Mission BBQ at Glen Burnie, MD.
    Kris P.

I live for BBQs and I have to say, I save places like Mission for when my greatest crave for such hit a premium high... I am so glad I finally tried them and thankfully this location worked best to meet with locals in the area. I wanted ribs. Fall off the bone, meaty, and saucy ones. For sides, we shared cheesy potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, and mac n' cheese. I think for a good 5 minutes I couldn't speak ha lol. Let's just say 5 bones was perfect plenty because oh my goodness... the cheesy potatoes were hot and oozing with cheese, baked beans had that tang and perfect texture, and the coleslaw was a nice balance of crisp and cool. Kaylee and Peyton were wonderful in their service during our visit! Upon our departure, a gentleman whose name I did not get, took our trays for us. Every single interaction of the team here, the hospitality, made our visit even more memorable. I especially love the story of Mission BBQ and their mission statement. Plenty of space with big booths and tables but I can imagine the place to get busy during peak times. Parking is ample and space is ADA accesible. Absolutely delicious and such warm hospitality, thank you Mission BBQ at Glen Burnie! Looking forward to our next visit.

I love how my food is always so flavorful and seasoned. The meats are hefty, juicy and fall off the bone good. Then to add the perfect side item...... the green beans...... OMG! Go get you some Mission BBQ!

One of my favorite places to go for lunch, I'm there at least once a week. lol. I like everything there: the moist brisket, ribs, half chicken, pulled pork, sausage are all delicious! They have great side dishes too: Mac and cheese, fresh fries, green beans, collard greens, and seasonal desserts like strawberries short cake, carrot cake are also great! I always get their ice tea with my meal. The service is above and beyond top notch! The food is great and comes out fast. I always feel welcome there with their amazing staff, a shout out to Thomas and Coleman, who always greet me by name. I also love that if I make it there by noon, we sing the national anthem together. I appreciate the honor with the pictures of our nation's hero that decorate the restaurant. That's all the many reasons why I keep going back.

We used this Mission BBQ to cater a big event we had (120 people). They were really great to work with on the phone ordering the food. The lady who delivered it was also great as well. She called ahead of time. Then she told me she would come early because she knew how long it would take her to set up that much food and she wanted to have everything set up on time. She also brought extra paper products (more than we ordered). She was so friendly and helpful. All the food tasted great. Will definitely cater from them again. We ordered: -brisket -pulled pork -Mac and cheese -green beans -cornbread -cookies and brownies -banana pudding

Moist Brisket (choose Moist or Lean), green beans and bacon, corn bread (wrapped in foil). Different sauces. Assorted classic bottle colas.

The brisket was super good! I love the variety of bbq sauces. I got the slaw and the green beans with bacon on the side and they were both good. 1 star less for the corn bread coz i thought it was very dry. Service was fast and friendly. I love how the place is clean, homey, and very appropriately decorated. Lots of interesting stuff on the walls to look at while waiting for the food to arrive. I was so excited to see the army truck on display outside. It matches the whole vibe. There is an outdoor seating area too!

    * Great service. Friendly and polite. * Really authentic BBQ. * Nice variety of sides. * Comfortable seating * They honor our military and veterans. We've come here as a couple. Each of us has dined here alone. And we've come in small groups. Everyone we know loves this particular Mission.

Staff were all friendly, food was prepared fast and definitely delicious. If you get a chance to dine in, check out the decor.

I am such a fan of Mission BBQ! The concept of fast yet fresh food BBQ is amazing. All restaurants are big on customer service and they greet you as soon as you walk in the door. This location is no exception and you can tell because it's packed every time I decide to dine here. I've tried many of their items: pulled pork slider (NC style aka topped w/ coleslaw), brisket, ribs, pulled chicken, green beans, man n cheese, peach cobbler, and more! Today I had my favorites and they did not disappoint. Food: Grilled shrimp, cornbread, fries, collard greens Drink: 1/2 lemonade 1/2 unsweetened tea Overall: I love this chain and will be back soon!

You can tell people really like this place. Lots of options on the menu. I went with the classic Eggs Benedict, which here comes with an interesting twist -- they add cheddar cheese. That was new to me. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle with sausage. They didn't ask patty or link, so we rolled the dice -- it came as links, and she wasted no time eating them. The waffle filled her up quickly. Fresh blueberries on top, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, and sweet in all the right ways. When my Eggs Benedict arrived, it looked a little small at first and the potatoes barely filled the plate. But don't let that fool you. What a flavor. What a presentation. The hollandaise was perfect -- thick enough that it barely dripped off the muffins. Once the creamy yolk broke and mixed into that sauce, it was game over. The cheddar addition actually works, giving the whole dish another layer of richness. This is top-tier classic Benedict. Coffee was solid, the atmosphere cozy, and the pricing surprised me in a good way. My daughter's meal was $5.99, with only a $0.75 upcharge for juice, which is hard to beat these days. Good service, good food, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat. We'll definitely be back!!!

We wanted something healthish to take with us to-go for our long 5+hr plane ride from BWI to SJC, because those Southworst snacks weren't gonna cut it. Nalley Fresh seemed like a great choice with their veg-heavy menu and low-fat proteins. The Good: *Service is friendly but curt--which I don't mind if you're handling your business like a boss, which they were. *Lots of premade healthy options for you to select from, or one can do a Chipotle-style á la carte pick your own adventure option for their salads, wraps, and bowls. *Prices are reasonable at around ±$12 (remember this is an airport) The Meh: *We both liked our options (I got the "Healthy" & the lil' lady got the "Greek") and overall they were decent but we both felt like they just needed a little more flavor, salt, or something. I did appreciate how they added some nuts and/or seeds for texture, which is something a lot of these places overlook. The Ugly: *The wraps were a bit messy to eat on the plane, but not terrible. Next time I'm going with a bowl or salad. Conclusion: Probably 3.5* overall, but since we'd most likely be back I'll bump it up to 4*.

My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

This time I sat in the dining room... completely different experience. Order & food: * I asked for tater tots and got fries instead. It took so long just to get a soda that I didn't bother sending them back. * Fries: over-salted and generic -- nothing special. * Tater tots: still the move here. Don't skip them. * Jalapeño burger (with the jalapeño popper puck + added cheese): flavor idea is good, but the build was sloppy. * Shredded lettuce/tomato made it messy * Nobody asked temp -- it came out overdone Service & seating: * Sat at a handicapped table, which felt awkward. * Service in the dining room was slow and inconsistent: long wait for drinks, minimal check-ins, no follow-up. * The vibe felt off -- even basic interactions felt different than what I've had at the bar. I didn't wait around for dessert or anything -- paid the tab, tipped what matched the service, and left. Bottom line: This place isn't one experience -- it's two. Bar side: consistent, attentive, worth it. Dining room: slow, sloppy, and not on the same level. There are other spots doing burger deals going in the Rotation now!
