The vibes are also different but I had a good time with my coworkers. The teacher went a little fast with her instructions and when asked to grab equipment, we grabbed a ball and loop but only ended up using a loop. Front desk area was clean and cute and had plenty of seats while you wait for class to start. They also have cubbies for you to store your items.

Pro's: -Clean, modern facility -friendly, encouraging instructors that call you by name and privately fix your form if it needs correction -They have evening and weekend classes for those that work during the weekdays Cons (and this is a major con): The price. No other Yelpers mention how much it costs. But, it is very expensive. Monthly unlimited access is $179 (last month was $143), once a week class is $79, a single class is $30 (their rival, The Dailey Method only charges $25). I get unlimited access at my local gym (pool, weight room, cardio room, and all group fitness classes) at only $49 per month. Also, the baldheaded gentleman by the name of Mel. I think he is the manager or owner of this studio is really pushy and tries to get new members to start paying the $143 monthly fee (now $179) right after the first free class. It made me feel really taken aback, shocked, and uncomfortable. I thought I would other potential new members who want to take the first free class or let Kristen, the owner of this studio know, so that she can talk to Mel and ask him to tone down his pushyness because it could turn away or turn off potential new clients. I know it did for me. Luckily, my local YMCA did tell me they are going to start offering evening Barre Classes so I don't have to spend absurd amounts of money on a membership here.

They take the time to explain movements, offer modifications, and make everyone feel comfortable, no matter their fitness level. What I especially love is that it's so welcoming for people of all ages, including those of us who may be a little older or haven't spent years working out in a gym. The classes help you build strength, improve balance and flexibility, and gain confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment. I highly recommend Club Pilates to anyone looking to improve their health and overall well-being!

I've been coming to Club Pilates (CP) in Loehmann's Plaza for just over a month now, and I'm really…read moresatisfied with this location's space, instructors, and cleanliness. I've taken Reformer Flow 1, Control 1.5, and recently booked a few Reformer Flow 1.5 classes. I like that CP has classes throughout the day, seven days a week so there's lots of options if you're flexible. They also offers Reformer Flow 2 and 2.5 if you're more advanced. Compared to the Midtown location, CP - Sacramento is more spacious and I like that there's mirrors on both walls to check your form. Classes are engaging, and I like that I'm able to challenge myself here. The only downside is that classes can be competitive to book, so I plan my schedule a month in advance once my credits become available. While there are waitlists, it's very impacted given the amount of interest. Parking is shared, but not impossible to find. I'm loving my membership, but wish there were more Reformer Flow 1.5 classes in the evening.

The…read morechildcare staff are incredible and the space my daughter gets to play in is fun and clean. Sometimes she doesn't even want to leave! This allows me the time to get a good uninterrupted workout in while knowing she is having a great time. I am truly so grateful to have the space and peace of mind. I also love a couple of the class instructors (Christine? yoga, and a cycle instructor). Was hesitant at first because of the gym feel and demographic, but I feel right at home and have had uplifting and meaningful experiences along with great workouts in these classes. I usually can find what I'm needing for my workouts as well but depends on time of day of course. I wish childcare was available midday for this reason. Locker rooms are always clean and stocked. Cons(ish): Wish the cafeteria was more of a thing. That would be a huge perk. I also wish the outdoor weight area was cleaned up and covered. I hate how crowded the indoor weight area is and this feels like it would be a nice option if there was upkeep. I feel like these things should be included in the cost so hopefully that is on the docket for an upgrade soon.

Unfortunately, I had to give up my my membership after 6 years due to many factors! Rio del Oro only caters to kids which I completely understand! The only issue is the kids run the place and some of their parents support their bad behavior! I have observed over the years teenagers throwing heavy weights in the pool, a chair thrown in one of the pools, kids crossing lanes to interrupt adults doing lap swims, a young kids yelling as I went for another lap tell his mother mom that I said she was a bitch... I told her it didn't happen.. some dude told her that I didn't like didn't like kids A friend who was a member approached her to let her know she was absolutely beautiful and I never said this... I was accused of hating kids and that I couldn't speak English... etc... Along with saying do you know who I am... Unbelievable! Another member who was 20 minutes late, I let him know he lost his lane.. he got his in my face.. I kept on swimming at which time he tried to crash into me with his body to hurt me! No deck personnel to facilitate the rules! I have written so many incident reports... what's written on the schedule can change out on the deck. The masters swim took over the big pool when they are supposed to be in the 6 lane pool! I have felt like I was in the twilight zone me at this Club! The staff are wonderful.. Like I was told many times by the staff, I only work here.. they said we are the last to know... The staff makes Rio Del Oro awesome.. it's management failing to have deck personnel to rein in the kids and their parents! I have moved on to another gym which takes care of unruly kids and their parents! By the way, I have never ever written a bad review in my lifetime... I spent tons of time at Rio Del Oro that what I observed is the truth.. Rio del Oro Management will respond with their classic statement that this a family oriented club...
