This is the only place I ever purchase hair extensions from. The quality is unmatched, especially the blonde hair. I hate investing hundreds of dollars into hair that I have to toss out after wearing for a month or two. I always ordered my bundles from Her Imports online, until I realized they had a store nearby where I could get my hair the same day. I called and asked if they had what I was looking for in stock, which they did and pretty much always do. All of the staff there is so nice, they even remember my voice whenever I call. The office building is super nice, they have to buzz you in and they'll have an elevator waiting for you to get to your floor. Do not purchase hair from her imports I ordered four bundles 16 inch 18 and two 22s all were decent bundles except the 18. I emailed them to let them know when I tried combing my fingers through the 18 that the ends were not good. The customer rep had the audacity to tell me I couldn't get an exchange because the simple way I test my hair some straight hair btw would disrupt the pattern of STRAIGHT hair we all know it has no dog on pattern because its straight. After I told them how horrible their service is the raggity customer service rep comes up with another bs excuse. Buyer Beware: Customer service. One of the girls was really cool the other oe was kinda grumpy but they gave me an okay deal so that worked out until... I got home... Hair stank like corn chips once it got wet I definitely did not smell it until after it got wet. Assuming they coat the hair with something to lock in the stench. After washing the hair retained that smell. Could not do anything to get rid of it. Eventually I just got rid of the hair. Thank goodness I did not get the hair installed, I had made a wig out of it. Spent about 550 for smelly hair. The frontal I bought was really bad quality hair. The rest of the hair was really pretty...really good quality pretty curls...sad I had to toss it out. I just refuse to wear anything that smells. tip: bring a spray bottle with water in it. ask if you can spray it on the hair you plan on buying...if they let you. read more

I bought my hair earlier this month and have had my bundles in since November 11th. This is the WORST hair I have ever had. I've bought hair from beauty supply stores that have last me longer than this. The shedding is RIDICULOUS I have to clean my brush after I brush my four part section hair after every section! I straightened it with a heat protecting spray and only used heat up to 300 and the ends have became straggly, fried, stringy, it feels like wool. Over all my whole head of hair feels stiff. It doesn't move. It's gets so knotted and tangled I have to wash it just to brush it. This was my Christmas present to myself. I'm sitting here in tears bc I absolutely hate the hair. Ayeeee! It's been a month since purchasing my discount 16inch body wave bundles and lace closure from Her Imports. The shedding is minimal, and the quality is darn good. I had no interest in buying their highest tier of quality hair. The prices weren't at all unreasonable, but I planned to keep my hair in for only about 1-2 months. I don't quite remember what I paid for my bundles and closure, but I believe it was about 75 dollars! The closure itself is a bit small, but my awesome stylist was able to make it work. I'd encourage any and everyone to pay Her Importa a visit! The staff is quite lovely and chatty, and really work with you to meet your needs. One downside is that they take clients to see the hair in an office one at a time, so you might be in for a bit of a wait. That being said, the waiting room has tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. And super comfy chairs! It's worth the wait. read more

