We had multi-part delivery task involving scheduled delivery of new mattress, disassembly of our adjustable king bed (& its electronics), set up of our Thuma bed (sort of like putting together a puzzle), redelivery & set up of the adjustable bed at our daughter's house 10 mi away, disposal of her old king mattress. Whew!! It seemed like an overwhelming task. Miranda has the Saatva delivery contract, so I just asked them when they called to schedule our delivery. Sure! Scheduler put me in touch with one of the owners, who got back to me next morning with his recommended plan, est of time involved, and explained rates. They prorate by 1/4 hr. This isn't like calling your friends, renting a U-Haul, and dreading the job. You get a fair price, on-time arrival, and logistical wizardry! Highly recommended. read more

Will never use Cisco and his company again. They didnt wrap my very expensive TV, even though I asked them to and they told me they would. They broke my TV screen and Cisco swore up and down that they would resolve this issue and replace the TV...until he saw the cost of the TV! He reimbursed me the "difference" from the move to what I paid for the TV on BLACK FRIDAY at a major discount! Total garbage. I asked him to make up the difference in what I have to pay for the same TV because it's not the same cost anymore and he refused. I didnt hear from him for almost a week after they broke my TV and he assured me it would be "resolved quickly," two weeks later theres no resolution and still no refund issued. I have used this company for years, Cisco very much does not value long term partnerships. My family of five has used his company for the last ten years, we will be using a different company moving forward and do not recommend this company AT ALL. read more

We recently hired these guys for our move from San Tan to Mesa. Cisco came by for an estimate and right off the bat we can tell he puts his customers first. His quote is exactly what we paid for in the end. Moving is always stressful and hectic but the team did an AMAZING job. Mario and Justin's crew were hands down the best. They were extremely professional, courteous and made sure that our needs were always taken care of. We ran into a little snag with being able to move our stuff into the new house and these guys were so accommodating and tried to do everything they can to save US money. They were on time and they called before arrival, exactly like they said they would. And even more impressive was that they traveled through a horrible monsoon outburst to get from Phoenix to our home in Dewey, AZ to make our delivery. My husband and I had purchased a very expensive mattress and foundation and they took the utmost care in moving the pieces into our home, removing the protective outer coverings, and placing both the foundation and mattress exactly where we wanted them on our bed. They were the most personable and friendly movers we have ever dealt with in our 44 years of marriage! My only regret is that I forgot their names as I would like to be able to personally recognize them for their exceptional work. This moving company destroyed 2 of my big screen TVs and are now refusing to pay for the damages. They scratched up my wall and did not fix the damage. The owner was unprofessional dodging my calls and his receptionist seemed to provide me misleading information about his availability. He then proceeded to tell me that his staff did not follow their company process for the moving of my TVs and since that didn't happen that released his company from liability because they did not follow that process. He then proceeded to infer that I damaged my own TVs and it was an ethical issue and would not be covering my loss. He was rude and talked and yelled over me during our conversation that he dodged for 2 days. He said it was not a big deal, and no one died. Its been a week since my house was damaged and no one has fixed the damage done by this company to fix it. read more

We used this company to move last month. We called only a few days before our move (we like to live dangerously) and were pleased that they had the availability to accommodate our request. The owner himself came to the house for a quote and to explain the process. He was extremely professional and respectful and sent a quote and contract over promptly. He gave us his cell phone number and said to call him at any time during our move if we had questions or concerns. On moving day they provided two men and a very large truck. Terrible delivery service. Booked my delivery 2 weeks in advanced, asked for delivery to be after 10 am-5pm when booked. Day prior to delivery was informed by Melissa that because of another customer being moved, the only time open was 730 am or between 4-6 pm. Had told delivery service my family was driving in 2.5 hours to accept mattress at my new home prior to moving there and would be there from 4-6 pm. Driver John Jones did not arrive or call all day, and then called at 730 pm to inform us he had just finished the other job. Totally rude on the phone. Do not use. Terrible. Paid them to deliver a 6 piece couch. Ottoman got shipped damaged, got a new one sent. But then waited five months to get the ottoman "assembled". Turns out they had been putting the brackets on upside down. Finally got the ottoman, dirty without wheels put on. Had to go back and ask for wheels. They gave us wheels they had been rolling the damaged ottoman around in the warehouse unwrapped. But rather than saying hey we're pretending to offer a receiving and inspecting service, maybe we should deliver this piece we had sitting collecting dust and getting dirty in our warehouse. The owner came to our house to estimate job. He was very professional. We had been referred to the company by a business associate. I needed packing services for an upcoming move. Their truck roof came loose the day before and they hustled to rent another. No extra charge to us. And with just packing services it wasn't necessary but they have years of experience wanted all of their equip just in case. Two very polite workers came and rarely stopped. Got a big garage, garden shed and storage unit packed within Fours hours. Right on estimate. Hope that I don't move soon but they are who I would contact. read more

