And he asked me if I was stressed out about my father adding ice cream to his Thai ice tea. I thought that was funny, he turned my really bad day into a wonderful day. I felt way better. Simple kindness acts like that is what matters. He's great. He deserves a raise. He's always working when I come. He's absolutely awesome. Drinks always turn out to be fresh and very delicious. I have completed a stamp card here, which is kind of an expensive journey, about $7 to $10 per drink. I have had no issues with the service here. The ambiance is very much take out, there is a small bench to sit on and two chairs next to a trash can. In my opinion this business is best enjoyed along with a walk!

If you order outside of that block then there's a 6 dozen cookies minimum which was not enough honestly after sharing some with the birthday party. LOL. Her cookies are delicious. I ordered 2 dozen matcha crinkles and 4 dozen ube crinkles and I'm absolutely floored. Not only are they consistent in sizing, but they're also delicious in every bite. Still obsessed. He explains there aren't many flavors left because most of his business is through online orders. We asked him to help us pick out 4 cupcakes, and he was pretty chatty about them all. After we picked out our 4 cupcakes, he gave us one for free (wow - thanks so much). That took the sting out of $6 cupcakes. The place is a bakery and store front, but no seating. They have cupcakes, mochi donuts, savory muffins, and various drinks. Their baked good are made with rice flour and coconut milk, so their cupcakes are light and moist. They kinda have a mochi-coconut flavor, but not the sticky mochi texture. Most of their cupcakes have some type of filling inside, which adds to the moistness. All their flavors are really creative, and some of the ones we got today I don't even see on their online menu. The instructions say best served heated for a few seconds, but I found the cream gets too melty. It tastes fine without heating imo. What we got: + Ube cookies and cream - ube and coconut forward. Yum. + Guava - this had a dollop guava jam on top and some squirted inside too. The guava adds just the perfect bit of tartness to the cupcake. + Nutella - there's a dollop of nutella on top that fills part of cupcake inside. + Churro Biscoff - pretty gooey inside, which may be due to heating it a few seconds. Still very yummy. It's a good thing I don't live close to one of these stores or I'd be here every day. I prefer these to Sprinkles cupcakes for the same price point.

She asked how I heard about this place and walked me through the options. I chose the S'mores and Ube Oreo bibingkas. I also shared the Binka Ube Cheesecake with my husband. Not sure what makes it 'cheesecake' because it was topped with leche flan. It was a good not too sweet treat. My favorite was the S'mores though, because the chocolate frosting added a nice sweetness that complemented the bibingka. The store was spacious, airy, and had a lot of light coming in. They also offer Filipino food, coffee/matcha, and smoothies.
