If you're in Fort Myers and want to feel slightly cooler than you actually are, head up to Skybar. We went there with one mission: watch the sunset. The plan was simple -- rooftop, drinks, beautiful sky, dramatic sunset moment... you know, the whole Instagram vibe. Well... the sun had other plans. It was so cloudy that the sunset basically said, "Not today." But honestly? We didn't even care after a few minutes. The drinks were excellent, the vibe was great, and the whole place had that perfect rooftop energy where everyone is just relaxing and having a good time. Even without the sunset, the view and atmosphere still made it totally worth it. The service was also great -- friendly, fast, and patient with us while we debated important life decisions like "one more drink or two?" So no, we didn't get the sunset we came for... but we did get great drinks, good service, and a really fun night. 10/10 would come back -- and maybe next time the sun will decide to show up. read more

Friday night, so we arrived at 3:55 to stand in line to get a seat. For a couple of seats at the bar, and all seats were full by about 4:30. Happy hour specials run from 4-7 (I think!). We had a drink or two, then ordered the Mediterranean Plate for a starter. It was a great spread, with a lot of humus, plenty of pita triangles, tzatziki sauce and other veggies. We continued on with Beef Skewers and Bai Buns. The buns were nicely zingy and delicious! The beef was tender and cooked to order. The bar...and while rooftop, is hopping, and the vibe is lively and friendly. Apps are 1/2 price during happy hour and some house/well drinks are discounted, but we opted for our favorites. This was a cool night club on the roof top. Visited this place while on vacation and as much I'm not into the bar scene at all. It was definitely a nice experience your typical rooftop bar. It did have great music with a DJ and the crowd seemed to love it. Went to the Skybar last night around 4:30 for cocktails before heading to dinner. Love the view and ambiance of this place. There were 4 people at the bar. The female bartender walked around the bar twice looking straight ahead and didn't acknowledge us. I had to walk up to her and ask her for a drink. She said "Are you sitting at the bar ". I wanted to say to her'- 'Are you stupid'. Not sure if she was high or just has poor eyesight. What has happened to the industry service??? There is definitely something wrong here. read more

We broke down the door at 4pm when they opened and they were very gracious. Hero and Lucy were at the bar and they made delicious drinks! We did not have food cause we just were bar hopping but all the options sounded delicious. They had the heaters in to help with how cold it was so that was nice to have on a rooftop bar. read more

Both of the servers we interacted with were kind, friendly, and offered great suggestions and recommendations. 3. This place is pretty cool. We were visiting family in fort Myers and wanted to be tourists for a day so we walked around town and stumbled across this place. It was a Friday afternoon so it was pretty quiet but was a lovely spot to have cocktails and look at the water. We didn't have food so I can't comment on that but our cocktails tasted great, our servers were very friendly and the view is what made it so nice. They told us that the vibe changed at night and it becomes more of a club vibe which we would like to check out if we are back in the area. read more

We have been to the skybar several times in the past. We were there last weekend and were really disappointed with the place. It was difficult to find a place to sit for to all the "reserved " seating. Unfortunately, no one was in those areas. It has gotten a bit to snooty for us. Found a great place just up the street. If you go inside the Firestone restaurant and immediately grab the elevator located right next to the entrance, it will take you directly to the Skybar. My only reason for going to the Skybar was that the main restaurant at which I was dining doesn't have any toilet facilities on its main first floor. When I got off the elevator at the Skybar, my head was indeed in the clouds with great sky views of the City of Fort Myers below, the not nearly as good as the views from the nearby Beacon Bar located at atop the Luminary Hotel. Though Skybar has a decent menu, the place is really more of a young person's party bar serving drinks made up of far more of ice than booze and if mixed, with bartenders very much adept to floating the booze on top so you might believe you are getting a good solid drink, which you are not. What totally shocked me about Skybar was, that when I was there at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, there was no mask wearing enforcement or safe distancing. The only people wearing masks were staff. The young patrons were just partying loudly, without masks, and seemingly carefree as well as oblivious to the dangers of their reckless behavior. For this uncaring attitude on the part of management, I have minused stars, as it is my firm belief that as a guest, it is their duty to care for patron's well-being. read more

