My friend and I went for lunch last week and felt it was pretty good. We both got noodle dishes that don't have a lunch portion option. Our meals were great, but the picture attached to the review is after we finished eating. It looks like we didn't touch it! I took home the leftovers and ate it for two more meals! In that sense, it's definitely cost effective! I liked that all meals came with a soup or salad. I will say the drinks felt kind of off to us. The water tasted a little strange so we decided to get sodas. They also tasted slightly off, maybe like there wasn't enough syrup? I would still come back though and maybe bring my own water bottle LOL!

The waiter said that was enough food after ordering 4 rolls. He also didn't place an order for the 4 rolls without us knowing and only brought 2 rolls and said it's a lot of food and we can order more when we are done. The sushi didn't have any taste, and the service was terrible.

We have tried sushi Iwa in Apex but this is our first time trying this Morrisville location and it is equally fantastic. The staff is super nice and welcoming, the food was delicious, and came super fast, and my little one loved her kid's chicken lomain

Bottom line: I enjoyed the sushi at Sushi Iwa with the "My Love" specialty roll definitely being my favorite of them. They do have BOGO sushi here. The broccoli with beef was adequate but not extraordinary, wishing the sauce packed more flavor. The starters of steamed gyoza and veggie spring rolls were both good. Service both visits was great and positive. The Deets: Seeing Sushi Iwa opening up in the Grace Park neighborhood of Morrisville, I've made a couple of visits here. It's located on the roundabout near Starbucks and Woody's in Grace Park. Going in, it appears to have the same layout and footprint that the previous occupants had at that location. Being solo each time, I was sat down at the booth next to the main doors/entrance upon each visit. There is a sushi bar in the back corner, regular bar on the other side and plenty of seating with booths and tables. With my visits, I had a good variety of menu selections. My first visit started with steamed pork gyoza and it was a good appetizer choice. For lunch, I went with the Chef's Selection of the broccoli dish with beef added for my protein choice. This entree was adequate, but not extraordinary, pretty much how you'd expect from any beef/broccoli dish dining out. I actually wished the brown sauce had more flavor to it. The house salad with ginger dressing was good, nice portion for a side salad. I wanted to see how the sushi was though, and even though they are known for their BOGO deal even with specialty rolls, I went with one roll of the "My Love" specialty roll with spicy tuna, salmon, cream cheese, spicy mayo, and topped with red roe (one roll is 8 pieces). I found this roll delicious! It had a lot more cream cheese than expected (not complaining) and I enjoyed all the flavors coming together in this roll. I made one more visit, this time to enjoy the BOGO deal they are known for, but first ordered a couple of vegetable spring rolls for starters. I had to use a fork as they were extremely hot just out of the fryer as well as still a bit oily, but they were not bland flavor-wise and I liked them. For my BOGO sushi, I ordered the "White River" specialty roll (yellowtail, avocado, tempura flakes, topped with white tuna, orange caviar, and spicy mayo) and the "Cherish U" specialty roll (spicy tuna, avocado, topped with salmon). I enjoyed both of these sushi rolls, as I went back and forth over which one I liked the most...finally the flavors within the "Cherish U" roll won out but again, both were good to me. Throughout both visits, my server Victor delivered great service with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the meals. I think I like Sushi Iwa for their sushi and appetizer selections, glad to see them in the neighborhood.

When we arrived, the attentive host greeted us and seated us immediately after confirming our reservation. We were seated in a cozy corner of the restaurant, and our server came over shortly afterward. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We both ordered the rainbow roll, and my friend also had the miso soup. She was craving calamari, but unfortunately, it was not on the menu. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The restroom was clean, well stocked, and had everything you would expect. I especially loved the scent of the soap! Parking is convenient, with plenty of spaces available behind and beside the restaurant. The sushi is a little more expensive than at some other restaurants, so be prepared to spend a bit more. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely return!

