    Italiano Sandwich
    Angelica O.

Wes told to try this sandwich place out and i was a bit worried since it is in Daly City so I thought parking must be a mess but i was wrong, Parking is all over and right in front of the location. You walk in and put your order in, i bought some extra snacks and then i got my sandwich. There is a huge sign of the different sandwiches and it's all for 12.99. The sandwiches are HUGE, you could share them and thats exactly what i did. I ordered an Italiano. As you order it they ask you to"with everything?" Although i dont like MAYO i said yes. How can you give a good review without trying it just like it's suppose to be? The sandwich was great! Perfect crunch. Evenly amount of condiments and fillings. And such a great deal. So much bang for your price. Worth every shot so definitely try them

It's been a while since I've been to this location and it's still as good as I remember. For as many sandwich I've eaten in my life, Miss Tomato will always be near the top of my favorite places. This time I ordered the Carnivore and this sandwich was STACKED. 8 different types of meats, cheese, their secret sauce and all the toppings you want. I didn't think having all those different meats in one sandwich would be enjoyable but the taste was so different but in a good way. Lots of flavor. Good mix of Salty, savory and sweet. Slight bitterness from the greens blended it perfectly. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was the bread. Slightly tough, tasted a little stale, but edible. This is also a convenience/liquor store so there is no shortage of drink options/snacks/chips to go along with your sandwich. Nice people, good service, and later hours than most sandwich spots. Perfect for that late night bite. If someone asked me where to get a sandwich in Daly City, I wouldn't hesitate to throw this in as one of their choices. Not my personal favorite sandwich place, but it's definitely in my top 5.

Utilized the yelp elite experience and it was worth the 1 hr drive. The Mediterranean sando was well stacked with turkey & roast beef and the spice pesto was a unique flavor profile. The soft sourdough held up well with each bite! Friendly service and the sando was made with passion as a return visit is in the near future.

Have you ever watched Kim's convenience on Netflix? Well... here we have it located in the heart of Daly City! This store has everything you need!! Super huge inside. They have all different types of snacks and beverages. You could litterally find almost anything here. They even have a sandwich shop!! We ordered a pastrami sandwich and a roast beef sandwich. We took a look around the store and found a few other items to pick up. We got a baklava dessert and 2 lychee beverages. The gentleman who assisted us was very kind, helpful, patient, and overall wonderful customer service. I will definitely be coming back here because the gentleman who assisted me has outstanding service. Very pleasant. This place has a variety of different snacks and desserts. Snacks from different countries too!! The place is clean, and everything was stacked neatly together. Thank you Miss Tomato staff! I will definitely be coming back. Oh yea.. on another note. Their sandwhiches are a hearty portion for the price. The meat was also a hearty portion. Definitely will be coming back for their sandwich. It was very fresh and delicious.

Just look at how big the sandwiches are with all the ingredients! I tried the Anna Banana and the BBQ Sandwich. I'm really curious about Miss Tomato's secret sauce -- it's so unique and delicious! I was already full halfway through one sandwich. This is such a unique sandwich shop, and it's located inside a liquor store. You can park right in front for 15 minutes, and there are so many different sandwich options to choose from. I can't wait to go back and try more!

First time trying out this deli, although I had driven by countless amount of times. Super cute name, and inside was pretty spacious with a variety of items/groceries also being sold. As a vegetarian, they only had one option, so I customized my own sammy. The gentlemen taking my order were very accommodating and flexible with my order. I got an avo and 3-cheese on dutch crunch, with all the veggies, sauces, and sprouts. The finished product was bigger than my head :) Tasted pretty great! The sandwich was very well made and nothing was oozing out too much. The bread tasted fresh and warm from the toaster. Would definitely go back again to try something different. Parking outside was convenient and I think because it was raining outside, it wasn't too busy inside. I didn't have to wait in a line and it was great!

I've had occasional sandwiches from the Daly City Miss Tomato location for years as part of my lunch rotation - until they recently cut the Veggie Mama. I didn't see it on the board anymore so I asked why it's gone. "THE EGGPLANT." But that's why I sought out the sandwich. I guess I didn't order it enough. Now their veggie option, called the Miss Tomato Health Kicks, is just like every other boring ensemble-cast vegetable sandwich you can get anywhere else. The only real differentiator now is the military-grade garlic spread that I continue tasting multiple days later. I still can't decide if I low-key like it or if it's instead a weapon of mass stankiness. Probably both but it seriously skunks me up for hours and then some. I do still get a kick out of the cranky older dude who makes the sandwiches but he's not very nice - and inevitably I get caught in the line to pay behind some goofball debating flavors to vape. Sketchy place but I've always liked it - I'm just not sure now when I'll return given the loss of the Veggie Mama.

Great sandwich with quality ingredients. The bread was fresh and delicious. Old bread can ruin a sandwich, and that's not the case here.

I tried a box with different flavors, including strawberry, blueberry, banana, mango, s'mores, and Oreo. Each one looked elegant and fun, with generous cream and toppings. My favorites were the fruit-based ones because they tasted lighter and balanced the richness of the cream nicely. The pastries are definitely more on the indulgent side, so I'd recommend getting a few flavors to share with friends. Overall, this is a lovely bakery for a sweet treat, photos, and a fun dessert stop. Quick service as well.

Crème Strawberry Choux ($6.50): +Choux au Craquelin had a slight crisp to it, and the chocolate added a bitter richness. +Strawberry Chantilly cream on top was not too sweet. +Shell was stuffed with pastry cream mixed w/tart strawberry bits. +Strawberry slices were ripe and sweet. -Strawberry Chantilly cream looked the part, but lacked strawberry flavor. Side notes: 1.) $0.15 fee for credit cards 2.) It's a grab and go spot, but there are tables around the mall. 3.) Free parking in the Serramonte parking lot *Verdict: Even though the choux shells were better this time around, I enjoyed the flavors from last time more. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was in Serramonte I'd stop by to see what flavors they had.
