Recently went to Pho Kaholic this past week and wow what a delicious experience. I particularly appreciated that it's two spots in one allowing you to mix and match to your preferences. Now for the Pho I got the steak one and so glad we did a large because it was shared and the most perfect sizing. The broth was perfect for me I barely felt the need to add in extras for how much I enjoyed it. There was also a hefty serving of the meat which was terrific and not always common. The spring rolls were also refreshing and tasty love having that when an opportunity presents. And last my fiancé had eggs Benedict from the Sergio's place which was also lovely. As for the service we had such a nice waitress she recommended the most popular items and all and was sweet and attentive. In regards to the location it self very spacious large booths and they seem to move rather quick which is always appreciated if you're super hungry or rushed. I look forward to going back again!

It was a bit confusing at first. Saw the sign, walked in and it said take me to Walter's. So it turns out, this is two restaurant menus in one. Pho kaholic + Walter's. We went for the pho menu. The pho was too salty. The vermicelli noodles lacked herbs. It was just mint. There were more noodles than veggies which is a plus for some. The sauce for the vermicelli noodles isn't what I'm used to. I don't get the tangy vinegar. Not sure what's in here as it is a thicker sauce. Inside looks very nice though. There's a lot of patrons. It did take a bit long to order.

Located inside Walter's Coffee Shop, Pho Kaholic is a Vietnamese restaurant that utilizes this space during the lunch/dinner times. The food is quite plentiful for the price, I got the pho dac biet and received so much tender meat! My mom got the bun thit nuong (BBQ pork) and it was quite flavorful. I actually liked her dish a lot more than the pho I ordered lol! The egg rolls we ordered are a little different than the Viet egg rolls I'm typically used to, they're skinnier and longer, and different egg roll wrappers were used - they're delicious nonetheless. Our waitress provided great service. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The restaurant is well kept, clean and spacious. This restaurant is a must-try! Their food is flavorful. I will definitely be coming back to try their drinks menu next time!

Greeted right away by a friendly server. We ordered rice paper shrimp and pork rolls that were fresh and delicious. Served with sauce and chopped peanuts. Followed by Pho with chicken and Pho with rare beef and short ribs. The small bowl is more than enough. The Pho is served with bean sprouts, lime, jalapeños, Thai basil and culantro. The broth is AMAZING full of flavor. A must try. I overheard they will introduce more items soon.

Not what I expected. Two restaurants in one, Vietnam pho and american dinner. I got very confused with the two types of menu. Large bowl is more like a medium size compare to other pho restaurants. I was extremely disappointed to see, order and try the spring roll. Never again. Am an Asia food lover but this was not good at all for Pho. Almost forgot one waitress asked me why I order tendon and tripe, that she would never eat "that". I was still eating when another waitress brought the check. Not a chance for coffee or desert

Kinda sad that Walter's has now closed but has renewed into a fun and chic pho restaurant. Love the location because it's right off US1 and easy to see. The service was good. they're still getting the kinks and workers back in order but knowing the owner and he's the best. The food was great and from the pictures you can tell it was well worth it. It was the price and the size too. Drinks was great and tasty with great flavor. Definitely coming back and bring friends.

Great food & smooth service! Seasoning changing and cold/flu season was at its worst but this pho hit the spot! Late night noodle craving.

Love this family owned Vietnamese restaurant! Second time dining in and the PHO has me addicted. Consider me a regular now !

That's the special combo pho.......totally coming back for more!

I have bopped around the world a couple times already, been the Vietnam fell in love with the food out there. Was in Duluth Georgia and would always chow down in the tiny little shop out there to get my pho fix. I am not gonna lie, I was very skeptical of a pho joint here in cutler Bay Area. I mean, Walter's is where you go for some bitching grinds for breakfast, omelettes? Yes please. I decided to take a chance a push aside my preconceived notion that this is gonna be "mid". Friends and neighbors.....listen up, this place is fantastic! I devoured the grilled pork rolls with a hand around my plate after the first bit to keep any potential theft of my tasty treat. Then came the special combo pho I believe it's the a P.1 in the menu. It came rolling steaming and oooooooo buddy you know I was huffing that bad boy to get the full experience. First tentative bite had me dreaming of Saigon already, I was about to go find me some bai hoi(cheapest beer in the world but oh so tasty to complete it) now I am actually writing the review as I slurp away....nom nom nom indeed! I am happy I put my bias to one side. Sergio(the owner) buddy you hit this out of the park!!!

Honestly, the pho broth is the best I've had- did not need any hoisin sauce fish sauce AT ALL. Super flavorful. The meat was average but very tasty nonetheless, tendon is my fav so I'm probably bias. THE VIETNAMESE COFFEE THO?!?... crave-able Spring roll is home made, I highly recommend. Summer roll with the transparent rice paper was ok the sauce was fire. The service was amazing her family makes the food themselves & you can tell she really wants you to love it & is open to feedback.

Food is absolutely amazing!! This is our new late night routine. We loved our waitress, she was so friendly and helpful. The new look of the restaurant goes perfect with the new food! Empty bowls every time!!!

Good, but Pho is too expensive compared to Five Spice in Homestead . You get a small bowl , little meat or protein and for $19.00.

