We're a party of two trying this Ramen shop for the first time. They offer only about 5-6 different Ramen bowls. Somewhat disappointing, but they make it up by offering 4-5 different rice bowls and about 3 different soup noodles (Udon, Soba) as well as some side dishes. I had the Spicy Tan Tan and my friend had the Curry Chicken Ramen. It's somewhat of a disservice to think of place as just a Ramen shop. Now for the food. They either forgot the 'Spicy' with my bowl or I totally over estimated their idea of 'Spicy'. The flavor was OK but it tasted like they put in enough salt for a 'Spicy' entree but dropped the heat. The soup from my friend's curry tasted much richer, probably due to the coconut milk used with curry. It makes a very respectable bowl of Curry Chicken Ramen if you don't like spicy food, but we've had better. The place was clean, the staff friendly, and the food tasted good enough we both emptied our bowl except for the soup. We're happy but not exactly excited. read more

This is the best ramen place in the Triangle. The price is reasonable, the broth and noodles are spot on and the owner and staff are super nice and professional. The only Ramen spot I truly loved in this area was Noodle Blvd and especially for the Chicken Curry ramen. Given the coronavirus outbreak, I wanted to try a spot where I could get food picked up curbside. Ordered their chicken ramen and the process to pick up was very smooth too. The ramen was very pleasantly flavorful, slightly sweet but full of veggies and the broth was super tasty even though the base was just vegetables not meat. Went here for the first time tonight and I'll be back! It was delicious. I got the Tonkatsu and every single ingredients was perfect. The bowl was loaded with noodles, bok choy, mushrooms, corn, eggs, and juicy pork. I made my level 1 spicy and it had nice kick to it. The staff was very friendly and nice. The restaurant was spotless. Price of ramen was great ($12- think?), the beer (Asahi) was a little overpriced but goes well with the ramen. I'm already planning my next trip back. My family and I came in with a party of 6 and they forgot three of our ramens, we waited about 20 minutes before saying anything when the girl at the register told us she never even put down the three ramens in our initial order. When we placed the order, they did not make us the priority order and had to wait an additional 25 minutes and we're still waiting. Definitely ruined our Mother's Day. Finally!!!!! I first noticed a 'ramen bar coming soon' sign almost a year ago in this plaza and religiously kept driving by it to see if any improvements have been made. I kind of forgot about it as the months passed by and was driving by the plaza just the other day when a 'Miso Ramen Bar' sign caught my eye as I was driving on High House. I immediately took to Yelp to see if this place had opened and was ecstatic it finally did! The reviews seemed good, so my husband and I (who have been on a ramen kick lately) decided to check it out today. We were blown away. The place was packed on a Sunday night- good sign! The line wasn't very long and went by quick. The young man taking our orders was super nice and welcoming and so were all the workers there! My husband was actually classmates with one of the coworkers so it was cool to see them rekindle. I got the chickenn curry ramen and it did not disappoint. I will even say it tastes so much better than Noodle Boulevard. I said what I said! You can add toppings for an extra charge. I also got the beef skewer. Seriously that was some of the best, most tender and juicy beef I've ever had in my life. The seasoning hit the spot and was sooooo good! The chicken in the ramen was tender, flavorful, and soaked up so much of the broth. This for sure is our new ramen place and we're so glad it's a 3 minute drive from our house! This review is only for the Zaru Soba. Not a single flavor was appealing. The noodles were what I expected, not very flavorful because everything else is suppose to be. The eggs did not taste good. The pork was not yummy. The carrots, though generous, I honestly don't remember and I just ate the dish 20 minutes ago. The sauce was too heavy, too salty. There was too little of the sesame seeds, scallions and cucumbers to notice. The chashu did not appeared to be grilled as stated on the menu but that is one food I have not had before that I can remember. I have been eating Japanese food with real Japanese people for decades. Ordered miso ramen, pork rice bowl and pork buns. The ramen broth was very good, the half a egg was good and so were the veggies plenty of meat ( even though it was a little fattier then I enjoy) in it as well makes for a good bowl of ramen. Pork buns were good and the rice bowl was delicious with a little of the hot oil albeit the pork being fattier then I am into. Miso Ramen Bar just opened up in Cary, and lucky me, it's a hop, skip, and a jump away from my neighborhood. I tried the Chicken Curry Ramen which is beautifully presented with cabbage, bok choy, scallions, enoki, nori, and an ajitsuke egg. The curry broth is thick and flavorful and I love how it coats and clings to the noodles. If you like your Ramen on the spicy side, I recommend you let them know upon ordering your Ramen that you want to up the ante on the heat. This bowl is $12, which is a great deal IMO. The restaurant also boasts a neat and charming interior and I'm loving the bowls they use for their Ramen.
