You should reach out to the reviewer before you effect a business owner in a negative way. AND AGAIN: Every once in a while you make a decision on blind faith and it pays off BIG TIME. We rescued a 12 week old puppy from Texas and quickly learned we needed pro help as we haven't been puppy parents for 20 years and this little girl was a nutjob and may have been heading down a bad path behavior wise. Kristin got right back to me after my initial web page inquiry. When she arrived, she was relaxed and professional and her kind, caring, genuine personality was obvious from the start. She CARES about our furbaby. Her training skills were so effective even from the initial consultation that this little pup was learning: come,sit,shake and down (heel) and most important to us was her going in her crate when asked as this is something we really want her to master and be comfortable with. Kristin made it known that our role is crucial in her training and gave us handouts for our homework and skills to be met. By the second session, our pupper was learning: "touch" (snoot boops), learning to jump into her bed and "leave it" (biting stuff) and stay. We are able to redirect the evening zoomy/crazy time with physical and mental workouts for her that is good for all of us. The entire time during these sessions, Kristin is upbeat, fun and it really feels like we've known her forever. We trust her to do the best thing for all of us. I'm so happy we connected with her. We brought Baci Blu home at eight weeks old, and we have been amazed by how sweet, confident, curious, and intelligent she is. We have only had Baci for four days, and she is already settling beautifully into her new life. She is sleeping well in her crate, exploring new places with confidence, and becoming completely comfortable in our home. She has already learned come, sit, down, and roll, and is working on a wave. We are amazed by how quickly she learns. What has impressed us most is the foundation Anne gave her. I contacted Anne approximately 6 months prior to the time I wanted to get a bernedoodle pup. She…read morewas very responsive to email, sent pictures of previous litters and answered some of my questions. Before fully committing and giving my deposit I had a wonderful phone conversation with Anne. Once my deposit was received communication became almost non existent. In our previous conversations she stated that she would keep me posted on the pups arrival as well as growth/progress. This was also stated in the contract I signed. I sent multiple emails and phone calls that went unanswered. Only after multiple attempts to get in touch with Anne did I receive the bare minimum of information. I only ever received two group pictures of the pups once they were born. A few weeks prior to the go home date I became concerned as I had not picked out a pup yet. Finally two weeks prior to our pick up date Anne reached out to tell me this litter of pups was projecting to be 2-3x the size that was anticipated (I was looking to get a mini). I was also disheartened to learn that all the males except one was already spoken for. Anne never told me where I was on the list but said she helps each person pick a puppy. Ultimately, I decided to forgo my deposit. I felt that Anne was breeding too many dogs at once and had too many puppies to really make her facility ethical. I feel that she was too busy with all the puppies in her care to allow her the communication with the buyers that is necessary when adopting a puppy, especially seeing how expensive her dogs are. I would be very cautious getting a pup from Anne. I was thoroughly disappointed in the process and would not get a puppy from black briar bernedoodles.