This was a really cool spot to be as the sun was setting on a Saturday night. You can see how they transition from a restaurant into nightlife. The music got louder a disco ball came on and there were lights changing different colors along with the music. The food was great and the drinks were delicious as well. We tried the chicken and steak kebabs as well as well as the goat cheese the kebabs were absolutely delicious but I wasn't a huge fan of the goat cheese. I think it was prepared well, but it was a little too potent for my taste preference. Unfortunately the sunset was a little hard to see the night that we were there, but the atmosphere and overall views were beautiful. Stopped by the SkyBar the last two Fridays during the happy hour and sat at the bar. Unfortunately, we had Eugene both Fridays. There is no bartender that is slower then he is. Bar had probable 8 people, tops, and took for ever to get service. We ordered appetizers and after 25 minutes, decided to cash out and that's when he finally decided to tell us that it was on its way and should be here shortly which we said to cancel. Even had to have Lucy wait on us for refill on drinks because he was just kind of standing around. I don't get it. It was not that busy. Rate the ambiance 5/5; it is casual and trendy, great music playing, staff and patrons are found dancing or singing and it is encouraged! There is enough background noise to give you some privacy but able to speak to the person next to you. There is a full back bar, speciality cocktails, and full menu. Food was amazing and a welcomed surprise; each plate was dynamic in flavor, served hot, and cooked to perfection (i even reordered the flatbread to take home). Rate the cocktails and wine 4/5; some cocktails were one dimensional, others were innovative in crafting and presentation, wine list/quality is subpar. Rating staff 4/5 most pretended you did not exist, or got your waitress rather than inquiring on the patrons request. The exception to this is Audrey, she is exceptional! She interacted with each of her tables differently and accordingly-- she also provided information on the establishment, upcoming events, and ideal times to return for a different experience. We were there yesterday when they opened at 4 pm. We were the first ones up. Always loved this place and the atmosphere. Its usually a wonderful, fun place. Today we felt like it was a bother for the server to serve us drinks. We literally had to flag her down to get second and third cocktails. They were not busy , but she was as she was on her phone. Put the phone down and do your job. And at least try to act like you like what you do! So sad to see this happen in this otherwise beautiful atmosphere. read more

Came up here late afternoon for a few drinks before going downstairs for dinner. Fantastic drink menu, drinks and service! The only place to sit out of the sun was the sticky and wobbly high tops by the bathroom, so we opted for the couches that gave us a good view of the people vaping/smoking, an open storage closet and the filthy back stairs. Should have brought my clorox wipes. Three out of the four walls have no sky view, so come early if you want to see a sunset. Must be a scene at night because of the disco ball, lighting structures and crowd control belt stanchions. read more

I came here expecting free premium liquor for ladies night because that was advertised and even showed them their own Instagram post and they made me feel like I was crazy and seeing something different. The view is amazing. Such a cool place. Our friends have been trying to get up to this place for months and never could. It was always to crowded so we went a bit earlier and were able to. Booths were first come first serve but after 9 they are all reserved for full bottle service. I'm sure this place turns into a club seeing as when we were leaving they were getting rid of all the chairs and roping off the booths. I think the young servers here tend to service younger patrons like friends and older patrons like day-old drinks, giving one group smiling faces while the latter gets curt service and scowls. We were being treated while visiting from Chicago and our server seemed to have an issue with us since we first ordered at the bar while awaiting couch seating. We had to open two tabs for some lame reason, but she was blunt and rude to our own party's host about this issue, but he kept smiling the entire time, kudos to him. Meanwhile, our server was also giving the next table of a young couple the friendliest and obliging personality switch, crouching down to chat and explain everything. Either way, the basic drinks here were 95% ice and arguably the most watered-down I had in Ft. Meyers. I didn't pay for them and STILL felt bad... there was so much ice in everything, I even asked for more Coke in my rum and Coke, haha! read more

The only way to enjoy this in season is to get there early, find a place to sit and stay and drink or eat for a while so you can see sunset. Otherwise you will be in a crowd waiting for a table or smooshed into the bar. Oh and since it's so crowded if you aren't a big enough group, plan on sharing the table with others, which can be pleasant,,,, or not. Don't expect a lot for food, imo it is good but basically glorified bar food. Although there was an app tray that was olives, hummus, fruit and assorted goodies that I thought was nice, but no real cooking involved there. Comfy sofa seating areas and a nice bar. Bartender was friendly and skilled. My cocktail, the Downtown Diva was delicious (order with no simple syrup). The only reason I am deducting a star is because there is no where to sit unless you purchase bottle service and get your own reserved section.
