They told me they would send someone but then they cancelled my request without telling me (because they didn't have the needed truck after all). I had to call to find out. Had battery issues so I called AAA who then connected me to Miramar Towing. Mr. Ramon was sent out to help me and checked my battery and alternator. Both seemed to be ok and when I mentioned that something else maybe causing it not to start, he checked it out and solved the problem for me. Saved me from going to the mechanic and a few hundred dollars! He provided excellent full customer service and went up and beyond checking out my other issue. If I ever need help again, I am definitely calling on Miramar Towing and their employee Mr. Ramon. read more

While I was driving on Pomerado towards Poway, there was a white pick up truck from Miramar Towing. The driver, wearing a baseball hat with curly dark hair sticking out, made a wide illegal u-turn at Avenida Magnifica. The driver ended up blocking traffic because there were people waiting to make a right onto Pomerado from Avenida Magnifica. The driver appeared to be frustrated by this. Unfortunately, I was also trying to make a left from Pomerado onto Avenida Magnifica and was stuck blocking cross traffic due to the Miramar Towing driver. The driver appeared frustrated that I was honking as I was now in an unsafe position due to their illegal driving choices. Assuming the choices of this employee reflects the overall attitude of the company, I would not recommend. read more

Worst Towing ever! Called Triple A and they send this Towing company and they keep delaying their arrival. I was waiting for them for 2 hours and their dispatcher called me and said be tgeee in 6 minutes and after 15 minutes I caked them back and said they service me already. Apparently they service another person with the same car even it's not the location I told Triple A to go to. Do t use this towing you can't rely on them! read more

I read all of the past reviews and was quite surprised. I woke up to a flat tire and used the AAA app. AAA contacted Miramar Towing and Milad was sent to my residence. The estimated time of arrival was 59 min he was there in 30. Milad is a very skilled driver with both my vehicle and the tow truck itself. I rode with him on the truck and it was clean and had plenty of bottled water. I understand that most review were about the bad call operator, but I was able to bypass the operator by using AAA. I would highly recommend Milad at Miramar towing. He was a gentleman the whole time and made the experience so simple. My son's car broke down while on the 15 freeway, 2 exits away from Miramar towing. We called AAA and a call went out at 2:13. He was quoted a 50 min wait time. Then received a text for an additional 20 minutes. Then again, and AGAIN and AGAIN. At 450 he was picked up. 2.5 hours later. Now his phone is dead, his car battery is nearly dead, he has to pee and we are in the MIDDLE OF THE CITY (not a rural area). When I called, the dispatcher told me that they couldn't find him on the freeway (see attached picture AND they had his GPS) and that they left to go to other calls. He was on a FREEWAY, a dangerous and highly visible car. I'd give no stars if I could and tell the rude dispatcher to grow up. We have a case open with AAA for Miramar Towing and their incompetence. - edited to add that the driver was very kind to my son. I've changed two 2 stars because of it but I still wouldn't recommend if you are having an emergency. read more

I had a really disappointing experience with Miramar Towing, though I do want to acknowledge the driver himself was excellent. This tow was dispatched through AAA, and for over 45 minutes I kept being told "the driver is two minutes away." Eventually, I called Miramar Towing directly. The woman who answered the phone didn't even identify the business -- just said "hello" -- so I had to ask if I'd actually reached Miramar Towing. When I explained the situation, she repeated that the driver would be there in two minutes. I told her I'd already been told that many times and had been waiting nearly an hour. Instead of showing any understanding, she snapped at me and said, "I never told you that!" She was unapologetic, dismissive, and extremely rude -- not at all what you'd expect in a customer service role. On the other hand, when the driver finally arrived, he was courteous, professional, and very apologetic about the delay. He was the only bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience. The driver deserves 5 stars, but the company's customer service made the whole situation stressful and unprofessional. read more

This review is specifically regarding the lady who is responsible for answering phone calls. She was working today (August 23rd) and we contacted them at 4:48pm regarding a tow. My mom used AAA and kept getting misinformation regarding the arrival of the tow truck. She called Miramar Tow to inquire, and the person answered with only a "hello" like it's her own personal landline. She was rude and argumentative with my mom who had been waiting hours, when the ETA was 45ish minutes from AAA. Then she called the driver and yelled at him while my mom was in the tow truck. So unprofessional. The driver, on the other hand, was super friendly with my mom and apologetic. I hope that this is addressed at Miramar Towing. read more

These guys are great. Just had my Lotus Elise towed today. That car is not an easy tow. There were so many issues with my car, not the towing just my car mechanically. I called AAA to area he for my motorcycle to be towed from San Diego to LA county. The driver transported the bike with the kick stand down which resulted in a cracked crank case. The crankcase costs over $4,000 but isn't even being made anymore so my bike is totalled. 2009 Ducati 1198S with 2,400 miles wasted by a tow company that didn't know how to transport the bike safety. read more

Absolutely AWFUL experience with Miramar towing. The driver clearly had no prior experience and knowledge when it comes to BMW's. He additionally showed up without a tool box (apparently it was stolen out of his truck). I had to walk to Pottery Barn kids and ask for a screwdriver in order to install the new battery. What company shows up without a tool box? The installation itself was an absolute joke. The driver misplaced an important bolt and the battery didn't lay flush. Extremely hazardous. I had to take my car to a shop to have it installed correctly. The manager was extremely rude, "I'm done with this. You can just go through AAA...click."Horrible installation. Horrible customer service. It was such a shady experience that I actually thought I was scammed. Not the way you run a business by any means. read more
