but I continue to for weekly to OT because of damaged eyesight. I continue to improve for my eyes healing which also includes my wearing of prism glasses; both for reading and distance. I have had several therapists and they have ALL been so amazingly helpful.They each contributed to my overall healing in their own unique, brilliant and special way. Worked with "clinic lead" to schedule 4-5 more visits beginlng 2/6. Called to confirm 2/6 visit at the end of January. No visits could be found and the person who supposedly made the appointments had botched my first name, Treatment delayed a month. Lost income due the delay. Nope!
