Really really really well done. First time on e-bikes. Fun. But the best part was the history. Theressa knows her early American history, culture, architecture, et al. We all wore ear pieces so she was talking to us as we rode. A professional tour. Thank you.

You go 1 mile to this waterfall and turn around

Go early. Pet friendly and pets love jumping in the water!! Super easy and convenient. To relax, 1 hour, to work out, 2 hrs. You park and head to the trailer right by the ramp to sign a waiver and get a life jacket. Make sure u wear shoes u can get wet bc your shorts and shoes will get wet 100%. Wear sunscreen(: I had a blast it's def something to do to get active outside

(Espanda Park)This was a great little excursion especially to relieve some of this cabin fever! This may be one of San Antonio's little known secrets. Nice easy relaxing time down the San Antonio River surrounded by lush greenery throughout and wild life of different kinds birds, ducks and turtles. We had an excellent time. All the people from reservations, check in on location to the kayak hand were very friendly and helpful. After or before kayaking one can walk on the paved trails, fish from the banks or use one of the picnic tables to picnic. There are public bathrooms and the area is pretty clean throughout. This particular time was only adults but I've already booked another for the family. This business is owned and run by ex military. They are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and some holidays. Carefully to read all maps and instructions  to arrive 10 minutes early. They were very adamant in explaining  3 very important rules: 1)Life vest are required, "a must" as I was told 2) Absolutely no beer or alcohol of any kind allowed 3) No swimming of any kind. Violating any of these rules will result in a $500 fine (each).  Cancellations must be made 3 days in advance, if you are a no show for your excursion, you will forfeit your payment.  Waivers must be signed prior and can be easily done online to enforce contact free. Kayakers have 2 options King Williams and Espanda Park, 1 or 2 hour experiences and single or tandem kayaks.  Ask for military discount. Email may be best way to reach them as they are extremely busy.  We were told that Kayaks/vests/paddles are sanitized after each use with bleach water solution.

Had a great day on the river trail w/Theresa our guide. It was a Pluss having an ear piece so she could easily give us pointers & history along the route while moving. She gave us just enough information at the two missions. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon!

Had a great time and beautiful day/scenery. Would recommend to see missions and gain insight into area. Enjoyed getting out in nature (wouldn't know you are in a metro area). Tour went by fast! Excellent info, bikes in great conditions.

Had a great time kayaking with mission adventure. Making the reservation online was an easy process and when we got to the river we were able to walk right up and get to our boat. If you are thinking about go make sure to book days in advance if possible because slots fill up quick.

This sold us on kayaking!! We had THE greatest time, booking was breeze and Jim, our guide? PHENOMENAL! He was so patient and kind with us 3 women who were a trifecta of kayaking challenged. See attached photo: 2 of us going one way and the 3rd going another.

We rented kayaks in the King Williams area and what a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Reservations were easy online, kayaks were ready as soon as we arrived and we were on the water in minutes. For sure will be back again!

We had an awesome bike tour today with Mission Adventure Tours! Theresa was so knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe with covid precautions and bike safety. Cannot recommend enough to have a enjoyable and healthy time in San Antonio!

Art museums, hotels, the courthouse, and more can be accessed from the River, so it's easily a huge part of the heart of downtown. The city keeps doing more and more to make the space memorable, so permanent art installations, parks, and other similar features keep getting added as time goes on. The shop itself was wonderfully decorated and had a wide variety of books and souvenirs. I went to the shop a few times during the week we were there. All of the customer service staff at the shop were amazing, one of which went digging through boxes in the back for 5 minutes so they could find my size in a shirt I really wanted. Since my partner and I were there to celebrate my birthday, we decided to splurge for the bus tour so I could see the local cemeteries. Our tour guide was Lady Lex who had big theatre kid energy in the best way. She was incredibly engaging and patient with everyone who wanted to take a lot of photos. Our bus driver Robert was great as well. I was truly appreciative of Lady Alex's statement at the cemetery that while the stories are intriguing, ultimately they are about real people who lost their lives and we should respect the tragedy of that. While I love a good ghost/true crime story, I think it's important to humanize the subjects of those stories. Overall I had a fantastic time and was really thrilled to see the beautiful architecture of the Menger Hotel and local cemetery. I would definitely recommend the shop and the tour.
