I'm tired of being disrespected. They are the most unfriendly people. Today I came in with a load of clothes couldn't see who it was behind the counter, but they just yelled, phone number. No hello, no nothing. This time it was the young daughter, sad she doesn't know how to treat people either. There were some ladies who worked there, they fired By the way, that were very nice, sweat, accommodating, made you comfortable and want to come there. These folks, which I believe are actually the owners are horrible. They're far more expensive than ever at $4.49 to launder one shirt. Not dry clean. It's just not worth it anymore. I will have to do my own shirts. There's no reason to be that expensive and that unfriendly. You're not doing me a favor by doing my laundry at that price. read more

CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S You'd think I remember this by now but my internal errand clock wants me to keep driving out here just to be disappointed. The reason I keep coming back is because the ladies working the front are so sweet and friendly. Today we chatted about Blockbuster and how parents used to leave their kids there for a bit to roam around (ie get a break from parenting). Prices are more than fair and my dry cleaning always comes out perfect. The turnaround time is decent and more importantly it's a local joint. For them being located in Uptown, you honestly can say they have competitive prices. The woman at front desk has difficulty with software program used there to drop clothes off. Who wants a confrontation to drop off a couple of items. I decided after waiting it wasn't worth my time. Looking at other reviews (a year ago?) should have been a warning. The quality of the cleaning ruining clothes during their cleaning process.... read more

I love this little dry cleaning spot. Quick. Easy. Cheap. The lady who's always working when I walk in is so kind and always happy. Completely honest that they may not get out every stain. I've never had an issue with any stained anything I've brought in and I've dry cleaned a lot of dresses... Even though I've been to a of times I just realized they also dry clean down comforters!! Being a pet owner with spiteful pugs this is clutch. They take credit cards and even text you when your dry cleaning is ready! read more

Brought two large drapes in with some rain/water line across the bottom... really yellow. Picked them up two weeks later and found the marks still there, not even lighter. It took me about 15 minutes with some oxy and dawn and it was completely gone. It's like they didn't even try to treat the areas. I have to join in with the other reviewers. I dropped off a suite for my mother, and all the buttons except one were torn off in the process. No note or comment was made when I picked up the dry cleaning. And the rip-off of counting a dress as two items is ridiculous! read more

Booo! I'm taking away 2 stars!!!!! 1 star for the realization that $40 for 5 items is EXORBITANT, especially with the discovery of the $1.25 dry cleaning in Algiers. What!!! Ugh I know some people are selfish with their deals but c'monnnn couldn't that have been reviewed earlier??? I will, once I go. Second star taken for oxidizing and ruining one of the jet buttons on my 1940s driving coat, as well as a little tear on the buttonhole. Fail! I thought they would be taking care of my things, especially vintage things, for such a high price. Guess $$$ really doesn't reflect quality of service at all. I drop my shirt off on Monday of this week asking for it to be available Tuesday evening. Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 I went over there to be told by the smug young man in broken English that it would be available at 4:30. When I inquired as to why I wasn't told that he said I left too quickly for him to tell me. My question to them would be why in the hell do they ask for your telephone number I am not looking for a date so there be no other reason to call me with that number except to tell me hey you left too quick can't do it. Went back at 4:30 today of course it's not available and it won't be ready for 30 to 45 Minutes till the driver gets there. Since I'm leaving town at 7:15 in the morning that's not gonna be an option for me. I've had to cancel a family dinner because I have to wait around for my dry cleaning to show up so that my third trip over there may be successful. Yes, Dorothy Y., Marion's sucks! I trusted them with my husbands nice trousers, and they lost the waist button! My shirts? Big fat blue ink stain AFTER cleaning! Seems like someone had a pen in their hand while bagging my items, as the ink stain was BELOW MY WAIST!, and certainly could not have been caused by me. Besides sub standard service, excuses for poor cleaning, and a non existent manager/owner, the prices are high. One star is generous. read more

I don't know why this place had gotten so many bad reviews. They are always super nice when I go in and clothes are always done in a couple of days. They have a special five items for twenty dollars which isn't too bad. We have been taking our stuff there for over a year now and never had any problems! read more

The worst customer service ever! Lost two pair of pants on different occasions. Only good thing is they did pay me for the pants and thankfully the store still had them so I could buy them again. But what a hassle to get the money from them on a timely manner. The real kicker is they shrunk a formal dress and blamed it on the material when it says "dry clean" on instructions and refuse to pay me for the dress! They also lost and damaged items for two of my friends who stopped going to this cleaners long ago. I should have done the same. Here's to another lost customer. Save yourself the headache and hassle and go to Toy Cleaners off St Charles.... Way better service and personnel. read more

Marion's isn't straight-up awful. Their hours are better than a another shop closer to my house (who closes at 4:30?), their turnaround time is usually two days, and the staff are pretty friendly. They even called once about being concerned there may have been leather on a jacket I dropped off (leather and dry cleaning don't mix). AND there's a PJ's like two doors down. I haven't logged their rates against other dry cleaners in the area, but their prices are not so outrageous that I've ever complained about it. read more

Beware! They ruined two of my skirts. When I brought this to the clerks attention, she just told me that they weren't responsible for damages and shrugged. The hem was out in both of the skirts and they were covered in white splotches.
