I contacted High-Five on May 27, 2025, to inquire about getting some items printed. I uploaded my design and dropped off my clothing on May 29. From that point forward, it was a mess. Every time I called to check in, the person on the phone seemed completely confused about what I had dropped off. That alone made me nervous about whether my items would be printed correctly--or even returned at all. The owner told me, "It'll be ready by the end of next week." Two weeks passed--same response. A month later--still no update or progress. Finally, I called again today (July 29) and was told that the items still hadn't been printed, though suddenly they could be done by tomorrow. When I said I just wanted my clothing back since it had now been two full months, the owner argued with me and said, "It hasn't been two months." Honestly, that was the most frustrating part. A simple apology would've gone a long way. Instead, I was met with defensiveness. Also worth noting: the shop itself feels like a disorganized nightmare when you walk in, which matches the experience I had dealing with them. I had email receipts and documented dates and times for when I dropped everything off and followed up, so the timeline was never in question. I just picked up my items today, and thankfully, everything was accounted for. But I won't be coming back.

I didn't have my scale with me and thought it would be easier since I was already out to just go to UPS and have them weigh the package so that I could purchase the label though eBay since I already had it up on my phone just needed the weight. The employee at the store said " I can absolutely not allow you to use our $700 scale to weigh your package because we don't make any money that way." From my understanding UPS Stores are individually owned and have a right to allow or not allow services based on their discretion. Regardless of the fact that it was still being shipped through UPS and they are a UPS Store. Package ended up weighing 1lb10oz so it wasn't a large or extremely heavy package that would break their $700 scale.

I've even had small jobs completed before I got there, after a quick cross-town drive - that's fast! They use good paper, their equipment must be pretty dependable stuff that's well maintained, and someone must be monitoring quality. No errors. No crumpled up misfeeds. Consistent quality coverage with no weird banding. No registration problems. No inaccurate colors. No cracks on folds. No surprise price hikes or oddball "gotcha" fees. Their technicians never seem to have problems with artwork in a myriad of file formats (sometimes our clients send us Word docs, Power Point slides, really uncommon formats, or files from old versions of design software), or missing fonts. Ken's Quick Print offers good quality printing at fair prices for the neighborhood. They're a good shop, with good staff, and ought to be saved in the contacts list of every small business in the area.
