I saw this small business (while looking for something else and stopped in) after a brief conservation with the owner, he said well we need first take a hearing test and let me see what your issue is. After a short time in the special booth he said he thought he could help me. After he programmed the nice small hearing aid put it in my ear and said now lets just talk and you tell me how it sounds. My wife on the other side of the room started talking and said to me "Now you can finally listen to me". No question I suddenly could hear a lot of things I had missed for years. Then the best part was when I went up front to pay. When she told me what the bill was I was shocked asking is that all?? I now have been back every year or so to have it checked and cleaned. They were awful, markedly inferior even to my 8 year old set than I hope to retire. Human voices were entirely muffled, unintelligble; background noise was intolerable. But then the worst was to come. A litany of lies. (Biggest lie was almost laughable. Their rep. saiid that given the package weight and its return destination (they are drop-shipped from Germany to make look precision made, rather than from China) shipping fee would exceed their $365 cost. Actual fact, to return them weighing 8 oz. would cost $10.50, including insurance. These people leech off of elderly people needing health aids,) After a series of a dozen email exchanges AccuHear refused to honor their refund agreement. Offered me up to 60% discount if I kept the damn things. But to me they're useless, even at no cost. And by the way, 30 days later I have since seen them since advertised for $49.00. She reviewed previous hearing aids and gave my mother a full exam. After she reviewed the whole examine and made sure my mother understood what was going on with her hearing (which was declining) She offered us a new innovated pair of hearing aids that are rechargeable, and connect with her phone. April did not rush us out once she fitted my mother with her new devices. She had so much patience, answered every question. April made an appointment for the next day to make sure the devices were working and fitting well. The following day we were late to our scheduled appointment, April went above beyond and stayed in the office and again patiently listened to my mothers concerns adjusted sound and fittings she did not rush. .
