Summer roll with shrimp and pork and the best dipping sauce

So excited Miss Saigon reopened. We finally made it out and I can't say enough about how delicious everything was. Started with Shrimp chips and a summer roll. The main was the chicken lemongrass curry. Ordered it with extra sauce and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and fast which is greatly appreciated. Can't wait to come back with our friends who would regularly visit the previous locations with us.

This is a hole in the corner and the service is phenomenal and quick. We got there and although it was packed we were sat pretty quickly. I'm recovering from the flu and needed a magic soup and this definitely helped. The veggie rolls were crunchy and crispy and come with a great sweet sauce. The environment was pretty calm.

Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly! While I was waiting for my order, they offered me some water. Open restaurant with a good amount of tables. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee (iced coffee with condensed milk) with the black boba. 10/10 it was so good and perfect pick me up. I was stuck between ordering the regular grilled pork and the bbq pork. I ended up going for the bbq pork per the employee's recommendation. The pork itself was soft and tender. The roll was also soft and fresh. Something was missing and i can't think of what it is. It didn't have the strong cilantro flavor that banh mi usually does, or maybe a sauce was missing? I will try the grilled pork next time.

Finally made it here for a papaya salad. I absolutely love them and once I heard they put an extra touch on there's I had to try. So we started with the spring rolls which were absolutely delicious and crunchy and jusy full of flavor. We had 3 pieces each and still wanted more. You have to try them and they come with this clear sauce that's sweet but gives it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The papaya salad caught me a little off guard as they add pork and mint to there's. I opted to 86 the pork but keep the mint. I won't lie at first I wasn't feeling it at all. But once I added a little extra heat to it ( BTW they add no heat unless requested and the number goes up to 8) and mixed it all up it was really good. It also came with shrimp chips to help keep the heat to a distance. Service was swift and friendly and you sit where you want. It's the perfect spot for an authentic experience and friendly atmosphere

Great Vietnamese food! Each plate we got was filled with lots of flavor, veggies, protein, and was shareable. The service was absolutely amazing. The owner is very sweet and cares about the quality of the food and making customers happy. The ambiance was good as well; it's family-owned so everyone was so friendly with one another and very helpful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I was out and about with my family and we got hungry. My kids love Asian food so we decided to stop in at Miss Saigon. We started with the clam appetizer. This was a fan favorite. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. It had a delicious taste. We all wanted more. For my main meal I had the pad Thai. It had a good balance of flavor a little dry but still good. My kids had the seafood pho which they said the broth was delicious. My son-in-law had the beef pho which he also said had really good broth. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Came here on a friend's suggestion, left here excited to come back. Miss Saigon has a legacy of quality Vietnamese food and their newest location delivers on all levels. I had the Pho Buddha for dinner, and it was a flavor bomb; brimming with fresh herbs, veggies, spices, and a masterfully crafted broth. It was everything I could have asked for on a cold Miami night. Yet, what really sealed the deal for me was the customer service. Everyone working the front-end was beyond cordial and are genuinely great people who truly care about their food and our experience. That alone would keep me coming back. I can't wait to explore more of the menu!

I had a tofu Bahn Mi and their veggie spring rolls , everything was delicious. I work in the area so I'll be back soon! 5 stars all around. read more

So happy that we discovered Miss Saigon had reopened in this spot! The owners recognized us and greeted us warmly! The mango slushie was a delicious and refreshing drink that was bursting with flavor. We skipped appetizers knowing that the Bun noodle bowls would fill us up and satisfy our long lost cravings! The vermicelli noodles with bean sprouts, mint, grilled pork, spring roll, and shrimp in a sumptuous sauce is everything you need and more!!! It hits every flavor and if you want it with some spiciness, the chili sauce can be added for heat. We were in heaven when we finished every bite! It fills you up for the entire day! We have never been able to find anything comparable! The owners even brought out a homemade slice of cake to complete our meal! Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant today - I even left a bit teary eyed! Absolutely will not be my last visit It was so nice to eat at an establishment of integrity and care, and a love of good food! While also bringing Vietnamese cuisine to the Miami area, which I've found to be not quite so common. I live on south beach and am down in Cutler Bay for work and there are no options for Pho or Bahn Mi over there !! The staff is absolutely lovely to talk with, you can tell how much joy it brings to serve their customers bc they know their food is something to be proud of. The food is absolutely phenomenal as well. Scratching a huge itch I've had for years now for a good Bahn Mi. I'm won't be in cutler bay for many more lunch breaks for work but I will be spending the majority if not all of my remaining lunch breaks at Miss Saigon's!! Order for togo. They did not give me veggie as it should come with the dish. I asked for no pepper and they gave me pepper, so service is bad since they did not really care. In person was good. I recommended but now since I did for togo, they gave you small food and tried to skip some stuff to save money. Not recommended. read more

