Drove by and saw they had a special and I thought why not? Staff is very knowledgeable, polite and patient. The drive thru line moved very fast on a busy Sunday afternoon. Had a cold brew type of coffee (they have lots of milk options for picky consumers), donuts and avocado toasts. The coffee was good. Disappointed by the avocado toasts tho very salty, and the kicker? They were poorly packaged. There was avocado on the boxes as seen in the pics and that ruined it for me. Donuts? Nothing to write home about. read more

Ever since I stumbled across Tim Hortons while leaving JFK Airport, I made a mental note to visit one when I got back home to Houston. This particular location did not disappoint. It's one of the few Tim Hortons inside the loop, which already makes it a win for convenience. The service was fast and friendly--thank you, Alejandro, at the register, for being so kind and polite. The space was bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with fun nods to both Canadian culture and Houston pride. I loved the playful wall art, from the giant red Tim cup towering over a city skyline to the boot-and-bull stamp mural that felt right at home in Texas. I used the app and was able to redeem a breakfast sandwich and iced coffee for free. Both hit the spot and gave me the energy I needed to kick off my Saturday errands. I've been craving Tim Hortons so much! Me being part Canadian, this place definitely hit my home roots. From the delicious coffee, to the selection of food and pastries, Tim Hortons is a great spot to hangout and grab a drink with your friends! Located convenintely off of Westheimer near Dunvale, Tim Hortons brings good Canadian coffee to the lovely U.S. of A. My go-to orders for the drinks are the vanilla iced coffee, or the original blend hot coffee with 2 cream and 2 sugar. Hands down some of the best I have had! Looking at the surrounding area, there is parking on both sides of the restaurant, with a two lane drive-thru. For parking, it's probably best to park in the back and walk it since there isn't too much on the sides. This place is super special to me because when they had their grand opening, they had a wheel to spin with great prizes! I managed to win Free Coffee for a Year, and I am so THANKFUL that I won that prize! Thank you to Tim Hortons for hosting a wonderful grand opening event! That made my day so much better! read more

First time at Tim Hortons . Coffee was fresh, hot, and had a good flavor to it. I don't know if it's the best I ever had but still good. The biscuit sandwich was not bad. Biscuit tasted soft and flaky which was my first observation. Not a bad quick bite to eat. Hash brown felt a little small , not too greasy and was a a little bland. I guess the big difference eating Tim Hortons I don't taste the high sodium (salt) taste right away. Which was nice. Driving in from rear of store and seeing two lanes had me concerned for wait time but there was only two cars ahead. Not bad at all. When I finally got my food there was already about 8 cars in back of me. I expect this place gets pretty busts All in all good quick bite for the mornings. Especially on the go. This location is about 20-25 min away from where I live. I will definitely be back but I don't think this will be my go too and go every day place. read more

We love the honey crullers from Tim Hortons and so glad there is one on Westheimer. Got my honeh crullers fix and it was $1.45 each which wasn't bad. They are moist and fluffy. Hubby got the Christmas tree which had Boston cream filling and saw it was good. The peppermint timbit was also good. I was looking forward to having a Tim Hortons nearby. I've tried it in Canada and remember it being less expensive than the mermaid coffee shop. I dropped in when I read online it was opening today. The staff were super nice. They are open 24 hours and serve the breakfast sandwiches all day too. They have ground coffee and mugs for sale. The donuts looked good but I wasn't hungry. I opted for a small latte. I didn't see brown sugar nor coffee stirrers though. They're probably working out the kinks. I hope they do well because other businesses in the corner haven't survived. read more

I've known that there was a Tim Hortons out in Katy but happy to see a location open up in the Westheimer area. Tim Hortons is a Canadian breakfast food franchise similar to Dunkin' Donuts. I'd have to say that I much prefer Tim Hortons' coffee and donuts. Their donuts are more moist and have a "cakey" dough. If it's your first time, I recommend starting out with a box of assorted Timbits. The best flavor is the birthday cake. The reason I keep coming back here though is for their original iced capp. I love the flavor of the cappuccino blend and even when the ice melts it doesn't last watered down. This location has a two-lane drive through. I've been here 5 times already and the service is still a bit inconsistent. Some days I'm in and out in less than 3 minutes and other days longer. They've been open less than a month so they're probably still working out a few kinks. Definitely stop by if you're interested in a quick but delicious breakfast. read more

