The reviews were good and the pics even better so I gave the owner a call and she assisted me promptly and understood my emergency cause I was going on vacation and had a vision in mind but the hair I had originally ordered wasn't gonna make it in time. First time purchasing bundles. My cousin highly recommend these bundles. When you arrive, it's a barber shop downstairs. The actual hair shop is located upstairs. I went upstairs and saw a hair salon and an area of an inside hair store. The owner was there doing someone's hair, but was very helpful with helping me pick out my bundles. She also took the time to answer all my questions since this was my first time. The quality of the raw virgin hair was really nice. I made my purchase easily. I purchased a curly wig from the establishment and I was guaranteed the (best hair in the bay) well after 2 weeks the hair started to get dry and all matted up. Too bad my experience with nothing like what I read about here on Yelp. The quality of the hair was great but the job she did on it was absolutely terrible! The part was orange, she clearly over processed it. And you could see the net. This is something I noticed the first day! We were told this would last 3 months but just after ONE week the hair completely fell apart. And the worst part is after we let her know she did not even offer to make things right. No accountability at all. I am really disappointed. EDIT: I just got off the phone with the business owner. This lady is extremely unprofessional. Instead of hearing me out she tried to talk over me and my lady. She would not listen to a single word we said. But instead of listening to us she just accused us of damaging the product. For the past 10 years this has been the only place but I have purchased my hair. I don't know if it's a new vendor or not but The last two times I purchased this hair it did not last. I gave a review before I put the hair in my head and then I bought again recently. The hair quality is horrible. It constantly sheds and tangles and the the ends are way thinner than the middle. And The hair lacks luster and shine once it's washed. My previous hair that I bought from her years ago was full from the west to the ends. I still have hair that I bought from her 8,6 &5 years ago That looks fabulous It started off as 28in And with all the coloring and styling it's out of good 20-18 inches now. But this new hair that she's had the past year and a half it's not it. Definitely not worth the deal. I recommended my best friend to buy a frontal from her as well and it was just a waste of her 200+ dollars as well. I keep one of the wigs I made on a mannequin in hopes that when I go to put it on it will bounce back but Every time I run my hands through this hair a couple of strands is coming out. Since then I have played around with my hair and color and now have a very very short hair cut that is dyed blonde which I absolutely love. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Save your money. I came here to get a custom lace front wig made. I came in with my own hair, 4 bundles worth. When I pulled out the hair, Nichelle originally tried to turn me down and say she couldn't use the hair. When I said I would pay extra, then she agreed. I made it clear to her I wanted the wig to be thick, not natural looking, Nichelle then proceeded to say it probably wouldn't be enough hair. So I bought another bundle from her line and added it in. I put down a deposit $225 and spent another $300 on an extra bundle and a frontal. They tell me it'll be done in a week. I come back a week later and Nichelle pulls out my wig, it already looks super thin. Then she shows me a bag and says "This is your leftover hair". Over half of the hair I had was inside of the bag! So I asked her to fix it and add more of the hair and at that point she said I was being rude and disrespectful. No I'm irritated because I've already spent $500 and owe another $300 today on top of that, I made it clear how I wanted it made, and I was already being let down. Any business woman should be able to fix any problem if the customer has an issue and not get mad at the customer. And if you don't know how to control your temper towards a paying customer, you shouldn't be in business. From that point on it was downhill. The frontal was 14 inches and not blended or layered at all to the other bundles of hair that were 30 inches! The frontal was also a COMPLETELY different color than the rest of the hair and it looked ridiculous. Shouldn't you color the hair to match? And this is the big part... when Nichelle "installed" the lace front she didn't glue anything down or put a wig cap but told me that the wig shouldn't come off at all. I'm new to lace fronts so I didn't know any better, I left happy. The SAME night I wrapped up the wig and woke up with the wig completely off. It fell off in my sleep...... the same night...... when Nichelle specifically told me the wig would not and should not come off at all. Why am I paying an extra amount for an install when it's not being glued down? I could've put on the wig myself and saved the money. Basically, since it fell off ON THE FIRST NIGHT, I tried to put it back on the next morning and it just came right back off when I ran my fingers through the wig, which I would've been able to do with no problem if the wig was glued down. I've never once worn the wig again. Honestly, it went straight to the trash, where it belonged. I'd also like to mention that I've tried to call multiple times since it's happened WITH NO ANSWER. Waste of over $800 and a waste of $1000 worth of hair that I could've used elsewhere. I'll never be coming back read more

After a horrible hiccup with scheduling they stayed late tonight ( the night before thanksgiving) to do my hair even though they had already been closed. My hair came out so bomb. I was looking for someone to do my hair for my and my husband's 25th anniversary vow renewal. I was referred to Miracles Hair Salon and began conversing with Nichelle more than 2 months before my event. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my hair styled for the event and, based on the style and the length of hair needed to achieve that style, she recommended making a human hair unit of a certain length for me, which she did. She told me the style I wanted was "a piece of cake". She did a good job on the unit itself. I wanted it a specific color, which she did a beautiful job of providing. For those two reasons, I give one star. I came in a week before my anniversary to get the unit installed, which went fine. However, the day of my event was a disaster. I showed up on time, at 8:00 a.m. Nichelle was 20 minutes late. Once she got started on me, she tightened the unit in the front, gelled it down, and sat me under a dryer for some crazy amount of time. She then flat-ironed the hair, lightly curled it, stuck some bobbie pins in the back, sprayed it, and asked her assistant to write up the invoice while she sent me out of her chair. I was in shock. My hair looked NOTHING like what I asked for; I don't know what the heck she did. When I told Nichelle the style looked nothing like the photo I showed her, she told me it was "just a picture", and that she had done her best. If the style wasn't something she could or was willing to do, all she had to do was tell me that, either when I first consulted with her or even as late as the date she did the install. I would have purchased the unit from her and had someone else style it. Ultimately, it was my fault for relying on her confidence and her reputation, instead of making an appointment to have a complete run-through of the hair style prior to my event, like I did for my makeup. To Nichelle's credit, she offered to refund the amount I paid for the style because I was unhappy. I'm not even sure why I paid for it in the first place, except I was truly in a state of shock at that moment. I looked like Chewbacca; I had hundreds of people coming to see me and my husband renew our vows, and at that point in time whether to pay or not pay was the least of my worries. I needed to get the disaster on my head fixed. My day was thrown off by more than two hours while my step-daughter, who is not a hair professional but very talented in so many areas, came to the rescue and did what the hair professional could not or would not do. Although my step-daughter's task was made harder by all of the gel and hairspray in the unit, she got it done and did a beautiful job. By the grace of God, our ceremony started on time. But I was deeply disturbed by Nichelle's cavalier attitude and by the fact that she said she could do something that, on the day I needed it, she either could not or chose not to do. I thought I had found a salon not only for my big day, but for good. Not so. I will find someone else to help me style and care for the unit I bought from Nichelle. I definitely will never be back to her shop after the near-disaster her establishment caused on my anniversary. read more
