    Nachos Carnitas.
    Ron Y.

I'm from California, was surprised no menudo or pozole on Saturday and Sunday but the food and service is excellent. Had fajitas, dish called Especial Camino Real, had chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, beef ribs along with rice, beans, and flour tortillas, pretty darn good, the wife had carnitas nachos. Will certainly be back.

The decor in the restaurant is nice and well thought out. It was raining when I was there, but they do have outdoor seating. Service was friendly and efficient. It was extremely cold inside though. I'd guess 60-62. I normally sleep at 67 and it was much colder than that inside. The food was mostly really good. The chips were a little too crisp and didn't have a lot of flavor. The tomatillo salsa was house made, super spicy, and very flavorful. The queso wasn't too runny, and the regular salsa tasted good as well. I got the quesadilla rellena with ground beef. It was smaller than I expected, but I was still plenty stuffed afterwards! It came with rice, lettuce, guacamole, and a full slice of tomato. I requested no beans. Overall, solid 4 stars. I'll be back.

Ok! A molcajete is by far one of my most favorite dishes so i was excited to see a new restaurant by the same name. I was not disappointed. The ones here are huge and definitely enough to share. Delicious. I also love a good poblano. What most places call a chile relleno. We had a couple with the molcajete. They were good but pretty standard. As good as the food was, the best part was the service. Rebecca was an absolute delight. Super helpful with my keto requirements and even brought me a taste of all their sauces so I could pick what worked best. We were pretty impressed and will be back. Probably a lot.

Pollo Taleco. Chicken chorizo and cheese

Maybe it is the 2 margareitas speaking but it was all awesome! I had the Pollo Taleco I think. Chicken w chorizo and queso sauce. OMG i am in love. The chorizo was cooked crunchy and was so good with the queso. Every one else had great food as well. Well cooked and flavorful, and of course the margareitas were awesome, but beware of the large ones, you could take a bath in one :-. The service was great and the waitress was super helpful and attentive. Overall a great experience.

Similar to other reviews I can hear expecting mid tier service and food. However I was pleasantly surprised by the good service and excellent food. The salsa they give you is delicious a bit on the spicier side but I enjoyed. The guacamole casero was fresh and tasty. The birria tacos were delicious and my wife loved her enchiladas. I would definitely come back. Really enjoyed our first experience.

This visit was awesome. The family came out and we just had the best service. Our server was attentive, delightful, and was friendly. We had enchiladas, cheese dip, birria tacos, tacos el garbado (shrimp tacos), steak tacos, jamaica, and much more. The restaurant was bustling with patrons, clean, not too noisy, and overall just great. We love this place and will be back.

The staff here is great, and the food is terrific. The birria is probably some of the best food I've ever had.

Just two of them on this visit. Secondly, unless you come here on a weekly basis, you won't get a hint of attention. Other reviews mention the same horrible service to anyone who doesn't visit this place regularly. You will be completely ignored. This evening the dining area was nearly empty yet we sat for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. The mixed drinks are good, fear not. Then we sat for 35 minutes before we were able to attract the attention of a server, after several failed attempts. The board is good and hearty as is the spinach dip. The problem here lies in the subpar service, again and again and again. We really try to refrain from giving local establishments negative reviews, but the sheer lack of attention to anyone not hovering around the bar is ridiculous. At one point I walked to the bar to try to get the attention of our server and it still failed. They never checked on us. Never asked if we wanted a refill of water and didn't ask us if we wanted a second drink until we had to track down our bill. The final insult was the server asking my wife and I who were huddled up close on the same side of the table, if we wanted one check or two. Ugh.