We placed our orders and pulled to the window. The service was fast and friendly with a smile. We parked in the parking lot anxious to try our food. Hubs devoured the sandwich and hash brown in one bite. Lol. He gave it a 9/10. My iced latte was very good but nothing to write home about. The donuts however were good enough to write home about! Let's talk about the honey cruller shall we?! It is an absolute sin! It's that good! Described as a soft, and airy shaped glaze donut with a subtle honey flavor. It was absolutely delicious! Sweet but not too sweet. Had a flaky, slightly crispy edge. I'm so happy there were only two in the box because if there were more..... well you know the rest lol. For years I've heard that Tim Horton's is Canada's version of Dunkin' Donuts. Dunkin' Donuts sucks, so I never had any interest in trying Tim Horton's. Not to mention that Houston is home to Shipley's Donuts - the greatest donuts in the whole world. Shipley's also serves beignets, kolaches, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, strudels... all kinds of sweet pastries that will eventually kill you, but sure make your short life more enjoyable. And if that's not enough, Houston has weirdo donut places like Voodoo Donuts where you can get a fruity pebble cheesecake donut. There's also super-fancy donut joints like River Oaks Donuts, where you can get the most gourmet donuts of all time, or piping hot kolaches with Prasek's sausage! Houston is a donut town. Why would Tim Horton's enter this market that previously kicked the crap out of Krispy Kreme? There's a Dunkin two miles west that's been on life support since it opened six years ago. No idea. Doesn't make any sense. I kept driving past this new Tim Horton's that has opened up on Westheimer, east of Fondren. One morning I thought to myself, "why the hell not?" I made a u-turn and pulled into their small parking lot. Full size trucks don't fit well in their spaces. Clean store with friendly staff. I ordered a cup of their Original Blend coffee black and a chocolate dipped donut. The coffee tasted like pea soup. I hate pea soup. Awful. The donut was ok. Not good, not bad. Nothing to write home about. Two days later, a friend insisted we try Tim Horton's. This time I tried the cold brew vanilla cream concoction. It was ok. I sampled her orange tangerine chiller, or whatever it was called. Too sweet. Unnecessary. We tried the waffle egg sandwich with sausage, plain cake donut, chocolate iced donut, apple fritter, honey cruller, and an assortment of donut holes with the peppermint bark donut hole. Everything wast just a whole bunch of ok. Do Canadians say, "meh"? It was all meh. You're better off going to the Shipley's a half mile west of there. I liked the burritos here they have a beef sausage option instead of the normal pork sausage every other place has for breakfast items. The Canadian operation is trying to get a foothold in Houston, and that's great, however there is a problem. If a person goes online the restaurant chain evidently has no idea which service company, i.e. Grubhub, Seamless, or some of the others will be used nor can they look at an order that was entered and confirmed to their system. I just ran into this issue where one of the locations had no record of my order for customer pick-up even though it was confirmed, so about sixty dollars out the window. Also a CSR with Horton's confirmed that they were having issues with their online order systems. Just be aware of their current problems. read more

I had a great first visit here! The parking lot is huge (in the back). They have a slim alley of parking right by the drive thru but it's pretty dangerous backing in/out bc you're literally between the entrance of the place and the start of the drive thru line. I recommend parking in the back where it's bigger/safer. If you get the app they give you a bunch of vouchers for freebies/discounts and it tracks points for you to redeem later. I used my free medium drink (got the cold brew with vanilla which I got screwed over for bc the lady asked me if I wanted cold foam and I said yes but wasn't told it cost 50 cent extra). The drink otherwise tasted great and wasn't too sweet. I got the timbits mix for my family (they liked the birthday cake flavor the best). I got the breakfast croissant sandwich with sausage (yummy but the croissant ofc was not fall apart flaky but a little tougher). Overall great experience! The food/drinks were good and very affordable. Like the double drive thru option and mobile order counter if you don't want to wait in line for the main register inside. First time here. I needed a pit stop to pee and wanted to try out this place that replaced 7 Leaves Boba shop a while back. I like that they have all day breakfast burritos. Definitely business seem more busy than the old boba shop at this corner. There's a good amount of seating seating too with good AC in this crazy sweaty weather. The Solar Splash wad refreshing. It was just a bit small. Like a kids cup. But the burritos box was innovative and I love eating without holding food with bare hands. I went to the Tim Horton's on 8910 Westheimer Road and ordered a latte for myself and what I thought was simply oatmilk with cinnamon and sugar for my 4-year old. I drove away and tried his drink realizing it was actually coffee and went back asking for them to give me juice or something without coffee. the manager refused to accommodate me. I understand I made a mistake, but she was unwilling to give me another drink. She insisted I'd have to pay for it. Even something of lesser value. I know she's not required to accommodate my mistake, but I've been to Starbucks and other coffee spots that are so much more accommodating and understanding. I have no issue with the food, it was the service and lack of understanding that would keep me from going to that location again. read more

unfortunately, this was not a good experience as a first time customer. I ordered two drinks, both of which they got wrong. The drinks were supposed to be the same size, however, they seemingly gave me a small and a large. they took a *very* long time, which I could understand, as it is still the opening week. However, both of the drinks being wrong after them taking so long to make them is absurd honestly. It seems that none of the seven staff members who were working had any previous barista experience with the way that they were interacting with each other in attempting to make the drinks. when we arrived, we were the only person in the drive-through, and there was one person in store.
