The noise was caused by vibrations in the outdoor mounts, it was suggested by the technician that first he could tighten the mounts and if that fixed the problem it wouldn't cost anything additional, should the noise comeback within a reasonable time later they could come back without an additional service charge and and go into the unit and determine what additional work the unit required and only bill for the additional work and parts. I agreed and so far about 4 days later everything is running quietly! I really am glad I found this place I highly recommend them!

They lived up to their great reviews, from the initial contact phone call all the way to the conclusion of the installation of my new unit. Derek, the estimate technician who arrived at my home on April 23rd, was knowledgeable and addressed my questions and offered options. He was at my home for over two hours! He offered me several options, without pressuring me, simply explaining the benefits of each option. His willingness to explore my request to remove current water outflow pipe that had been on the garage floor for decades, presenting a safety risk, and route it another way outside was taken seriously and creatively. He took me through the plan and I was so pleased. The technicians who arrived the next day to do the install, Gary, James and Kauntes, were excellent workers. Gary was in charge and went over the plan with me in detail. He was able to troubleshoot a few issues and get the job done! All three of them were courteous and, without being asked, applied shoe coverings every time they entered the house. They cleaned up after themselves. Gary kept me apprised of their progress. Everyone from the owner to the ones answering the phones are all so kind and courteous. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was due to the install. I've always heard that it's not so much about the brand you choose as much as how good the install is. Not quite sure what happened with that because I was out of town during the install. Thankfully in our case the error was caught by the city inspector and Gould's sent out someone the same day to correct Even with that, I would still choose to go with Gould's because of their excellent customer service. Errors and breakdowns can be fixed but bad customer service will send me to a competitor.
