$2.00 drafts and a decent burger. Lots of room and plenty of regulation pool tables. Service decent.

I want to apologize to Kirsten for me being so rude, but I was so upset at the time that I lashed out on her, and she did not deserve that.

If you're in Fort Myers and want to feel slightly cooler than you actually are, head up to Skybar…read more We went there with one mission: watch the sunset. The plan was simple -- rooftop, drinks, beautiful sky, dramatic sunset moment... you know, the whole Instagram vibe. Well... the sun had other plans. It was so cloudy that the sunset basically said, "Not today." But honestly? We didn't even care after a few minutes. The drinks were excellent, the vibe was great, and the whole place had that perfect rooftop energy where everyone is just relaxing and having a good time. Even without the sunset, the view and atmosphere still made it totally worth it. The service was also great -- friendly, fast, and patient with us while we debated important life decisions like "one more drink or two?" So no, we didn't get the sunset we came for... but we did get great drinks, good service, and a really fun night. 10/10 would come back -- and maybe next time the sun will decide to show up.

We had a drink or two, then ordered the Mediterranean Plate for a starter. It was a great spread, with a lot of humus, plenty of pita triangles, tzatziki sauce and other veggies. We continued on with Beef Skewers and Bai Buns. The buns were nicely zingy and delicious! The beef was tender and cooked to order. The bar...and while rooftop, is hopping, and the vibe is lively and friendly. Apps are 1/2 price during happy hour and some house/well drinks are discounted, but we opted for our favorites. Definitely a great place to watch the water and sunset.

These folks understand the meaning of craft cocktails, complete with making as many of their own ingredients/mix-ins as possible. We were lucky as we were able to just walk in and pick any table we liked at 8pm on a Wednesday. I guess it can get quite busy at times. The chartreuse colored chairs and gorgeous stained glass lights told me instantly that we came to the right place. They have an extensive cocktail list, but that didn't stop me from ordering something not on the menu. They had no questions or problems making it. My spouse also ordered something not on the menu that was recommended to her by someone that had it once here before when it was one of their seasonal specials. Once again, not a challenge for these master bartenders. Everyone was upbeat and clearly enjoying what they do. Looking forward to getting back the next time I'm in Bonita.

My favorite Mexican food truck is unfortunately no longer there. I always used to get the Birria burrito from there. Now, I mostly order from Gigi Gourmet and get the Triple Threat burger, which has 3/4lb Wagyu beef, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, applewood bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a sauce. The Pattie's are crispy on the outside since they are smash burgers and so juicy on the inside. The toppings are piled high. This burger is one of my favorite burgers in the whole area. We also like to order from The Lobster Chef truck. The lobster tacos are out of this world! The portion is generous and the price is fair. They are on flour tortillas with cheese, cabbage, guacamole, pineapple salad, cilantro lime crema, and a really generous portion of lobster. They are an absolute must-order. My husband loves the tuna poke bowl. It's a massive portion with sushi rice, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, crispy onion, spicy mayo, and ponzu sauce. He says the tuna tastes very fresh. Can't wait for our next trip to The Slipaway!

Coincidentally, I had just added a few new places to my Yelp collection from my "Wagyu burger" search moments earlier. Sip & Sizzle was on the list. It didn't disappoint. We got in w/o a reservation on an off-season Saturday night. Service was excellent. Drink menu was fun. Lots of yummy concoctions at fairly reasonable prices. But it's the wagyu beef that I can't stop thinking about today. We got the hot stone, where you basically finish cooking your proteins on the stone at your table. I was a little under-confident about this, but our helpful waiter Cody promised he'd be there to help. It wasn't needed. Unless you don't know how to cook or grill at all, I suppose. The Wagyu was out of this world. I had tuna as well, which was quite tasty potatoes au gratin were outstanding. And a polenta, which was good even better with the garlic butter on it. Cody recommended the right sauce for my proteins. I'm glad I asked this help on that. I was a little worried the menu was somewhat confusing overall as related to the stone, but in the end, my bill was very reasonable for the top-notch experience and delicious food.
