They have new owners, and while they aren't rude like the previous owners. They definitely missed the mark on quality of service. I requested my usual med-short almond shape, natural color fill set. And boy oh boy, I had to go get them reshaped a few days later because I couldn't deal with the big globs of circles that were supposed to be "almond shaped". I asked the young lady (first chair as soon as you walk in) to reshape them, not once, not twice but 3 different times only to be met with "it's not the nail, it's your fingers" like girl, ok, don't worry about it lol. I did not receive quality Service. My pedicure was extremely rushed and polish was uneven and my nails were cut down far too short. I asked for gel polish and received regular polish. There were multiple mess ups that occurred where the polish had to be removed and reapplied with no clear coat. When given dip the service was very very rushed. The nail tech was rough to the point where my skin was filed on and is now tender. There is also dip powder on my cuticles. There were many gaps in the dip and the color is uneven. When I asked for a refund on my service after realizing how bad it was I was denied and told that everything done was normal service and that I can not expect it to be perfect. Came here with a bridal group and they were accommodating and friendly which is why I will give 2 stars. I got a delux pedicure with shellac and a manicure with shellac. Came out to 84 dollars. I thought "a bit pricey" especially as the massage was poor during my pedicure and they BARELY exfoliated my feet (which desperately needed it unfortunately) but I haven't gotten my nails done in forever and they looked great! Only a few days after my mani/pedi I look down at my toes and 2 are completely missing polish. Then the following day my big toe nail polish completely comes off. 2 of my nails are chipped (only one pictured). I've literally never had polish come Off so quickly. Very disappointed. Another thing to note- they only accept cash tips. They have an atm in the salon and the smallest amount you can take out is 20.00. So I tipped 20.00. Tried to justify this amount to myself as businesses have suffered from COVID, however, the quality of this mani and pedi was very poor. I will not be going back. read more

I had been out of town to return to new management. Ok, I thought,I'll give it a try. I won't be going back. They try to push you to upgrade your services, a more expensive mani or pedi. My pedi didn't even last 5 days. A group of their friends came in while I was there and they carried on and laughed for over 1/2 hour in their native language. I will never come to this nail salon ever again! I have been coming here for six Years now. With the addition of referring them to friends and family because I LOVED how short the wait time is and how clean they are. With that being said the last three visits I've had at Miss nails I was completely unsatisfied. Jenny has a tone I do NOT care for. I ALWAYS ask for Ryan or John to take care of me. But they were MIA for some reason. So I had Jenny and a couple other girls do my nails. Let me add that I am a great tipper and I pay for good service. I have been getting acrylic and shellac nails since I was 14 years old & I'm in college...I know exactly what I want. I know what nice nails look like when people take their time. I have never wrote a yelp review before but Miss nails deserves a bad one. Now let me get into why I will never go there again. Walking in I came in with a girlfriend this time. I asked if we could sit next to each other. I was told no. But there were 6 EMPTY seats lined up side by side. When I asked why, Jenny told me it's because she didn't want to get up. So I said fine I'll have someone else do my nails. As I'm sitting down and getting my nails done I let the nail tech know that I want a design. After showing the picture of the flower I want. (Which was a BASIC daisy) she told me no problem. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted my nails cut down I said no.... then told me it was an extra $5 to keep them the same length. Excuse me? You pay an extra five dollars to get them cut down because you are doing a service, NOT to keep them the same length! Don't let any nail tech give you that bs. I should've walked out then. At this point I'm already annoyed but my friend is here getting her nails done too, so I just sit in my chair and I pay the $5 dollars. I used to come here regularly but am now in search of a new nail salon, my gel manicure and pedicure didn't even last 5 DAYS AND WAS $90 a rip off! Experience was so so. Received a pedicure and still have hard crusty skin that with some elbow grease could of been exfoliated down. That's one of the main reasons I went. Jenny is rude (but all previous reviews already mentioned that) the manicurist I had was not gentle with your nails, but the biggest red flag is that the place is absolutely FILTHY! When I sat down at the nail seat the wrist pad was wet so I wiped it off myself. Then, I put my hands down IN SOMEONE ELSES ACRYLIC DUST! So disgustig! You can't wipe down the counter between clients?! Then, the little nail shaved machine also had acrylic & nail dust all over it. I doubt it had ever been cleansed, which I'm pretty sure has to be a violation of health code! The inside of the shellac light was so grimy it was making my stomach turn. With the hand sweat of every single person that had used it before me & crumbs galore, I was absolutely repulsed. These had undoubtedly never been cleaned. So disgusting. I love the location of being right near Kroger & other common errand shops. The setting inside is beautiful and clean with crystal chandeliers and bright colors. However I feel like the staff is slightly rude. I even had a guy tell me I was difficult?! (I like trendy not boring) They seem unable to do any nail art, ombré & give grief if you want any added sparkle or gems added. They specialize in just "one all-over color manicures"... Their appointments are inconsistent. If you have a weekend appointment, be prepared to wait and extra 30-45 mins past your scheduled time. I'm happy that their so busy on the weekends (busy is always a good sign) - but if I have an appointment, I want to stick to my planner schedule and not have to wait around. The last thing I want is to waste my time or anyone else's. Rushing thru any service rude & disrespectful, especially when there are nail salons on every corner. 1- Don't use a course grit file on real nails 2- shellac should neatly reach edges 3- when you pay for a manicure, it's more than soaking in water. After getting home seeing the mess, I called, Jenny agreed to redo them nicely on the phone, ...so I thought. I went, I normally would never have gone back, but I've had one other good experience here before. Once I sat down at her table, she was nothing but quiet, mean, rude, so uncomfortable & awkward. I went in for a manicure and pedicure during winter when it's roughest on your feet and all during my pedicure "John" continued to tell me how rough my feet were and how I was not taking care of them! My experience at miss nails & spa was extremely disappointing. I had been coming there for a while when I was younger and enjoyed it. I had recently started going back and noticed a change on how I was treated. My last encounter there would definitely be my last time at the shop. I was completely discriminated against from the moment I walked in. No one was pleasant at all. The moment I sat down the nail tech kept talking about prices and she kept explaining how she had to tell me the prices before hand and I kept saying I'll pay whatever I know what I want and I'll pay whatever. She still wanted to talk about it as if she wanted confirmation that I was gonna for sure pay them and even the owner who was doing nails next to her got involved. The nail tech and owner were going back-and-forth for about five minutes(not in English) about what the price of my nail should be, it for some reason constantly kept increasing with minimal reason as to why. I even tried to ask what was wrong and the owner blatantly ignored me, I would ask simple questions and was met with a lot of attitude. It completely ruined my mood and the only reason I didn't get up and leave is because she already started doing my nails and I knew they would probably up charge me for that if I left. (Mind you all I wanted was a fill in and I just wanted French nails with one marble design on one finger and that was gonna be 85 dollars?)After the embarrassing moment I just asked for nothing special and just to do the French and go because it seemed like it was all too much. I was so uncomfortable during my visit the nail tech noticed and tried to make small talk after the owner walked away but I was completely off put. For the past 15 years, I have never been a loyal client to any salon/spa, but have not gone anywhere else since I have been coming to Jenny. She is fantastic! Today, I went in after a few weeks of destroying my nails, she fixed them right up and dos the holiday design just as I pictured! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the salon is very clean. My 9 year old daughter also loves the kids pedicure chairs and loves going to get pampered for her birthday.
