Food is absolutely delicious and high-quality! Always feel great after eating here. There's no tipping, but the staff are insanely nice. Asking if you want anything brought your table. Letting you try free samples when you're trying to order. And we love trying all the barbecue sauces thank you. I think we are gonna need that.

Ribeye was great. The ribs were good as well but the ribeye was nice and tender. The service after we ordered was unexpected, they were attentive and asked how our experience was going. They also asked if it was our first time at the restaurant, which it was. They offered to clear our table when we were done eating and also noticed I ordered the black plate special which was the ribeye and told us it changes often. One of the staff asked if we tried the special peach cobbler and we did not since we thought we ordered plenty. She offered to give us a complimentary cobbler on her since it was our first time there, the cobbler was very tasty. The overall experience was great with the staff experience being the best next to the ribeye. As a thank you for visiting they even gave us 2 free sandwich cards for our next visit. It's too bad we do not live in the area but the service was great. Thank you

Narrative: Family Trip to Green Bay Food: Lots of different BBQ options. Walking in, you can smell the smoky goodness right away. We tried the brisket (wet), pulled pork, and salmon. The sides we had were fries, beans, and sweet potato casserole. We enjoyed everything. I recommend the smoked meatloaf when it's on special, it looked amazing. My wife and I split a three meat platter with two sides and had plenty of good to share. I loved the sauce variety, each one was unique in its own way. You have six at the table to choose from and a few more seasonal options if those don't work for you. Aesthetic: The restaurant was clean and in tip top shape. Lots of seating options for various group sizes. The whole mission of the chain is to honor those who serve - Military, Police, Fire, EMS. The decoration of the interior shows that appreciation and dedication, especially to hometown heroes. Service: Service here was some of the best in the business. We had never been to this chain and the friendly lady at the front walked us through the whole menu and how to order and made suggestions. Staff came out into the seating area to check on guests, clean up tables, and just say thanks for coming in. They went above and beyond a counter service restaurant. Price: Prices were a tad on the higher side but quality was high and service was excellent. Portions are standard, you won't leave with a to-go box but you will be satisfied. Why You Should Go: Great BBQ with amazing customer service. They understand how to build repeat guests and retain them right from the first visit.

Stopped in for a large "to go" order and everything was great! What stood out for me was the service. Because it was a bunch of individual orders, I had asked if they would write names on each order so we could easily identify our food (without opening each container). They had not problem with the request... and even put a smiley face on each box! I had the brisket. It was moist and tasty. Portion was good and included a piece of cornbread. For a side I had the green beans with bacon. Had a little spice to it, but not too bad. It was refreshing to go into a "fast" food counter type restaurant and be greeted by friendly people who really seemed to be happy to help!

Great service! Great Mission! Highly recommend the pork sandwich and the 3 meat sampler. Also first time being there they brought us free dessert!

Went here on Wed 3-1-2023 @ about 2:15pm... I have never had Mission BBQ's food before but I have read good things. Also, my VFW post 7784 catered in some of the food for one of their monthly meetings, and I was not able to town and everyone there at my post raved about the food. I only live about a mile from this place. Someone agreed to snap my picture out in front of the restaurant before I went in. He had nothing but good things to say about this place, and said he regularly goes here about once or twice a week and

Clean, happy environment, awesome employees, "Midwest nice" feeling, AMAZING food, great sauces and flavors on every side dish and meat. The memorabilia is of local individuals and departments from the area. Loved looking around and made me proud to be an American. Asia was super personable and professional and stopped at each and every table. She is truly an ambassador on behalf of Mission BBQ and they are lucky to have her.