First, I absolutely loveeeeeeeee my hair extensions! I am the type to drop 300-1200 just on my hair. So I absolutely love the location. I just moved to California and I am soooooo happy I found this place. I needed a bundle to make a ponytail for a quick weekend style. The owner was super friendly, I told her my vision for my hair and she literally gave me exactly what I wanted. -I ended up getting a 16 inch, I believe the curl pattern was Mongolian curl. I may be wrong but I've never heard of the curls pattern before. So on first glance at the hair I was like ookkaay, I don't know about this. First off, I never get curly hair from any vendor. Second, the ends where kinda nappy and the hair was kinda stiff together if that makes any sense. But she ensured me once I combed it out, opened the bundle then the curls would fall and I would fall in love. Soo that right there sealed the deal. The least I could do is try.. (I mean I know I'm not the only one who has wasted money on "good hair") So I get home, open the bundle and smell the hair. Now if you know about hair then you know the real human hair, normally cuticle intact, good quality hair has a good smell. Like you know they took care of it. So that was a positive. Then I unraveled the bundle and the curls began to separate and fall instantly. I don't care what the hair pattern is, I do not put chemicals and products in my weave!!! Ever!! So I spritz the hair with purified water, combed it through and hung it up over night. This hair is all that and some! I wore it three days and I didn't have any shedding. At night I twisted it and secured the ends with a cloth hair band and covered it with my bonnet. It was all good. In the morning, I ran my fingers through and call it a day! I purchased my hair December 17, 2018 and I discussed the quality of the hair with the hair stylist and she assured me I am ordering premium hair top quality from the temple in India. It's unfortunate that I must type this email one month later. This is the worst hair I have ever purchased. After having the hair professionally installed, shampoo and the best conditioner I began to experience itching from the scalp and this funky smell from the hair. My son said Mom your hair stinks I immediately shampoo the hair again two days later after the install and the smell became so unbearable I had to pull the hair back off my face. On the 23rd of December I went back to Her Imports and explained the situation for the same stylist that sold me the hair to minimize the situation and her exact words to me were just maybe you need to see a dermatologist because that's internal. The stylist also mentioned some people can and can't tolerate the smell. Use tea tree oil and a water bottle with a little sea breeze. I also asked the stylist why was the hair shedding like poodle hair. After 10 shampoos the hair is still funky and I would like to know how do you get the funky smell out? My last question is as a sales person and professional stylist why they don't disclose the smell and the shedding of the hair after having it installed less than a week. My coworker and I is so disappointed in not just the hair but the service and unprofessionalism we received as well as she sent the hair back she purchased online and they charged a 50 dollar restocking fee. Ladies the hair isn't top quality and I advise everyone think twice before purchasing hair I am one month in and now I have to eat the cost of 270 for hair and 250 to have it installed and take it down. This hair has gone downhill within the past few years. The last time I was here I had to exchange my bundles because the end of them were friend and felt like discount bundles and I never buy those. I bought some hair online recently and when I received it the hair smelled AWFUL!!! So I decided to come in and exchange the bundles. They didn't have the ones I needed so the woman told me to call back Wednesday when they got their shipment to exchange them. Fast forward to today I was able to exchange the three bundles but not the closure because they "couldn't resell it." Well I can't wear it either! I don't understand why they offered to exchange all of the hair on Monday. I have been buying my hair from her imports since 2013. In my collection I have about 8 to 10 bundles :)! This is the only hair that I recommend to any of my friends or clients and they have the best quality for the best price I have seen! The best part about going into the store is that you get to see the hair! Feel it, smell it, match the color to your hair and choose which bundle you want! I have such a great relationship, in my opinion, with any manager that is at the Oakland store. Even if they don't remember me they act like they do but I'm sure they know who I am by this time lol! So I went here for some hair and got 4 bundles 30,28,26,24. First I was kind of thrown off that it was in a office space but it was set up really nice. The lady was so nice and helpful, she asked me if I was going to dye the hair and suggested on getting a lighter color so it could pull easier. I dont know if these ghetto hair companies is giving kick backs for stylists to push their stanky hair on unsuspecting new clients or whatThe hair had the worse corn chip smell. I texted back the stylist the next day stating this is the hair she recommended and it stank. I was so embarrassed I had a big event and couldnt take the hair out before I left. Why recommend hair that you know stank to high heaven? She cancelled my wash the bundles appointment and rescheduled for a date I was unavailable. I had to remove the doritos smelling hair in less than a week of getting it done. Thats why all salons and hair companies arent good. Ok so the only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because it is kinda true what most are saying about the attitude and lack of service. So with that said the hair is amazing. When I say this hair doesn't shed at all I mean not at all! It's crazy. The hair stays soft, smooth, doesn't tangle at all. Normally closures are made with worst hair possible but not this one so the closure is also prefect. Great great hair bundles I will just have to suck it up about The lack of service and getting into the actual store is a bit inconvenient as it's in a building that requires a security guard or escort of some sort to bring you there. First time I went the security guard told me to go on up to the floor that they are on I get there the doors closed and no one there to greet me or let me in so I had to take elevator back down let the security guard know that and have them call them again. read more

She doesn't know anything at all about hair and she was completely taken advantage of in the process of purchasing her hair here. I specifically sent her to purchase Brazilian Body Wave, 14 and 16 inch hair. She was sold something very cheap low quality, but paid quality price. The hair it self was really thin and stringy and nowhere near Brazilian Body Wave hair. I definitely see why nobody buys hair from her imports anymore. I remember when they were everybody's "go to" I will NEVER spend money with them again. I ordered 6 bundles of premium hair and they sent me discount bundles. They also always sent the wrong lengths!! The lady who works at the actual suit is so unprofessional and rude. I was talking to her about coming in to get my correct bundles I ordered, she told me I would have to wait u till next week so I canceled my hair appointment just to get my hair the next day. Idk how the hair suddenly appeared the next day. Always call ahead to see what they have in stock, they are always willing to work with you. The quality of hair is great even after being dyed multiple times. My only complaint was my closure was HORRIBLE.... it shedded drastically in the first 3 weeks and by 1 month I had several patches and they weren't willing to take it back. After contacting customer service I was able to explain how I purchased a 4X4 closure and received a 4X2 instead. I spoke with Maneka, and she emailed me a return label. I dropped the closure at the post office and the next day the correct closure was sent to me 2-day express via fed ex. It should be delivered tomorrow. Maneka was very helpful and gave great customer service even though I was a little upset at first. The bundles i received were true to length and after I co-washed them the curl pattern was beautiful and natural looking. There is no shedding so far but i haven't installed yet. Although the closure was the wrong size it was a good quality. It didn't have too many short hairs and was soft and easy to part. This is a late review but since I've been getting extensions HERIMPORTS has been the ONLY place i have purchased hair. I went in before Christmas to purchase 3 bundles of the Peruvian body wave. I went in and was greeted by a very pleasant woman who is also the manager. Very professional. I've purchased hair 3 times and each time the hair has lasted over a year! you have to know how to properly care for the hair. No tangling, minimal shedding and it feels amazing!
