    Delicious!

We are so excited to have a Korean BBQ restaurant in Columbia. We ordered Meat Combo 1 and it was plenty of food for the 2 of us. They will cook the food for you. If you are a pro like me, you can let them know that you can cook it yourself lol Galbi was so good! Doenjang Jjigae and steamed egg were a perfect combination with the meal. Side dishes were great. Pickled radish was on spot. We will definitely come back for sure!

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened and it's become one of our favorite spots. We've tried many dishes on the menu but I'll name a few: Chicken Katsu and Tonkatsu (I believe they list these as appetizers, but seriously, these could be served as a lunch meal on their own) Korean Fried Chicken, Dumplings, Stone Pot Bibimbap, Yaki Udon, Galbi Tang, Jjambbong (so good!), Seafood Hot Pot, Fried Rice (always fresh) and their amazing Seafood Pancake that's crispy on the outside and full of fresh seafood. Their Tangsuyug (sweet and sour pork) arrives crispy and hot, with a light, crunchy batter and a sweet, tangy, and never too heavy sauce. It's one of those dishes that disappears fast at our table. Their BBQ Combo E is a must if you're hungry and have a party of 3 or more. My husband and I have ordered combos knowing that we will take at least half home as left over for the following day. It comes with brisket, ribeye, pork belly, spicy pork, marinated short ribs, and more. Everything is well-seasoned and grilled just right, and the soybean soup and side dishes, like their kimchi, are always delicious (맛있는!) We've also had their sushi and sashimi a few times, super fresh and nicely presented. We usually order Korean beer and soju with our meal, and it's one of the first places we take friends and family when they come visit. The food is consistently great, the owner and staff are always responsive, friendly and kind, and we always leave happy. Highly recommend! I'm adding some pics and videos to this review, but assume that these are incomplete servings because I have a tendency of remembering to take the pictures after we've already started eating!

Good Korean foods! Located at corner of a mall. Staffs are nice and professional. Will come back for more.

Amazing food!! I love Korean bb-q and this place went beyond my expectations. If you haven't been to Korean bbq you are in for a treat as you sit down and have delicious meat cook in front of you at your table. The sides are amazing, we had 3 refills of the kimchi and ordered the combo #1 with an additional spicy pork. Don't forget to finish your meal with some hot barley tea. They also have private dinning rooms for special celebrations. The staff was warm, friendly and great to chat with when they are cooking the meat.

Relatively new Korean BBQ restaurant that serves fantastic Korean food. You have an unlimited menu option that is very favorably priced. Definitely check this place out.

My boyfriend & I had a great experience. It was our first time trying Korean food. Our server explained everything to us as she cooked the food. Service was 10/10!! We went around 3pm and the restaurant was empty, as we were leaving more people were coming in which made us happy to see. The server mentioned that people come in, look at the menu then leave. GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE! I promise it is worth trying something new.

This place deserves 10 stars! As someone who used to live in Korea, I've been searching for great Korean barbecue south of Nashville. My experience was incredible, and Yun Choo, the owner and chef, is fantastic. I can't wait to bring my friends here. Check it out before it gets too busy! Had 삼겹살, 떡볶이 and 차돌박이! 매우 맛있다!!

Please go give this place a chance! The food was incredible, my husband (is Korean) and I moved from LA about a year ago and were bummed on Spring Hill lacking in good authentic Korean food, it's a hike to the Nashville area. But THIS PLACE was so AMAZING. We even got extra for lunch tomorrow to bring with us to work. Definitely 12/10, Christine was so kind and helpful. We were pretty much the only ones there but it was closer to closing. I have a few pics of some of the food we got but we also had sushi at the beginning that was the best I've had since moving here.

Salad, beef brisket, garlic, rice, radish, kimchi, pork shoulder, cucumber, jalapeños, tteokbokki (rice cake dish)

The owner Yun Choo was amazing! He's a chef with years of experience and it showed in the food he served and cooked for us! This is a new restaurant and I think we will be coming back regularly. We got the pork shoulder and beef brisket bbq... so delicious. If you are in the Columbia area you should definitely give this place a try.

