After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

That's the kind of neighborhood kindness you don't forget. The place itself is always clean, and the vibe is laid back and friendly. Folks here tend to look out for each other--like letting someone use the leftover minutes on a washer or dryer instead of wasting them. The machines work great if you use them the way they're meant to--just remember to give your loose articles an extra spin to make sure everything's fully dry. All in all, it feels like a real community laundromat where people are nice if you're nice. Can't ask for more than that.

And they checked off all of my necessities and wants. The machines were mold free, the facility was bug and roach free, the dryers worked and didn't eat a whole in my pockets to get my garments dry. That savings alone puts this place at high value to me. Although there's a dryer and washer I have my eye on that I wouldn't use again but that's typical washer soap opera stuff. Bonus: they don't have that rule where you can't do this or that like you can't just dry only or you can't wash pillows etc. As long as you're not damaging the machine and overloading it you're good to go And the staff although they are serious looking in the face, they are kind and willing to assist if asked & they will try to answer your request.
