Summer roll with shrimp and pork and the best dipping sauce
    Teri L.

So excited Miss Saigon reopened. We finally made it out and I can't say enough about how delicious everything was. Started with Shrimp chips and a summer roll. The main was the chicken lemongrass curry. Ordered it with extra sauce and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and fast which is greatly appreciated. Can't wait to come back with our friends who would regularly visit the previous locations with us.

Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly! While I was waiting for my order, they offered me some water. Open restaurant with a good amount of tables. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee (iced coffee with condensed milk) with the black boba. 10/10 it was so good and perfect pick me up. I was stuck between ordering the regular grilled pork and the bbq pork. I ended up going for the bbq pork per the employee's recommendation. The pork itself was soft and tender. The roll was also soft and fresh. Something was missing and i can't think of what it is. It didn't have the strong cilantro flavor that banh mi usually does, or maybe a sauce was missing? I will try the grilled pork next time.

This is a hole in the corner and the service is phenomenal and quick. We got there and although it was packed we were sat pretty quickly. I'm recovering from the flu and needed a magic soup and this definitely helped. The veggie rolls were crunchy and crispy and come with a great sweet sauce. The environment was pretty calm.

Finally made it here for a papaya salad. I absolutely love them and once I heard they put an extra touch on there's I had to try. So we started with the spring rolls which were absolutely delicious and crunchy and jusy full of flavor. We had 3 pieces each and still wanted more. You have to try them and they come with this clear sauce that's sweet but gives it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The papaya salad caught me a little off guard as they add pork and mint to there's. I opted to 86 the pork but keep the mint. I won't lie at first I wasn't feeling it at all. But once I added a little extra heat to it ( BTW they add no heat unless requested and the number goes up to 8) and mixed it all up it was really good. It also came with shrimp chips to help keep the heat to a distance. Service was swift and friendly and you sit where you want. It's the perfect spot for an authentic experience and friendly atmosphere

Great Vietnamese food! Each plate we got was filled with lots of flavor, veggies, protein, and was shareable. The service was absolutely amazing. The owner is very sweet and cares about the quality of the food and making customers happy. The ambiance was good as well; it's family-owned so everyone was so friendly with one another and very helpful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Tried Miss Saigon for the first time and wow -- everything was so fresh and full of flavor! The owner was super nice and helped us pick what to try since we'd never had Vietnamese food before. Every dish was a hit. Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu!

I was out and about with my family and we got hungry. My kids love Asian food so we decided to stop in at Miss Saigon. We started with the clam appetizer. This was a fan favorite. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. It had a delicious taste. We all wanted more. For my main meal I had the pad Thai. It had a good balance of flavor a little dry but still good. My kids had the seafood pho which they said the broth was delicious. My son-in-law had the beef pho which he also said had really good broth. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Came here on a friend's suggestion, left here excited to come back. Miss Saigon has a legacy of quality Vietnamese food and their newest location delivers on all levels. I had the Pho Buddha for dinner, and it was a flavor bomb; brimming with fresh herbs, veggies, spices, and a masterfully crafted broth. It was everything I could have asked for on a cold Miami night. Yet, what really sealed the deal for me was the customer service. Everyone working the front-end was beyond cordial and are genuinely great people who truly care about their food and our experience. That alone would keep me coming back. I can't wait to explore more of the menu!

The food at Miss Saigon left much to be desired but the service was very friendly and welcoming. We came by for dinner recently and the restaurant was not very busy. There is a selection of Asian buns and other baked goods along one of the walls. Service was very friendly, but the food came out very slowly given that we were one of two parties in the restaurant at the time. There were two servers that appeared to be in training. They were very sweet but a bit awkward. I think this spot opened recently though so that is understandable. The food was so expensive, I was shocked. $18 for beef pho?!! I ordered the miss Saigon bowl and tried a bite of the chicken salad, banh xeo, summer rolls, and dac biet banh mi as well. The pho broth was not super beefy and was cloudier than I expected. The aromatics were nice but the noodles were over cooked, as if they had been sitting in the bowl a bit too long before they were brought out to us. The major problem, however, was that the tendon tasted totally funky! I was not able to eat it and had to take it out of my bowl. The other meats were good. The banh mi was oddly bland, and the bread was very tough, though it had a good amount of filling. The owner of the restaurant came out to explain the banh xeo to us, and even offered to cut it up. The oil it was fried in was not fresh, and the surface was unevenly cooked with some burnt bits. The dipping sauce was very light on fish sauce, I think it could have used a bit more. The summer rolls were good, very light and nicely rolled. The sauce was more hoisin forward than peanut forward, but was good regardless. Because the price and the long wait, I didn't have the best experience at Miss Saigon. I did hear the owner speaking to another table and providing excellent service, so I can tell she is great at interacting with customers, especially those that have not had Vietnamese food before. However, the food fell short for me personally.