The restaurant itself was very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The Jeyuk Bokkeum (Spicy Pork) and Bulgogi were beautifully presented and full of flavor. We also ordered the Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong, and both portions were very generous. The Jjamppong was especially impressive, loaded with crab, clams, mussels, and other seafood. It was incredibly flavorful and one of the best I've had. The side dishes were delicious, and when we asked for a refill, they brought us plenty without hesitation. That kind of hospitality really stood out. The owner and all of the staff were warm, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. When we got there, the waitress was initially confused and thought they didn't have it available, but she quickly rechecked after we mentioned it was why we came and they made it happen for us - and I'm so glad they did. The short ribs were stewed to perfection: fall-off-the-bone tender. The sauce had pineapple which gave some unexpected sweetness but overall satisfied our craving! We also ordered the following dishes: -Jjajangmyeon: we all enjoyed these chewy noodles with black bean paste. -bulgogi fried rice: a forgettable dish but scratches the itch if you're in the mood for fried rice. I packed some leftovers for lunch and added a large squirt of sriracha to the top to spice it up. Cheeseling korean fried chicken wings: I'd come back for these wings over and over again. So crispy and juicy with every bite. The cheese powder was a unique flavor and I loved the savory dipping sauce it comes with. -banchan: solid kimchi and daikon, but we were thrown off by the mac salad. Overall i wish this place had a little more spice in the dishes or at least had a bottle of gochujang that I could add in to my liking at the table. We will come back to see what all the hype is about for the BBQ.

Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience turned into a very uncomfortable one. The gentleman who took our order was extremely rude from the start and made us feel unwelcome and clearly unwilling to respond to our questions about the menu. We initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might be a cultural misunderstanding. However, things only got worse. After we sat down, he never brought us water while consistently serving other tables. At one point, he even prepared a full table setting--with water and food--for a reservation that hadn't yet arrived, while we continued to sit there unattended. After nearly 30 minutes of awkward waiting, we were finally given water. What made the situation more concerning was the clear difference in how we(Caucasian Americans) were treated compared to other customers. He was warm, kind, and engaging with others--particularly those who appeared to share his background--but would not acknowledge or engage with us at all. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that I made the decision to leave for the sake of my daughters. As a father, it was clear they felt unwelcome, and that was not something I was willing to tolerate. I left without asking for a refund due to what seemed to be hostility. We've had many wonderful experiences at Asian restaurants, but our experience at Daylight Sushi was deeply disappointing. We did not feel welcomed, and unfortunately, we were treated in a way that made that very clear. Wish this was not the case and hopefully this was a major misunderstanding!

If you are unfamiliar with this chain, think Chipotle for pasta, but it is not made in front of you. They have a bit of prepared pastas, but you can also create your own. Noodles and Company is a quick serve spot that serves purpose when the regular rotation of week night dinners runs a bit stale. The location itself needs some TLC as it is worn from ripped and torn seating, cabinet doors falling off of the drink station, stained ceiling tiles and dirty floors. The place needs some conditional love. Cleanliness was decent throughout with the exception of filthy entry windows and doors. Food wise I went with the Pesto Cavatappi and a side of garlic bread to go. Portions could be a bit larger, but that is why I added the garlic cheese bread. Pasta's are priced as is then there is an additional charge for protein. Your average pasta with protein will run you around $12. I enjoyed the pesto pasta and the chicken was lightly breaded and portioned well for the pasta. The garlic bread was a bit soggy and the cheese came off with one bite, and not in the cool "cheese pull" kind of way. Service was "meh". They were on their phones watching videos loudly while customers waited to be noticed at the counter. Overall, Noodles and Company is just okay. Definitely has potential to be added to a quick and easy weeknight dinner rotation, but they need to make a few adjustments.
