Avoid this place at all costs. They are a scam company with heartless people. They are liars and are involved in deceptive advertising. To be clear, they gave me one price for the top level hearing aids. $ 7500 for both. I asked if that was the best price, I was told yes. Silvia at Camarillo CA store is a con lady. A week after, I got a call from their call center offering me 50% off the second aid and full price. The total would be $ 5500. I later confirmed this with Mary at Silvia the con lady's office. Next day I go in and Silvia the con lady tells me that I could get the third tier aids for $ 6500. I left pissed as they wasted my time. I got a call from Silvia the con lady who left a vm saying she made a mistake, I could get the top level for $ 5500. It should be known that Eargo offered me $ 500 off a pair of aids if I allow them to try some more options as they didn't work for me. Silvia the con lady said to me "Why didn't they give you the lower price to begin with? Most people who get aids are elderly. For them to get scammed like this, pay $ 7500 for the same aids I got for $ 5500 is sickening. Let's take advantage of the elderly, they are easier. Im sure this is their motto. They say they are looking for 50 people to test their products. It's a lie. You have to buy the aids before you can test them. This company is a scam. Purchase and service experience was great. Friendly and responsive staff. Great product. A little expensive but worth it for us as we had an amazing service experience when the ear buds stopped working after a year or more of use, we got free replacements under warranty which was great. read more

On April 17, 2019 after having problems with the Costco Hearing Aid Center, I tried Mircle-Ear at 20375 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino, Ca. I met with Aaron Gabrielsen, who gave me the full course sales pitch on what a wonderful product Mircle-Ear is and how knowable he is. So I went through the test and while Aaron say I need the Autoton Pro 3P BTE; Bty Size 13 for both ears at $1,995.00 each, but the company had a sale on for only $497.50 each within change for ear molds. So he placed them on order, but could not give me a delivery date. On April 24, 2019 I called for an update and was told by the lady clerk that they would call me when they came in. On May 13, 2019 they called and said Aaron would like to see me. But he had a auto accident and even though I was there on time there was another couple in front of me and indicated that he could not see me as he had to go to the Hospital for his left hand. And reschedule for May 14, 2019 at 9:30am. When I arrived, the office was closed with a sign on the door that there was a family emergency, so I left. Aaron later called me and sad I missed my appointment, that he was only 5 minutes late and I should have waited around. I returned that afternoon and he was still angry that I had not waited for him. I was so pissed off at his lack customer abuse that I told him to cancel the order. At which time he started talking down to me and belittling me for not having the knowledge of the fine art of Hearing Aids. So, I had to sign papers to get my month back, which he said would take 2 to 3 month as it had to clear with the main office, That franchise owners don't keep that kind of money in the office. I then called my bank and filed a dispute for the $995.00 payment. And May 29, 2019 I got an email from my bank that said they were still pursuing the dispute with Miracle-Ear and they have until 07/07/19 to get back to them. Aaron had no idea as to my background in electronics and engineering for major companies in the Bay Area so his criticism of my work history was derogatory as well as insulting. I visited Miracle Ear 6 months ago when my wife suggested we have our hearing tested. (I already knew that my hearing was poor since birth). Spencer, at the Cupertino office, is very professional and very good at making sure a customers needs are met. He is a real pleasure to work with. On my first visit, I was quite amazed at the testing and hearing aid programming process. Being an electrical engineer familiar with frequency response measurements during school, it was fascinating seeing the programmed response curve being overlaid on the measurement data. What is truly amazing is how natural the sound is. I almost forget that I am wearing them sometimes. read more