Having moved to Miami in the past year I am in search of the perfect poke lunch. I will be posting all the stops along my journey on the yelp over the next week or so. I have tried each of these establishments at least three times now and feel comfortable evaluating their take out. I have tried to stick loosely to the same order so the comparisons remain objective. All of these were ordered as delivery from DoorDash. Today's choice was poke & Tea. I ordered thr Poke and salad bowl which at this establishment is one protein with the option to add a second. I chose tuna and added salmon, and I had it prepared on a salad base. What was great is they did not force me to accept their chosen mix but allowed me to specify spinach and lettuce (romaine). Then, there were two choices which differ from other places, which I really liked. The first was a sauce as a mix in for the protein, and the second is the actual mix-ins separate from the add-ons . I chose to have the red onion, the green onion, and the sesame seeds. I really didn't see any red onion so it was either left out or too small amount was used. My sauce of choice was spicy mayo, and there is an option to have it on the side or mixed in. At the time of the order I would have preferred to have the option of a third protein, but after receiving it and seeing the generous portions, I was more than satisfied with what I chose. For the other ingredients they limit to five, which as I have noted in other reviews bothers me a bit as I like both the taste and the aesthetic of adding a lot of colorful fruits and vegetables. For my five I chose carrot, masago, edamame, avocado (for an upcharge), and tamago. I have never seen tamago as a choice and it was actually an awesome addition. I do think that adding tomato, cucumber, red cabbage, corn, and maybe broccoli would've added to the enjoyment of the salad itself, adding ginger and seaweed salad to the experience of the sashimi, and a few of the fruits could have added a sweetness and some color. However, I would say that the a limited number of ingredient choices was offset by the rather generous amounts with the exception of the Masago, which was diminutive in comparison. I did like the ability to choose a separate topping sauce for which I chose the poke special sauce but again with the crunchy toppings was limited to only choosing to and I would've liked to choose a third so that I could have crispy, garlic, crispy onion, and furakake. Overall, the bowl was awesome as the fish was very fresh and the portion great. None of this in any way, distracted from it being an exceptional meal that I really enjoyed and so far it is the top pokey that I have had in the area. With a few tweaks that I have noted, it could be the top that I've had anywhere. When glance at the picture and you can tell for yourself that this was one exceptional poke salad bowl.

Giving me my coin after one of the gambling things. The food was a mess, the mochi donuts have been the worse I ever had. They were kinda chewy but not enough being even a bit hard, and small. The presentation was okay, I suppose. Not the best looking and flavor wise is was okay. The chocolate on the smores was dark. Being runny and hot (which is good if u like it hot but not with a semi kinda cold donut that was hard?). The taro donut was good flavor wise, too sweet but not chewy. Like it didn't feel like a mochi donuts. Corn dog, I got one as I personally enough Korean corn dogs that have a mozzarella filling. It was cinnamon and sugar which should be quite a lighter flavor compare the wide selection they had. The oil of it was like older than McDonalds brown and such a harsh taste. It even looked unappealing, which is hard as it's fried food. The smell was weird and really bad smelling burnt. The cheese was good (I would hope, not that hard to mess up cheese). The boba was okay, nothing special. Out the three boba my group ordered only mines was messed up. I ordered no Tapioca and still got but can't really say much as I don't personally enjoy the flavor of it. Ignoring the after taste of my boba it was good. So bear that in mind before ordering. I loved that it wasn't overloaded with batter, you actually got a generous amount of shrimp. At a lot of places, it's mostly breading, but that definitely wasn't the case here. My boyfriend and I both ordered ramen, and honestly, it was probably the best ramen I've had so far. I got the Tonkotsu ramen and it was a 10/10. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the pork was cooked perfectly! Tender, soft, and not overly fatty. I added some sriracha and it took it to the next level. My boyfriend ordered the miso ramen and really enjoyed it as well. The only downside during this visit was the fruit tea. We ordered three different drinks and they all tasted a little off. I first got the lychee fruit tea at 25% sweetness, but it honestly tasted like gardenia perfume.....No joke, I couldn't get past the first sip at all. Then tried the passion fruit tea at 50% sweetness, which was better, but it still had a strange aftertaste. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry fruit tea, and it tasted watered down. What's odd is that the fruit teas were delicious the last time i came, so maybe something was just off today. That said, the service is always great. I like that you can order either through the touchscreen kiosk or directly with the cashier. Tasty Ramen in Cutler Bay has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. Tucked neatly into the new Publix shopping center at the intersection of Old Cutler Road and Marlin Road, it's pretty easy to miss it if you're not inside the parking lot already. The restaurant inside is relatively small, but good enough for small groups (3-4 people). I've gone alone a bunch of times, and ordered for take-out twice as much and the quality of the ramen is consistently good. The Tasty Ramen is my favorite. Broth is flavor packed and the contrast of the chicken and pork belly is delicious. Noodles are made perfectly too. I've also ordered the edamame (yummy), Korean chicken wings (so good!), gyoza (basic, but good), Lychee Tea (really tasty) and Curry Chicken Donburi (2 stars). Wasn't a huge fan of the Donburi, but to be fair, it was my first time ever trying it, so I may give it another shot, just to be absolutely sure. Service is good. The employees in the back work hard to get the food out quick so it's hot and fresh every time.