My wife and I bought some couches that were too big to fit through our door. We live in a second floor home. The only way these couches were going to make it in here was through the patio. I was really appreciative that Amber was able to schedule my pickup of my bed with only a few days notice. Overall the move itself was smooth and the two guys were very professional and efficient in getting things from point A to point B in a timely manner. After everything was done I paid for the majority of the invoice in cash and requested to pay the difference using a debit card over the phone, which I gladly provided while the drivers were still onsite. The company did NOT process the remaining balance the same day, but called the next business day (after the weekend) to say they could not get the payment to go thru. I promptly called them back and spoke to Amber who was friendly and asked to go over the complete breakdown of charges based on the time I clocked from start to finish. Amber transferred me to Michele who was the epitome of RUDE (cutting me off as I spoke, raising her voice, and condescending tone) simply for asking questions to get clarity. Wow! very disappointing, I wouldn't have given them my debit card info over the phone or called them back if I was trying to "get over" on them. I simply did not understand the charges as stated. Small businesses really need to vet their employees better because those individuals REPRESENT the whole company and brand. Michele definitely needs HELP with her people skills and better customer service training. I am glad to pay for any outstanding balances, but what I don't appreciate is the UNPROFESSIONALISM when trying to resolve an issue. read more

Miranda Moving Company- I would like to start off that this was the most disappointing service we have ever received. We want to go on notice as to the horrific experience this was working with your company. Firstly, when Cisco aka Fransico came out to give us an estimate, he went through the entire house and noted everything that was there. We did say that we would take some breakable items that were located in the dining room. It was also agreed upon that there would be some items to be dropped off at at our office. We had told Cisco that our previous move to this property took 2 trucks, 4 men and 11.5 hours. Also the previous moving company had the same type of obligation to move furniture to the office and from the office as well as the entire home. This was all conveyed to Miranda Moving Company (Cisco). Cisco stated that what we were asking "Would all be done for no more than $1700 but we will "shoot for $1500". Cisco also said "I quote for worst case scenario in case nothing is taken by the owners". At the time Cisco left this was the agreement made between all parties. When the men arrived at my home they were 1 hour late to begin with. They walked the home to see what they were facing and then started the move. The men were doing a good job in getting the furniture out of the house, but the problem seemed to arise with the packing of the truck. One of the men's comments was "Too many chiefs and not enough Indians" It took 5 hours to load two trucks with 6 men. The lead man then came to us and said "We are going to take these two trucks to your new home, empty one with the 6 men and then 3 men are going to go back to the old home to retrieve all the rest of the items that were left behind". At this time the lead man had asked us to mark the items we wanted taken. We stated all that was still left at the home. He said "OK" and had no problem with that arrangement. He proceeded to have all his men bring all items that were left in the home, into the great room so that he wouldn't forget anything. We all left the old home at 2:00pm. The movers did not arrive at the new home until 3:30pm or so. All 6 men unloaded the one truck by 4:30pm. By then the lead driver said they were going to head back up to the old home and pick up all of the remaining items at the home. He said it should take about an 1 hour to get up there in traffic and 1 1/2 hours to load. Then they would call to meet us at the office after they finished. We also instructed the men to shut the gate at the old home when leaving, they did not do that. The 3 men did not arrive to the guard gate at the old home until 6:20pm. The security guard had called us to ensure they were allowed to enter the gate. The remaining 3 men left at the new home, unloaded the one left behind truck until 9:30pm. At this time we (including the 3 left behind movers) all were wondering why the other drivers at the old home had not called yet to meet us at the office for drop off and pick up. When we called the 3 men, they said "We have another hour and a half to load". With this information, that means it took the men almost two hours to get to the old hosue....which if you MapQuest it takes 45mins and to drive. Also it took 3 men 3 hours to load one truck not including the other hour and a half to do go they said they had and the drive back. The 3 men unloading at the new house were unloading as fast as they could to avoid the rain that was pending. The one gentleman said "We will unload then set up all the furniture in the home afterwards". After unloading the truck but not before setting up the furniture in the home, the 3 men left behind decided it was best for them to go to the office for the pick up as the other 3 men were still loading at the old hosue. The one gentleman said "We will go pick up at the office, come back to the new house and unload the few things from the office and then set up". At 10:30pm we got a voice mail from the 3 men at the old house saying they were leaving there and they needed to talk to Cisco directly from this point on. After talking to Cisco, he said the second crew that was at the new house would NOT be going to the office for pick up and the other crew from old house would NOT be coming to the new house with the last load. He stated they would come back first thing the next morning. At this time we were under the impression that everything was removed from the old house and all that needed to be done was the drop off and pick up at the office and unloading of the truck. Also, Cisco, the owner assured us that he would be at the new house at this time of unloading to manage the rest of the move and he too felt the time gap from when the crew left new house at 4:30pm to when they finished at 10:30pm was suspicious. read more