The time has come to write a YELP review about my personal experience with Miracle Ear, both in Cupertino and at a Corporate level. I've been patient with my so-called 'Miracle' hearing aids from the beginning (2013) however as time progressed I found my hearing was being impaired. Loud noises were excruciating, and talking close to a person's body resulted in the hearing aids screeching. Finally, because of a faulty design, when I was taking my glasses on and off during a photo shoot, one was dislodged and lost. I wasn't disturbed. Again, when in a grocery store with the loud music or announcements, I jerked the remaining one out of my ear, put it in my pocket, and lost it. I wasn't unhappy. In the meantime I contacted Cupertino asking that I get some kind of refund on my remaining outrageous bill. No help was forthcoming, calls ignored, until finally after I contacted Comenity bank, I was directed to Corporate, and on and on, with no satisfaction. They wore we down. In the meantime an organization called "Life Extension" came to my assistance with a supplement called 'N-Acetyl L-Cysteine 600 mg.' that was an anti oxitant defense, supporting hair cells and also supporting cochlea flow sense organ (sound sent to the brain. They said to Avoid Loud Noises! My GP said to wear ear plugs in grocery stores, which, after taking this supplement, improved my hearing to the point where I could get by without them, although there still was mild discomfort. I supplied Miracle Ear in Cupertino, CA with the written documentation, which was lengthy, from "Life Extension." There was little interest. How could there be, when Miracle Ear is out to sell a product, not to assist a potential buyer suffering from hearing problems in an alternative way. I'm sorry this matter could not be resolved and that I have to continue paying $128 a month until the end of 2017. I'm a senior citizen, 80 years old, getting wiser every year, and hopefully this YELP review will help some people find better, less costly ways to resolve their hearing issues. Before getting into the review itself, I should say I am very pleased with every aspect of Miracle Ear the company and the product, as well as my experience with the staff at the office -- they made the process simple, smooth, and easy, and the hearing aids I got are the best I've ever had. I'm 64 and now after all these years I feel I'm hearing better than when I was a teenager. No product is perfect, of course; however, these hearing aids are so much better than the product I bought 8 years ago, it's amazing -- they're really opening up new opportunities for having a better social life. I bought a pair of top-line hearing aids from the Miracle Ear office in Cupertino, CA. Before choosing this company I did a *lot* of research, and I called several local providers to get an appointment. Miracle Ear was the first and only one I went to, because they convinced me in one session that their hearing aid was the right one for me. I was helped by Aaron Gabrielson. Aaron made me feel comfortable and confident about the process from the very start. He asked some questions to find out about my needs, and did a hearing test right there on the spot as part of the first visit. The results were that I was suffering from significant hearing loss, and this matched the profile I obtained from my audiologist in the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Aaron answered all my questions and was extremely professional, patient, knowledgeable, and also very enjoyable to work with. I feel that he and Rachel really care about my needs and work hard to produce exceptional results for me. Over the follow-up visits (see below) I got to know them better and I really like them -- excellent professionals and warm people. The great thing about Miracle Ear is that they do not just sell you hearing aids and forget about you. Instead, they pretty much require you to come in for a series of follow up visits that start once you get your hearing aids, and during these visits Aaron fine-tuned the hearing aids to better match what my hearing loss requires. This is a process whereby your ears and brain get "retrained" to process all the new information that your ears hear. Aaron was always polite, respectful and very helpful. As with everything, there are some negatives as well. The most significant I'll mention is the price. The hearing aids I bought are the most expensive ones I've ever purchased. Very expensive. But once you consider everything I got, the value is exceptional -- I am now hearing much better than I've ever had, since being a teenager, the time my hearing loss started. The technology is really cutting edge and produces exceptional amplification of what you WANT to hear while suppressing background noises. And the follow-up program and periodic tuning, plus the gradual approach taken, is based on recognizing that people need some adjustment time, and most cannot tolerate the huge jump in what they hear all at once. I believe this approach results in much better results. I'll close by saying that I've been talking the ears off everyone who will listen (and some people that did not want to listen) about getting hearing aids and recommending the Cupertino office. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure my girlfriend and I had a great experience getting custom earplugs to keep our ears safe. From getting us coffee while we were getting fitted to showing us how to maintain our new earplugs Miracle Ear Center was helpful every step of the way. After receiving our earplugs they even included some cases and cleaning supplies. I'll be sure to come back here 50 years from now when I need some hearing aids. read more