Came here with family for dinner before a concert and left with pretty mixed feelings…read more The restaurant wasn't very busy, and we were seated immediately. We chose the patio, which ended up being one of the highlights of the visit. It was clean, comfortable, and well shaded, with a few yard games available that gave the space a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Service started off decent but unfortunately declined as the evening went on. Food took an unusually long time to come out, and to the server's credit, she recognized the delay before we even brought it up. She apologized and mentioned that a manager would be stopping by to speak with us. Unfortunately, that never happened, and service continued to deteriorate from there. We started with the nachos and cheese curds. The cheese curds were actually quite good. Crispy, flavorful, and probably one of the stronger items we had. The nachos were decent, though nothing particularly memorable. As for the BBQ, it was unfortunately pretty underwhelming. Especially considering BBQ pricing tends to come with expectations around quality and portion value. The ribs were the biggest disappointment. They were so dry they were nearly inedible, with meat crumbling apart from being overcooked. No amount of sauce could bring them back. The jalapeño cheddar sausage had a good texture, but flavor wise it was just okay and leaned overly salty without much depth. My side salad was forgotten entirely, and the cornbread, while having decent flavor, was very dry. The burnt ends also missed the mark. Rather than having the bark and caramelized texture you typically expect, they appeared to be stewed in BBQ sauce, leaving them mushy and overly sauced instead of smoky and textured. One bright spot was the BBQ sauce selection. There were several options, and they were tasty with enough variety to complement different meats. Overall, this feels like a place with good potential and a really pleasant setup, particularly the patio. I'm not sure if we caught them on an off night, but between the slow service and inconsistent food execution, the experience didn't live up to expectations. That said, I'd consider giving it another try in the future because the foundation is there.

Here's what I got: Armadillo eggs: 4.2/10 - really disappointed in these, dry & flavorless coating, and not much flavor on the inside, brisket was bland and there was no flavor burst from biting in. Barely tasted the cream cheese. Came on a good bed of onion strings though. Sat Dino Rib: 7.3/10 -- Really cool they do these on Saturday's and although they look awesome you'd expect better fat rendering/melting for the time cook. Wasn't fall off the bone but decent tenderness. Flavor wise good pairing with their sauces but not really worth the price. Wings (nashville): 8.1/10 -- probably best thing they have, texture & size are great. Got some spicy garlic sauce on side, that flavor is probably the best. The nashville rub is also good but could have more flavor. Mac & Cheese: 7.6/10 -- creamy & solid but nothing out of ordinary for Wisco. Good mac. Coleslaw: 7.8/10 -- Good creamy texture, pretty good slaw, on the sweeter side. Sauces: 8.2/10 -- I really liked their sauces actually, spicy garlic, mustard & pjs were my favorite, made the whole experience a lot better. Their cayenne ranch is great too. Cornbread: 7.5/10 -- solid taste but a little too crumbly. One dino rib, 2 sides, 6 wings and armadillo eggs ran me $60. Even in most major cities I've gotten far better bang for my buck on BBQ.

Fortunately we were rewarded with a pleasant experience that was light on the wallet (for 2020s standards) and made us fans. Don't be fooled by the exterior/interior as it may give a cabin-like feeling when you're around. The staff are diligent in making the tables clear while getting orders ready. They only had two people working who both were doing the cooking, phone orders, in-person orders, and cleaning/bussing. Talk about a do-it-all crew. Now for the eats. I ordered a bowl of booyah and some cheese curds while pops had a plain burger. My first time having booyah, it reminds me of brunswick stew; tons of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, beans, in a thick tomato broth. Tons of flavor and quite filling, there's a reason why they sell quarts of this for tailgating and the cold stay-at-home days. I would dip my cheese curds in here which were also tasty. Right fried texture with a good cheese pull, dip it in the booyah for some of that salty consistency. Talk about a food-cheat code! My pops burger was cooked a perfect medium-rare and for only $6, was quite a bargain. This will be on the rotation whenever I'm in Green Bay for the Booyah and to try other items like their poutine and fried cod dinners. Booyahkasha!

Start out by having to chase the bartender down for a drink and to order, but hey...it's a Packer home weekend so I'm understanding. We ordered our wings "extra crispy" with 5 different types of sauces. I had a hunch when I placed the order that the bartender was like "yeah...ok.." to my crispy wing preference but figured since all they do is wings, they got this, right?! Wrong. Wings came out rubbery and gelatinous like I despise and the ranch/blue cheese would've been better at a 7-11. Since I was hungry and there was nobody who checked back anyways, I ate a few and I'm sure the rest will taste much better after I crisp them up in the air fryer. I paid my bill and the waitress asked "how was everything?" To which I responded "not very good" (which I NEVER DO" because I'm not a picky eater. She turned around and walked away without a word. Cool. Thanks. In summary, go to The Bar, make them at home, but don't waste your $ here. Can't believe they have such a cult following.

The main dining room can get very loud on busy nights so I appreciated the more closed off space for a large dinner event. At minimum, it would've been better to just leave pitchers on the table directly for faster access. Food was hit or miss. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance.