My family recently moved across town. A good friend recommended Miranda Delivery Service. They arrived right on time. There were 4 men working our move. They were courteous and went right to work. They were very quick and handled all my furniture with care. After arriving at my new house we briefly went over where each room was and they placed (and set up) all my furniture and boxes appropriately. Everything arrived in perfect condition including my full length mirror. After the trucks were unloaded we walked the house and rearranged where some furniture was. It was a short distance move from my rental home to my newly purchased home ~8 miles away. Scheduled my appointment and Cisco arrived at my rental house on time and performed his walk thru in a very professional manner; his presentation actually sold me (assured me that his workers were full time workers with no criminal record and were fully vetted with a background check). He also quoted a very competitive price which actually made me a bit apprehensive. His movers contacted me 20 min prior to arrival and arrived 10 min early. They were friendly, receptive and VERY quick. The move took a total of 5 hours (my previous move took over 8 hours just 9 months prior). With the uncertainty of contractors/vendors in general its nice to have a solid company out there. read more

So, I attempted to use them a second time, and 2 days before the move, at 8 a.m. I was promised they could move me by Wednesday... 2 hours later I get a call saying they could not do it until 2 days AFTER I was to be out of the house. All the so called owner (Cisco) had was a list of excuses, even after reassuring me it would be done the day he "Promised" me. Left me having to find a mover that cost more for the last minute move. They next day, Cisco arrived with only one of his workers to unload the truck with the remaining items from the old house. This was not including the office drop off/pick up...only the items from the old house. After completion of unloading the truck only, Cisco presenting us with a bill for $1,700. At this time we realized that not all the items from the old house had arrived including lamps, mirrors, food, etc. Cisco said the crew LEFT THEM THERE. There was a very heated argument between Cisco and ourselves about this move and that we did not got what we were promised nor completion of the job he was hired to perform. We feel very strongly that we were taken advantage of. When we asked Cisco to finish the job he stated he would not do this as he has lost money during this job. As it was expressed to him that this was at no fault of ours and the job needed to be completed. Cisco was asked several times to leave the home and would not leave unless he got paid. We wrote him $1000 check as we felt this was fair because his crew did move us however did not complete the job. Cisco would not accept this and bullied us into giving him the rest of the money ($700) because he said there were only a few lamps left and some greenery at the old house. In good faith we paid the full amount even though he did not go to the office to drop off and pick up, we complied and finally Cisco left. Upon Cisco leaving, we went back to the old house and found that more than 3 car loads of items were left behind and all the food that was in the refrigerator and freezer was left out and had gone bad. At this time we got very upset because way more than what Cisco said was left behind and now all our food has gone bad. This being said, and after talking to our attorney we feel that we have not gotten the service we were promised. We had to hire other movers to finish the job. The loss is absorbent not so say the wear and tear on the nerves. Why the second crew was there for 6 hours and then decided to leave a huge portion of it is a mystery. Therefore, we have stopped payment on the second check for $700. The loss is more than that and again the job was not done correctly or completed. This is so uncalled for, unprofessional and out of line. This whole job was unprofessional on Miranda Moving Company's part. What seems to have happened is that Cisco