I had the BEST experience with Suzie at the Folsom location! I had visited a few other bridal shops before and unfortunately had some less-than-pleasant experiences. I initially came in for the sample sale but didn't find my dress. Suzie asked if she could show me something outside of the sale, and although I didn't find "the one" that day, she scheduled another appointment with me--and that's when we found a dress that checked off every box I had envisioned! I wasn't able to have my friends with me when I first found the dress, and Suzie was so accommodating and let me come back to try it on for them before making my final decision. She was fun, personable, patient, and incredibly understanding with both me and my guests. She even made me feel completely comfortable when I had to pause to feed my newborn. Wedding dress shopping can already be stressful, and doing it while adjusting to a new postpartum body added another layer, but Suzie made the entire experience feel easy, comfortable, and fun. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel like other brides should know about my experience. I purchased my wedding dress from Miosa Bride because I thought it was a reputable place and I was hopeful for a good experience. I was told it would only take about two weeks to arrive. After I paid, I never received any updates. I eventually had to call them myself, only to find out that someone else had already purchased the dress and their inventory hadn't been updated. No one from the store reached out to let me know about the delay. I had to be the one to follow up every single time. I was then told my dress would arrive by mid-July. Mid-July came and went, so I called again. Then I was told it would be the end of July. At the end of July, their associate did end up reaching out and I was told the dress hadn't even shipped yet. Now it's August, and I'm being told it will be another 2-3 weeks. My wedding is in early October, and I should have already started alterations. Instead, I'm left wondering if my dress will even arrive in time. Even if it does, I'll likely have to rush alterations, which adds unnecessary stress during what should be an exciting time. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability. At no point did anyone proactively update me. Every update came because I called them. When I expressed my concerns, the only solution they offered was that they would "keep an eye on it." That's not reassuring when you're talking about a wedding dress that cost thousands of dollars. They said there was nothing they could do pointed to their delivery policy, which says delivery dates are subject to change. However, all sales are final, leaving me in an impossible situation. If I decided I needed to find another dress because of these delays, I would be out thousands of dollars with no recourse. I was also disappointed with the VIP appointment experience. I paid an additional $200 expecting something special. Instead, we were served Kirkland brand champagne and Ritz crackers, and there wasn't even enough seating for everyone I brought. Some of my guests had to stand for the entire appointment even though they said they could accommodate for up to 10 people. It certainly didn't feel like a premium experience worth the extra cost. I understand that shipping delays can happen, but poor communication, missed timelines, and a lack of meaningful solutions are within the store's control. Brides already have enough to worry about without having to chase down updates on one of the most important purchases of their wedding. I really hope my dress arrives in time, but based on my experience so far, I can't recommend Miosa Bride. read more

I want to start by saying our bridal stylist Kelsey, was wonderful. She was patient, attentive, and truly helped bring my vision to life. She pulled a variety of dresses, paid attention to what I liked and didn't like, and made the process feel exciting and personalized. After trying on multiple gowns, I found "the one," and it felt like such a special moment thanks to her. Where things completely fell apart was with the manager at the end of the appointment. After I selected my dress, I asked about purchasing the sample since I live in Boston and wanted to take it directly to my seamstress rather than deal with shipping back and forth. Kelsey was helpful and said she'd get pricing together, and mentioned there could also be discounts on jewelry if purchased that day. When we went to check out, the manager only addressed the earrings. When I asked about the discount, she made a strange comment ("Do you want a pearl missing?"), which felt awkward and dismissive. Then she simply stated the total and held out her hand for my card without ever acknowledging the dress. When I asked about the dress, she said, "Oh, I didn't know you wanted the dress." We were all completely shocked. I had just spent hours trying on gowns, narrowing it down, and clearly selecting one. For that moment to be dismissed so casually was incredibly off-putting and honestly ruined what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There was no celebration, no "this is your dress" moment, no photos nothing. The entire experience just... stopped. I had to explicitly ask her to walk me through pricing and purchasing, which she eventually did, quoting $2,500 and offering a split payment. I did end up purchasing the dress, but the energy of the entire day had already been completely deflated. To be candid, it felt like I was judged or deprioritized because I asked about buying the sample. That question had nothing to do with budget. I would have paid for the right dress regardless of price. It was about logistics, since I live across the country. Early on, I gave a rough number after being asked, but like many brides, I would have gone much higher (or lower) depending on how I felt in the dress. It's disappointing because Kelsey created such a positive, memorable experience, only for it to be undone in the final moments. The way the manager handled the situation was dismissive and lacked basic customer awareness. For such an emotional and important purchase, that matters. I've heard great things about the Sacramento location, but based on this experience, I would caution future brides. Especially if you're traveling or have unique circumstances to be very clear and advocate for yourself during the purchasing process. Unfortunately, due to the managers behavior I would say this location did not celebrate the moment or make it feel special. What should have been magical now feels flat and transactional. It's disappointing that such an important memory doesn't carry the feeling I had hoped to take with me after such an important decision. read more
