I called and checked on 3 other dental offices before choosing this one. My husband and I have horror stories about other dental offices that acted like a car dealership than a medical office. Dr. Dhawan is more involved with her patients than any other dentist I've seen, and she works with you to in terms of insurance and pacing your care that works best for you without compromising your health. I love that she can do everything from cleaning to root canals/implants in one office, and she doesn't gouge her patients. It's so nice to have a doctor that treats you like a person and not a cash cow.

Hello - I just left Jefferson Dental at Lake June/Masters. What a horrible experience! I had a 10am…read moreappointment, when I arrived I told them I was there to see if I'm a fit for dental implants, the young lady advised that after x-rays and dental hygienist review the dentist would let me know if I'm a fit. She pulled up my insurance information, mind you I have my own dentist and was there specifically to discuss Dental implants. The hygienist and X-ray tech were amazing and I was thinking I might move my family family over to this location. NOT!!!! When I spoke to the dentist she did her assessment and advised she couldn't advise if I was a fit but would have to refer me. Totally not what the front desk clerk had told me. I let the dentist know that was not what the front desk clerk told me. Immediately I knew that just wanted my $$$, the dentist told me she would be right back with the referral to another Jefferson Clinic. I proceeded to let her know that I felt misled to go thru all this only to be told they couldn't provide an assessment as to whether I'd be a fit. I ask her " You do understand my frustration right?" She said yes! Well she said give me a few moments and come back with the referral, I never saw her again. After waiting almost 30 minutes I ask someone that was working there to take the dental bib off me and I was leaving. I work for a large Bank in HR, I was livid!!! Well that person led me back to the person that told me the dentist would be able to tell me if I'm a fit for implants. I politely told her thanks for wasting my time and its okay that you charged my insurance for the X-rays etc. Zero customer service!!!! Zero! No apology just a F off look as I walked out the door. You can't make this stuff up. To think I was that close to bringing my whole family over to Jefferson Dental (4 people total) and they lost that business. Jefferson Dental, you were paid on my visit but you lost a whole family and potential referrals due to service and misleading me. This is a direct reflection on the LEADERSHIP at this location, when you make it about money and miss taking care of your clients this will happen. I felt taken advantage of and I would not recommend this location to my friends or family members. Again, the X-ray tech and dental hygienist were great, but the front desk and response or lack there of is why I won't recommend Jefferson Dental Lake June.

I logged in early Sunday morning and had 5 time slots to choose from for the emergency appointment, to include the very first of the morning! The Process: (For those of you who want to know what you're walking into, are on the fence about going back to the dentist after bad situations, or are a bored voyeur looking for a glimpse of a random Yelper's experience.) I entered into a very clean, comfortable, and welcoming waiting room I was promptly greeted by the receptionist, Crystal, and the office manager, Kelly. Crystal handed me the new patient forms. Kelly, Crystal and I chatted while I filled out the paperwork. They treated me more like a family member than just a client. Denise took me to the room and I put down my belongings. She lead me to a state of the art x-ray machine and took the first set of x-rays. Another set of x-rays were taken. She offered me water before the doctor came in. She, too, was very friendly and was good conversation. Dr. Haghi came in and we discussed the results of the treatment options and settled on a treatment plan. She listened to my concerns and didn't (like every dentist I've been to before) talk down to me or demand I do what she said because she was the expert. Crystal came back and discussed my treatment plan and the associated costs. She explained that I could apply for CareCredit (if my credit was good enough) and we discussed the different ways the payments could be broken up. I needed a deep cleaning and she allowed me to choose whether or not to break it up into two appointments or get it over with in one. I was grateful to have the option to get it over with in one pop. Denise came in and put a small mask over my nose to administer the nitrous oxide and gave me a blanket. (I don't care how old I get; if you offer me the comfort of a blanket, I will take it!) Kevin, the hygienist, was very attentive during the deep cleaning and was very careful not to hurt me. He allowed me breaks for enough time to cough (I'm a mouth breather who clearly thinks I'm part fish and that I'll do okay aspirating water. That folks, is 100% my fault and 0% Kevin's fault.) After the cleaning, he took more x-rays and showed me that he actually did get all the gunk out from under the gum line. He scheduled me for my free one month follow up, gave me my "goody bag" of dental items, educated me on how to better maintain my mouth at home, and suggested products that are conveniently sold there at the office for a very fair price. I opted to get a tooth extracted. Denise assisted Dr. Haghi in the process. I think the shots to help numb the area were worse than getting the tooth pulled. The tooth extraction took about five minutes. The doctor consulted me on what I normally take for pain; wrote a prescription for mouthwash, antibiotics, and my pain medication. Denise administered oxygen for five and I chilled out to the streaming music in the office. I went up front and paid. My ride hadn't gotten there. So I had a chat with Crystal and Kelly until my ride showed.
