They will…read morerequire you to take audible tests for hearing, they do not disclose that requirement, force you to do it otherwise you can't see the doctor, and then charge you for it. I reached out to Ear Associates in May of 2026 to see a doctor for an ear infection. I booked my appointment for 5/29/26. Upon arriving to the doctor's office I was escorted into a room and a provider started running audible testing on me. I asked the provider to stop and expressed concern as i was coming in for an ear infection and thought I was to see a doctor. The provider said I was not allowed to see the doctor until they finished this audible tests. Upon booking of this appointment, no one disclosed anything in regards to a requirement for audible tests. Since i was in dire need to see a doctor, I begrudgingly proceeded. The audible testing lasted for 20-30 minutes. Then i finally got to see a doctor for my ear infection. Even the doctor expressed confusion as to why i was subjected to hearing tests just for an ear infection. The doctor's office agreed to waive the doctor's visit fees, however, I asked to be charged for the doctor's visit and to credit for the audible testing that was not disclosed and forced upon me. The office refused. Additionally, Jacqui Garcia whom was the last person i spoke to at this facility was extremely rude and unhelpful with any further path forward to resolving this issue. Extremely shady. They should be upfront about requiring these hearing tests ahead of seeing a doctor instead of forcing them upon you and refusing to credit it from the bill.

Instead of offering a heads up about the navigational problem, orgiving you a detailed set of directions for people coming from a northwesterly or northerly direction, they can claim a hundred points to the patient's zero, for they're going to collect $100 from your plastic if you're sandwiched between semis and can't make your appointment. I Purchased hearing aids from Camino ENT around 18 months ago for $7,000 which I considered to be…read morean outrageous price. Their claim was that they provide much better service, repair, warranty, etc. Their claim was BS. The hearing aid worked great for about a year and when they started acting weird I called to make an appointment for their great follow up service, they were booked out around 2 months. They contacted me a day or two before my appointment to reschedule, again another two months out. They rescheduled that appointment also. Ultimately it took over six months to ge an appointment. They performed some software updates and changes to the programming to see if that helped. It did not. So I called for another appointment. I called and left a message 5 times over 3 weeks before they finally called me back to schedule. Now they are sending my hearing aids back to the manufacturer for service and I received loaner hearing aids that are 3 or 4 generations back. Their top notch service, repair, and support, doesn't exist. Go to Costco and get a similar set of hearing aids for around 20% of the price.

My current aids were not really doing the job, even though they are less than a year old. I just wasn't happy with them. So, I went to see Dr. Miles. He provided me with a new pair of Oticons. They are FABULOUS! I don't understand the technology, but apparently it monitors all the sounds at about 100 times a second. Here's what it says on its website: "Powered by the Velox™ platform, the newest BrainHearing™ solution from Oticon employs an "open sound" approach to manage multiple speech and noise sources, even in complex listening situations. The company says the new OpenSound Navigator™ scans the environment 100 times per second to analyze and balance every sound individually. Environmental sounds are said to be accessible, but not disturbing. With this open sound experience, Oticon reports that it makes traditional directionality, designed to focus on the main sound in front and suppress background sounds, a thing of the past. Users can now focus on a conversation while staying attentive to people and things around them, and switch focus quickly and easily." Now again, I don't understand it all exactly, but the aids have been really working well. Oticon also has an app for the phone that makes it easy and unobtrusive to control the volume. You don't have to pick the ambient noise quality (e.g., car, restaurant, etc.) because it is doing that all automatically. At least that's what I think its doing. Great hearing aids! Or just me not reacting in time when exposed to places with speakers playing really loud music? These people are the exclusive specialists you should see if you have concerns with tinnitus of any kind. They will pull all of the important hearing tests and properly educate you about tinnitus so you won't believe stuff you see online. I now carry around ear plugs attached to my keys everywhere I go. I may not be able to control random loud sounds outside but I can control how I react. By putting on ear plugs the instant I know loud noises are coming, and living cautiously by not going to places where I know the noise/music is loud.

As I'm in the medical…read moreroom with the PA, I can clearly hear a VERY irritated office assistant yelling to others in the office that she can't find someone's medical records. The longer she searched the louder she got. It was so disruptive I had a hard time focusing on my appointment. The office is a fire hazard with all the paper scattered in piles everywhere. It's 2026 people. Who uses paper charting any more? No patient portal to check lab results and good luck getting a paper copy. I asked for the new Dr, Toram, to review my recent CT scan from the ER. I set up an appointment to review it with the PA only to be told they hadn't gotten the records from the hospital. WTH? They had 2 weeks to prepare for this visit. I have to call them every month to renew my prescription. Dr Toram went so far as to suggest the office likes it slow in the summer months so if I need anything it's best to be seen in the spring! Good luck calling the office without being hung up on. I can't express my dissatisfaction enough with this place. If I could leave a no star review I would.
