Let me set the scene: I was planning on attending a funeral for my best friend which obviously is one of the saddest and most stressful things a person can go through. Vincent the floral wizard. I don't know what kind of floral Hogwarts he trained at, but this man waved his wand (and probably a few peonies) and made magic happen. Not only did he create the most stunning arrangements I've ever seen--which somehow perfectly captured both elegance and emotional chaos--but he also handled everything with the kind of care and compassion you usually only see in Pixar movies. If you're looking for a flower shop where your emotions will be respected, your floral dreams will be realized, and you might end up wanting to invite the staff to Thanksgiving dinner--this is the place. I had pre ordered for Valentine's Day with good time before when it came to the day of pick up they had told me my order didn't come in and they gave me the complete opposite of what I had ordered !! Bought flowers recently for a next day event, to ensure freshness of the flowers, and was very disappointed. When opening the flowers I found mold growing on stems, wilting, and browning to the actual flower. The petals were falling off. I was not able to exchange or call because it was past their operating hours and my event was first thing in the morning. What a great place if you are looking for all different events. I've been looking for corsage wrist bands locally and they had such a variety to choose from. Their fresh flowers are beautiful. We used Sequoia Florals for our wedding and had an amazing experience. They were able to find 99% of everything we were looking for and were extremely helpful when picking up. My husband said they took 40 mins going over all of the order with him and allowing to add or remove whatever he wanted. The price was definitely reasonable and worth getting the membership. I spent over $1,000 on flowers and supplies for an event. I came to purchase everything on a Thursday and our event was on Saturday. After the event, I had personal things I needed to attend to. I just called to see if I could return the floral foam rings since we did not use them. The person who answered the phone was completely rude and said they had a 48-hour return policy. I told her it would of been impossible to of returned the items 48 hours since our event was 2 days after I purchased the items and I had mandatory personal things I had to take care of. She said, "Well that is our return policy". I then said, "I appreciate your understanding" and she said, "Umhmm" and hung up. SUPER RUDE. Its really disappointing seeing how things have changed for the worse. New owners only seem to care about is ur $$, everything being way overpriced = cheap products . On the other hand, staff from front counter are very friendly and helpful! i asked for recommendations on what flowers and vases i should use for a "bohemian wedding" for my daughter in law. I used Sequoia Floral International for my recent wedding and they were spectacular. They made my wedding bouquet, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, chair decor, a garland for a wedding sign I had, as well as providing rose petals for my wedding aisle. They also were able to attach two photos to my wedding bouquet of my grandparents who are no longer with us. I even picked up extra bunches of florals from them and created some of my own small vases for around the venue. Everything they did looked absolutely beautiful, and the quality of the flowers was exceptional. I think the value for money was great as well. man. wholesale flowers are EXPEN$$$IVE, imo. I'm not sure what they're supposed to run as this was my first wholesale flower experience but come on. $5/stem for peonies?! WWHHHHAT?! I knew they were expensive, I did NOT know they were THAT expensive!! Overall the flower selection was awesome, but i'm still reeling from sticker shock. I thought they were supposed to be more affordable this way? didn't get that here. they had a beautiful assortment of flowers and all ranging prices pending on your needs. Sumi was so awesome to work with and our flowers were so beautiful and cool to boot! We wanted to have wildflowers that were both bright and soft at the same time. Sumi listened to us and helped us pick the perfect flowers, and still stay in budget. We dropped off the vases (assorted bottles and jars) and sort of crossed our fingers for how it would turn out. O.k., kids, This place has been here for a long time, and I have been a customer for YEARS! It has been a great place to go to in a pinch if you don't have the time to run down to the city for your floral needs. The only reason it lost a star is the fact that it opened to the public. We ordered more than 100 stems of forsythia for our wedding the first week of March. We were assured that forsythia was at its peak. Purchased flowers for a couple center pieces for a party, and ordered the sales persons recommended amount based on their expert opinion. Turns out their opinion is not one of a expert, and they ordered me over double what I needed. The flowers then died within a day, and to top everything off they double charged me on the deposit and refused to refund it.