The restaurant itself has a very intimate, modern and upscale feel, which makes it perfect for a date night or when you just want something a little nicer than your typical sushi spot. The service was attentive, and I appreciated that everything felt intentional--from the presentation to the pacing of the meal. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and I love that you can keep things fairly traditional with nigiri and sashimi or venture out and try some of their more creative specialty rolls and small plates. Everything is presented beautifully, so of course you're going to take a picture before you touch it. Now, M Sushi is definitely on the pricier side, so this wouldn't necessarily be my casual Tuesday-night sushi run. But for the quality, atmosphere and overall experience, I understand why it has the reputation it does. Fenton already gives you plenty to do before or after dinner, so M Sushi makes for a really nice evening out. Good food, beautiful presentation, great service and an elevated atmosphere. Definitely worth experiencing at least once if you're a sushi lover!

Great start to loving Japanese dishes! My husband and I made a 7:45 pm reservation on a Saturday,…read moreand sat in the main dining room. Little light tapers stood in the middle of the table. Not too bright nor dim. Our waiter, Dylan, really treated us well. Before we ordered anything, Dylan gave us each a very, warm terry-cloth wash cloth for our face and hands. Nice touch. We just had water to drink, but that's okay. My husband's entree was very spicy! We began with the Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura. The shrimp was quite fresh, and the flavor gave a great mouthful of taste and some oiliness (but, not dripping). Flavor! Also, we ordered Negimaki, which are grilled beef-wrapped scallions with teriyaki sauce. One bite is the way to eat those. Love the chopsticks, too. We were each served Miso Soup and two small salads (with ginger dressing). Sure did like that (the soup had good flavor, but was a bit salty for our tastes.) My entree was Teriyaki. I am not familiar with a lot of Japanese dishes, but I do know this flavor. I ordered the Steak. This came with stir fried vegetables with a good flavor of cabbage. I liked those. White rice completed my dish. My husband ordered the Spicy Seafood Udon. This proved to be more spicy than it appeared. This dish included vegetables, udon noodles, shrimp, hokkaido scallops, squid, green mussels, in a savory & spicy garlic butter sauce. We had food leftover, so we got some containers and packed them for home. We will come back here, and perhaps eat outside (sure, the view is of a parking lot), but the high tables and the torchieres give it a nice atmosphere - perhaps as the weather turns cooler, we will enjoy being outside. We spent over $100 without alcohol. Prepare for that, but, it's worth the drive and it's worth your time and money.

Excellent service provided in the bar area to eat my meals and enjoy my experience. A nice Asian fusion/sushi stop for eats, overall. The Deets: I had seen mention of Sushi at the Park over at Parkside Town Commons but had not had the chance to visit there until recently. I've had a couple visits now and I like this Asian fusion/sushi restaurant. They do have inside and outside seating available, but both times I have been either at the bar or in a booth within the bar area seating. The decor is nice, bright, modern, and inviting. The menu itself is pretty comprehensive for Asian fusion with also multiple sushi options offered as well. For the starters, I have had their wonton soup and their steamed gyoza with chicken. The wonton soup is just the right size and tastes good without resorting to being too salty as soups can often be. The steamed gyoza are very good, flavorful even without applying sauce. I had to get those again in my next visit, and they were equally as good as the first time. My sushi experience here was nice and simple with their Rolls Combo selection (preset with California roll, tuna roll, and salmon roll). I did not venture into their specialty sushi rolls but noted that they do have BOGO offered for those. I enjoyed my sushi rolls a lot and it was just what I needed to satisfy my sushi craving that day in portion and taste. On my other visit, I wanted to try their bibimbap on the menu but was informed they had just taken that selection off the menu, so a bit disappointed. However, I rallied to select their Hibachi entree with chicken and steamed white rice chosen. This entree was excellent and I enjoyed the flavors along with the perfect portion given. One mention RE: first impressions for my first visit...I came to the host desk and was dining solo. I usually like dining many times at the bar however when it was offered then and agreed to, the impression really felt like they could not get me away from the host desk fast enough, it just was not a welcoming feeling even though the bar was fine by the me (I do want to mention my second visit was much more welcoming feeling at the host desk). Again, first impressions go a long way. Luckily, this first impression was offset by the excellent and positive service from Wes at the bar area both visits, a definite good service experience each time by him. I am a fan of Sushi At The Park thus far and plan on seeing them again soon to enjoy more meals.
