Came here strictly for the boba, because this is the only spot nearby advertising itself as a boba spot. Can't speak to the food. Located in kind of a weird spot off what is a very busy street, though winding down towards the end of all that business, sits this shop that's up a small flight of stairs, and looks like the exit to a kitchen from the back of a restaurant, can be easy to miss. The boba advertised was all over the walls, and menu full and upfront, so I said, sure why not. First things first, the boba was nasty. It's the pre-made ones, which you can tell because there's no actual center core to them, and just boba that was made before and then cut into shards, which is what makes them very nasty. For a boba advertising boba upfront, this was the biggest offense. Now, the tea wasn't awful. It's the floral version of the milk tea. But at over $8 for a small cup sized boba, that was not acceptable at all. The food here actually looks pretty good, though it's kinda a weird fusion of a few cuisines, though mainly Chinese food, but if you want to focus on food, then focus on food. Don't put up boba pictures and posters everywhere and then pretend you're a boba place when you're not. As a boba enthusiast, I was very unthused. read more

This was the worst food I've ever had. I'm not a picky eater by any means, but this place was horrendous; from the food to the ambience, it actually took away my appetite after a few bites. They put a few grapes in place of the advertised fresh pineapple (without telling us), the rice tasted overcooked, cold, & burnt, the shrimp were so overcooked that they were mushy (as well as having a ton of poop still in them), the spring rolls weren't crispy or tasty-- it was mushy inside with an indistinguishable veggie flavor, and the chicken katsu tasted like flattened McDonald's nuggets... very poor quality. The "salad" was a few small pieces of lettuce drenched in dressing. I'm not sure how this place is still open for business because it was by far the worst restaurant I've ever experienced. read more

My mom and I walked pass this place and we checked it out, (we were tired of walking to be honest!) BUT the owner of this business really did a GREAT job making our food and bubble teas!!! We applaud her for how quick the service was and for making our food fresh. food was delicious! We will be going back to try the skewers! Try the Taro Bubble Tea, and The Beef Fried Noodles! We waited for over 45 minutes (they were also not busy at the time whatsoever) just to get bland, mediocre food. The rice of the spam musubi fell apart as soon as it was opened and the spam tasted like it was straight out of the can, no sauce or flavor. The garlic shrimp was weirdly sour. The "tossed bread with spam and egg" was the most plain, sad meal with such thinly sliced spam and one small egg. And the fried rice tasted bland. Ordered through Uber Eats because my son wasn't feeling well. Found several hairs in my bland, unseasoned food. One of which ended up in my son's mouth. I tried calling the store several times. I believe they have it hooked up to a cell phone and just kept sending calls to voicemail. Their location isn't even correct in Google Maps, it initially sends you to a deserted road on Monsarrat. You have to type in the actual address, not the name of the restaurant. I put my son in the car and drove down there to get new plates made. The owner was incredibly rude considering it was her hair in the food. The only other person there had very short hair. She claimed it couldn't be because her hair was tied back. But, it was disheveled with flyaways. I worked in restaurants for 16 years. It's not uncommon for things like this to happen. Their reaction though was completely unacceptable. read more

Coconut shrimp and Spicy garlic shrimp are BOMB. Everything is made fresh and comes out super hot. It is also priced reasonably compared to other tourist spots in the area. Not your normal sit down restaurant, more like a hole in the wall but so good!! Definitely recommend going here!!! read more