I ordered tofu banh mi's for the team. Everyone said this was one of the better banh mi's they've had. This banh mi tastes great in all the right ways. We travel quite a bit and so we've had many banh mis. This place is one of the best for banh mis hands down. read more

So happy there is now a great Vietnamese restaurant near me ! I've been there twice already since they opened 2 weeks ago and both times the food was amazing ! It's a family business and eating there is like being invited to eat in their home ! The delectable authentic food is cooked with love by a family member while other siblings run the tables . Service is professional but remains friendly, helpful and personable. If you never had Vietnamese food before , this is a great place to try it. You will be back for more ! read more

We used to go to their locations regularly in both the Gables and Pinecrest. But Covid and a bout of illness caused us to stop going out as much. We found this new location on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find the same food and the same loving staff that used to great us from before. A new lovely restaurant with the same tastes brought us back. Try any of the Búns, Spring rolls, or if you ask nicely, go off menu and ask for the Caramelized Chicken wings. I strongly recommend this place! read more

If you have fond memories of Miss Saigon Coral Gables or Miss Saigon Pinecrest then you have to try Miss Saigon on SW 160 St, just West of US-1. The food is amazing. The Pho is the best around. The same wonderful family owns this location they treat you like one of their! The ambiance is one of making you feel like you've "come home". Try the pho for sure but if you want something different try the chicken with curry and lemon grass over rice noodles. Everything is fresh and delicious. Enjoy! read more

So so so good. Food, impeccable, Báhn Mì sandwich, the special is my fav. Crispy roll, fresh veg, jalapeño in every bite, pork is juicy. Hit the spot. What a great place. Very small with about 8-10 tables, so there may be a wait. Same as the old Miss Saigon but somehow it tasted even better. We highly recommend this restaurant. Could not find anything to complain about except maybe a few peanut pieces on top of the peanut sauce when served. There is a pastry cabinent by the front that has some excellent sweet and nonsweet baked goods. The bun with meat and egg was amazing after they heated it for you. Everything we bought from there was great. Heavily staffed with fast turn over and great customer service. Checked on us many times. A must go to place. read more

Oh how we missed you let us count the ways!! From our U.S. 1 visits or our stops on Giralda we have enjoyed every bite for many many many years... Only to discover you are BACK!!! On a much smaller scale with the same deliciousness as before and maybe even some of the same faces. Carlos is one of our faves and he served us well. Loved seeing him again as well. Please order anything REALLY! so good. And end the meal with a nice Vietnamese coffee. New to this location you can buy fresh breads to cook at home- even bou buns which is something I will try next time. HAPPY you are back!!! read more

We placed a catering order for approximately 40 people several days in advance for my sister's…read morewedding, with a scheduled pickup time of 3:00 PM. Because we didn't have access to the venue until shortly beforehand, timing was critical. When I arrived at 3:00 PM, the manager told me the order would be ready by 3:30. I wasn't able to leave with the food until 3:53 PM, making me late to my own sister's wedding. The explanation was simply that they were busy. While they said they had attempted to call us, a catering order placed several days in advance should have been planned for and ready at the promised time. The pickup process was also surprisingly confusing. Even though we had already paid for everything several days earlier, I was told to pick up the food on one side of the restaurant and then go to a completely different counter for the juices. The employees appeared unsure how the order was supposed to be handled and had to ask each other what to do. To make matters worse, while already running late, I still had to wait in another long line just to receive the juices that had already been ordered and paid for. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated experience. This was my third visit, and each time I've found the service to be disorganized and the staff to be dismissive, often acting as though customers are inconveniencing them rather than trying to help. The reason this isn't a one-star review is because the food is genuinely good. If the service and organization matched the quality of the food, this would be an easy recommendation. For me, though, this was the last visit. I'll gladly drive a few extra minutes to Soriano Brothers, where the food is just as good, catering orders have always been ready on time, and the staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming.

Since the manager James did not step in to handle the situation, my husband felt compelled to intervene and escort the individual out to protect the staff. When we returned on March 9, instead of addressing the situation professionally or showing any appreciation, the manager pulled my husband aside and spoke to him in a very disrespectful and confrontational manner. The interaction escalated to the point where we were asked to leave the restaurant entirely. We were shocked by how poorly the situation was handled. A manager should demonstrate professionalism, respect, and the ability to manage difficult situations none of which were shown here. As loyal customers who live just minutes away, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Due to this incident, we will no longer be returning or supporting this establishment.

We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