It isn't just the pleasant establishment filled with really happy customers constantly expressing how wonderful their meal is. It isn't just the amazing food that tastes better than at any other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. It isn't the impeccable service that never falters except perhaps allowing the water glass to empty without noticing. And it isn't just. It is a combination of all of those things along with the family owned business with the owners on site making sure not only that every meal is perfect but also that every customer feels welcome. I just love this place. The see-through rolls are my very favorite appetizer. I usually get the shrimp but they must've misheard me and they served me chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu. And I would've sent it back except it was so darn good that I may actually order it from time to time. The spring rolls are also quite good though I didn't have them this visit. Today's choice was the duck in a madaman curry. Served with jasmine rice it was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the duck was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. I savored every bite. My wife had the pad Thai. I have had it several times and been extremely satisfied. Many restaurants make it a bit too sweet but somehow they get the balance of Sweet n Savory perfect every time. The noodles are wonderful, but the flavor of the dish is memorable. For Thai food in the area they're actually is absolutely no other choice as far as I'm concerned. This is the best. I have yet to find anything that they don't make better than anywhere else. I have tried. And I really like the people that own and run the restaurant and the kind service that they give every single visit. Highly recommended.

On my recent visit, the Thai spring rolls were perfectly crisp, and the Tom Yum and spicy lemongrass soups hit those bright, citrusy notes just right. The standout for me, though, was the Khao So, it's rare to find such a well-executed, rich version of this Northern Thai favorite locally. The service was wonderful, attentive without being overbearing. Which made the whole experience feel like dining in a friend's home. I honestly wish I lived closer because this would easily be my weekly go-to. I can't wait to return!

So I jumped on Yelp to look for the nearest highly rated pho restaurant in came across Photastic. The yelp directions brought me to a parking space right in front of the restaurant. We arrived around 8 PM, an hour before closing. We were greeted immediately and sat in a nice table, which was clean and well equipped for a pho meal. Menus and water were brought immediately along with a warm greeting from the waitress. Immediately, I noticed that I had interacted with two members of the staff at each admin, gracious and welcoming. I found the discontinued through the entire meal with other people, stopping by to make sure that everything was perfect and being enjoyed by us. I went to the restroom to wash and noted it to be immaculate. This is usually one of the best signs that a restaurant pays attention to detail and I am always happy to see that they are meticulous. Our order was taken and we were served very quickly. First out was the condiments/toppings. The peanut based sauce for the spring rolls and the vegetables for the pho. We began with Gỏi Cuốn, Vietnamese spring rolls. Traditionally these are fresh shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and lettuce wrapped in thin, translucent rice paper served cold with a savory dipping sauce, often a peanut-based sauce and here they are customized with delicious fresh herbs and vegetables, as well as pork. Personally, I do not like it as much with pork, but had not noticed that it was made this way on the menu when I ordered and next time, I'll ask if it is available without the pork. I will say, however, that is hands-down, the very best Gỏi Cuốn I have ever eaten. My wife and I both ordered pho. She chose the chicken while I opted for the steak and meatball. We found all of the meats very chewy in texture, but they were extremely tasty. The portions were huge and the broth was delicious. The flavorful soups with fresh noodles and ingredients were both spectacular. Portions are excellent. I like mine spicy and the perfect condiments were available right on the table. The Matcha latte Boba tea was quite good as well. Prices were in line with other local restaurants which will somewhat high are right, where I expect them to be locally. The overall experience was great. I did notice that somebody walked in about a minute before the post to closing time and was turned away. While, I find this to be unusual in local family owned restaurants, it is certainly not unreasonable. So if you're a late eater, check the hours before arriving. This was my first visit in this restaurant has moved right onto my list of favorite comfort foods nearby my home. If you like pho, I highly recommend you try it.

I ordered take out and all I have to say is this: DISGUSTING…read more Let me preface by saying that I am from Minnesota where there is the 2nd largest population of Southeast Asians in the country- so there are TONS of Pho restaurants and ingredients imported straight from the source. With that being said... I was excited to maybe find a decent Pho place here in Miami and by the reviews and pictures, figured I'd give Miss Saigon a try. So gross. The noodles were waaayyy over cooked (and did arrive separate from the broth, so it wasn't an issue of the broth continuing the cook en route) and thus they were about 3-4 inches long. Not the long pull and chewy goodness I expect from pho. But okay, pho is about the broth and the meats. I got the pho Miss Saigon (meatball, lean flank, brisket and tendon) but it also had tripe, which I really dislike. The meat was the problem. It tasted like play-dough. The broth, I could tell before even adding it to the noodles, was bland (the color was watered down apple juice, NOT the rich, umami dark brown/amber color it should be) and lacked the aromatics and complex flavors that makes pho pho. But it tasted like play-dough. The noodles, the meat, it all just permeated a play-dough taste. I hate wasting food so I tried to force feed myself as much as I could but after spitting out 3 mouthfuls, I just threw it away. Because it tasted like play-dough. Also, the broth leaked and spilled all over the plastic bag it came in, so I had to first siphon as much broth out of the plastic bag and into the soup bowl as I could before I could even eat it. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. YUCK.

A month ago I wanted to go again and remembered that there was more than one location. Came to find out one closer to me situated across FIU on 107th ave. All of the sudden the 107 in the name made sense. I asked if that location was the 'OG', and they confirmed it was and hence the seemingly random name. Service was good. There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The ambience is basic, but definitely a more elevated look than that of your typical Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend
