Let me first off start saying, I'm not from El Paso so I don't know the level of expertise of eyebrow threading is in this town. On average, in my hometown Houston, I pay any where from $7-$10 to get a decent job so when I saw that the price was $12, I figured that this place must as well be good. NEGATIVE. When I first walked in the ladies looked at me like was lost. They were not warm at all, nonetheless, I wanted to get my eyebrows done, so I ignored the feeling. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. I sat in the chair of the non-Indian woman I think she was from Eastern Europe by her accent. When my eyes were closed I could hear and feel her using the scissors more than she used the thread on my eyebrows and when she handed me the mirror, I felt like crying. I asked the other lady if she could fix it and she stated "If you don't like it, you don't have to pay and can leave." I have never been so insulted in my life from a threading salon. They assumed that I didn't want to pay when all I wanted was for someone with better hands to fix the situation. The Easter European lady went on to state that "I've been doing this for 5 years and never had a complaint." As if to put the blame back on me for trimming off half of my eyebrows. Now I have to rub castor oil on my eyebrows and hope that my eye brows grow back again. Bottom line, these people are rude and charge too much to do a shoddy job. read more

Don't let the hype get to you. Just moved to this city coming from LA where threading is popular. Really hard for me and my mom to find a threading place yet alone a good one. So read all the good reviews and seen that the guest have gave a 5 star to this place ummmmm. However the place is nice and clean didn't have to wait long got called after I seen my eye brows I was disappointed it looks like the end of my eye brow was chopped off! Asked the lady what happend? She said nothing! Just a shrug. So she charged me them it was my moms turn who got the same lady( wish I had got her name) bad choice! My mom is missing a chunk of hair in the middle of her eyebrow. How does that even happen? Idk anyway my mom told the lady "what happened to my hair?! Once again the lady said nothing and shrugged. My mom was really upset. But what can we do? All we can do is wait till our hair grows back. The lady charged my mom and keep looking at the receipt like where is her tip! Maybe she had an off day but now we got to walk around with these stupid looking eyebrows. I only rated one star because the lady didn't even say sorry or anything! Rude. If we go back will write another review one thing for sure will never get that lady. read more

Threading is still pretty new to El Paso and this place is a great way to introduce it to those looking for sharp looking brows in Chucotown. I went in the middle of the week shortly after Christmas and the place had very few customers. A Middle Eastern woman who didn't seem to speak much English was soon cleaning up my brows. She did a great job and was meticulous about shaping them just right. She missed only a couple of hairs, which was fine. For a mere $12 this was definitely worth it! Highly recommend. read more

With coming from Chicago where threading is pretty popular, it was a little difficult finding a place that did threading. So when I found Mira Beauty I had to give it a try. When I arrived there wasn't a wait and I was able to get my eyebrows done quickly compared to the people at the PX on post. i think the woman that did them did a great job and would highly recommend Mira Beauty and will be making Mira my new regular spot! read more

I've been coming here since 2015 . These Pat few times a lady did an amazing job and didn't take out too much hair like mostly other people. The only problem I had today was that there were 2 other new people and the girl that usually does them for me didn't do it this time. The new lady that did my eyebrows this time left them way too thin compared to all the other they've done it , it looks choppy in some parts of my eyebrow . I wasn't going to write this review but I still feel sad about it because I struggle so much to grow them out . I hope for a better experience next time .. read more

Great place. I was hesitant to try Mira due to some of the negative reviews but I'm so glad I did. The did exceptional work. There was a small wait but the receptionist had those of us waiting into the open artist chair quickly. Loved the work of the woman who helped me, she worked so fast but asked for the look I wanted before she started and ensured I was happy with her work. I no longer live in El Paso but will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in town. read more

This is the only place that gets my eyebrows right every single time. I don't even need to tell them anything. They are eyebrow gods. I have seen a few comments where they say the owner speaks down to women. I'm not going to say it's not true...but I do keep in mind that their culture is different. I do think that if it is approached or noted directly in person then maybe they will realize that to American Standards his demeanor toward women is not acceptable. Anyway, the owner always says hello to me and gives the tiniest smile that can easily be missed. Does that count for something? read more

I have been going to them for YEARS now and just love their results. I use to drive from the northeast side of town just to get my eyebrows done by Mira every two weeks. A few years ago I switched to Lana because Mira was gone for a few months at one point. Although Mira is GREAT, Lana does an amazing job. She takes her time and pays attention to detail. She makes sure your happy before you get out of her chair. She is the sweetest thing as well. read more

Went for a full face and neck threading the owner left a bunch of facial hair on my chin and neck. My upper lip didn't look like it was done at all.The amount they charge is not worth the job. They do what they want to do they don't ask what you want. read more

I have tried different places for threading and Mira is definitely the best. You don't have to put on a free show or deal with parking at the mall, and they are gentle and professional. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I don't like to be pressured to buy products while I am checking out. The owner, or at least I assume he is, a gentleman who is always there supervising, sells shampoos and jewelry and whatnot there. I guess maybe it's a personal thing but it bugs me when he tries to sell this or that thing that I NEED. Anyway other than that the service and results are great! read more

Just went in today. The girl that waxed my legs and gave me a Brazilian was really sweet. But she did a horrible job waxing my legs. My legs are all patchy and rough. It's the quality I get from shaving. Honestly, I'm extremely disappointed. I'm still going to have to shave my legs which is what I was trying to avoid by paying them to wax my legs. Save yourself $50 and don't wax with them. I don't even want to get started on the Brazilian. I was left all sticky and bloody and it looks like bruised. I'd post pictures but they're inappropriate. I'm honestly disappointed and they have left me in tears with how bad they did the job. read more

This place is great if you like eyebrows that are not symmetrical, not shaped nicely and if you don't like being asked what you like. The greeter was friendly and sent me to the older woman in the way back to get my eyebrows done. This was my second time with this lady. When I came the first time I told her I wanted to let my eyebrows grow in so keep them natural and not thin. She did great that time. Since she didn't speak to me I figured she remembered me and would do the same today. She literally only spoke when she said "hold it" in reference to me holding my eyelids tight. She left them set wide apart and one is noticeably way higher than the other. Also, the shape on my left one is hideous. The right one is way too thin but decently shaped. I understand brows are sisters, not twins but mine look like distance cousins at best. The only reason I have 2 stars is because she did great the first time and this place is nice and clean. If I go back I will ask for someone different and hopefully will be asked what I would like before they start. So, fellow yelpers, if you decided to try this place make sure you speak up and don't go with the lady in the back. read more