underbid the job and just tried to recoup the loss by not finishing the job. He stated he brought out six men instead of four. That was not asked by us to do so. That was a business decision done on the part of Miranda Moving Company. It is unfortunate that this has turned into such a fiasco.....none to our doing. We have done nothing wrong but hired a moving company to perform services to move the home and that was not done. Also many mistakes were made by this company and this has been a horrible experience for all involved. Damages: * Top of urn broken and hidden in toy box * Damage on Desk * Picture with broken glass Items not completed that were asked by us: * Left wrapping on striped cabinet in game room * The arch and glass were not put back in china cabinet * Shelves in bookcase were not reinstalled * Rug not laid down in family room or patio * Patio a mess & no cushions placed on chairs * Left a $350 wooden bar stool outside in the rain * Wardrobe boxes and 3 regular boxes left outside in rain * $200 Leather bench was left outside in rain * High chair tray thrown in box with straw hats which are now crushed * Umbrellas thrown down * Took all kids bedding, porcelain dolls and 3 sets of personalized letter (names) that were handmade and threw it all in the crib. These were wrapped and backed in bottom drawer of dresser and they removed them for no reason at all. * Missing piece in mobile that was later found buried in another box * No chairs were blanket wrapped * Never set up guest house and did not move chest into bedroom as asked. Miranda was recommended by our realtor along with 2 others. Theirs was the least expensive estimate so we went with them. The move took much longer than estimated (primarily because the movers could not figure out how to reassemble the furniture they had taken apart) so it cost us almost 50% more than the estimate, We were not happy about it but there really wasn't much that we could do about it so we reluctantly paid. In addition, 2 weeks after the move we have continued to find MANY chips, scratches, etc.in our furniture that did not exist prior to the move. All in all, they were nice enough but I would not consider using them again. read more

Cisco Miranda is awesome. A few years ago, after my father died unexpectedly, we were left with a house full of large, beautiful pieces that my father had collected from all over the world. Cisco and his team helped us move it all into storage and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. They showed up on time, all the guys were happy and laughing through the entire, grueling day where they had to move very heavy pieces out of the house and then into the storage unit. Then at the beginning of the year I moved to Boston and I decided to try to move some of my father's pieces out here. I dreaded the process as I thought it was going to be stressful and difficult. I'm so glad I called Cisco first! I explained to him what I was trying to do and he told me exactly what to do and put me in touch with great people who could help me get all the pieces out here - Cisco does not move cross country. As part of this process I asked Cisco to remove the items I wanted to bring to Boston from the storage unit and deliver them to a trucking company who would ship them here. I wasn't even in Phoenix and told Cisco that I didn't have anyone who could meet him at the storage unit. I sent him pictures and descriptions of the pieces that I wanted and he made it happen with no problems. He went to pick up the keys for the storage unit from my mom's house, got all the pieces out that I needed and then delivered the keys back to my mom's house - all in less than 1/2 a day! It was such a relief to be able to leave such a big job in the hands of someone who I completely trust. Cisco called me after his guys moved everything out and told me that there was a chip in the glass top to one of the coffee tables. He took responsibility for it and is giving me a credit for the glass. I never would have known who chipped the glass if he waited until everything arrived here so I really appreciate his honesty.
