The food was cooked very good! Lots of choices, but I always come for the brisket and Mac & Cheese. The white sauce from the fridge is my fav. (You don't see it unless you ask for it at the register). The brownies are served at room temperature but I like to eat them nice and warm at home. The reason for my 3 star review is because I paid $20 for a brisket sandwich and a small combo (1 side and a drink) and I left hungry. They weigh the meat before stacking it on your sandwich and I know it provides consistency on their end - but it makes me feel like I'm getting nickel and dimed. Charge me $3-5 more and put a proper amount of meat on my sandwich please. For this reason, I won't go back - I don't eat at places where food or ice cream get weighed, especially not in this economy. read more

This was a great find. We were doing a day teip ouside NYC and this place was AWESOME. Brisket was on point. Really good service- so friendly, they gave us a run down on the menu, changed all our sauces so they were full and fresh, then gave us coupons for free sandwiches that we redeemed on the spot! Went to Mission BBQ for dinner as a family tonight and loved all of it. When you walk in, the people behind the counter wave and welcome you. The decor honors our veterans and service workers. The place is very clean and organized. For food, I had pulled chicken, my boys had pulled pork and husband had the brisket with mac and cheese and fries as sides. Their variety of sauces were wonderful and I enjoyed trying them all. I lived in SC and I am particular about my BBQ and this did not disappoint. The price was very reasonable and quality was high. Decided to try the new Mission BBQ restaurant here. Was a Friday evening about 7p and they were quite busy. I tried to call and place the order over the phone and just pickup - but nobody answered the phone - and there is no online ordering at this location. I got the ribs (5 count) along with fries and slaw - and it was over $20 - not cheap. And not great either - ribs are cooked with a dry rub then you add your own sauce from which they have several choices - but each sauce is very very watery, not good for using with ribs - maybe with a pulled pork or chicken sandwich, but not ribs. For me, ribs are sauced at the end of the cooking over fire, not pour over it after its cooked Taste was eh - not great - not bad - just middle - definitely had much better and worse. read more

I've been eating at Mission BBQ for years and the food is usually really good. I ordered takeout tonight, Meat Market brisket, moist. My order came up. The man behind the counter showed me my platter. I questioned if that was in fact the moist brisket because it looked extremely lean. He assured me it was moist, just cut differently. We order this at least two times a month (if not more!). The chopped brisket sandwich is my husband's favorite. Along with their seasonal (summer) potato salad. The fresh fries are seasoned nicely. The different bbq sauces available to go along with your choices are always good. The Texas Twang is our favorite! I order the pulled chicken sandwich and the serving is huge! Are you kidding me with this place..? This was by far one of the best experiences I've had when it comes to ordering and eating BBQ. My wife and I were in the area and said you know what... time to try Mission BBQ. Have to say, I'm glad we did. The brisket was delicious, sides (also delicious), corn bread (you get the idea) and the sauces were phenomenal. Sometimes restaurants give you a sauce, put a fun name on it, but it tastes the same as generic barbecue sauce. This was not the case here. Each sauce had its own unique flavor and added another element of flavor to the food. Ok ok, food was great but how about the service? Can't be as good as the food can it? The service was top notch. Carter was kind and professional, explained what Mission BBQ does, how they cook their meats, and after our order was ready he took time to go over the sauce options. Great food, fantastic service, and a company that supports our service members and veterans. 5 stars isn't enough in my opinion. read more

We dined here a few times when it was newly opened. As a chain, the food was delish but in certain occasions, the meat was a lukewarm appeared the meat was sitting in the kitchen for a bit perhaps not high turnover during the times we ate there. Well to begin...Had the pulled pork traditional for dinner with some cold slaw. Cold slaw had good, but the pulled pork was not on the other hand. No flavor besides the ones that are on the dining table to try. Like Russian roulette with the watered down sauces. Family had some baby back ribs, fired and baked beans. Again side were good, but ribs were something else. I get the internal temperature but it was still pink. I was disgusted just watching them trying to find something eatable. Restaurant supports military and first responders by displaying all the different ranks, unit patches, badges, etc. i know it's not mandatory but when asked if they give first responders and military discount they flat out said NO! I'm a Southern Gal from Southeast Georgia and this BBQ is Outstanding! Everything from customer service, food presentation, overall food quality and taste!!! Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage and BBQ Shrimp all cooked to perfection- me and my husband couldn't decide on a favorite sauce because we liked them all!!! The sides were exquisite slaw, cheesy potatoes, macaroni and cheese and baked beans all perfect! We also enjoyed the carrot cake....if I had to say anything that may need improvement it would be that the cornbread could be more moist. We will be going back and are thankful that we now have a delicious much needed restaurant choice now! read more

I've been to this place a few times and thought it was pretty good. Tonight I went and ordered a pulled pork sandwich. My meal was ready and a kid who was mopping the floor brought my tray to the counter. However, it was not a sandwich....just pulled pork on the tray. I told him it was supposed to be a sandwich and he went over to get a bun, and then proceeded to scoop up the meat from my tray by hand with his floor mopping gloves still on and plop it on the bun. I couldn't believe what I just saw. I was so disgusted that I didn't touch the food after that and I left. This restaurant really needs to train their workers how to conduct themselves in the food industry. Just disgusting. read more

Visited Mission BBQ Hamilton on Mother's Day 2023. No fancy dinner for my wife, she simply wanted her beef brisket. Well, she got that and a lot more. We all had a wonderful time due to the outstanding service provided by Jill who was stationed outside taking pictures of families by the big BBQ truck. Based on the line when they first opened, I figured that I had to try it. I mean, I have been sampling BBQ from NJ to Florida when driving down every year. I was impressed- I have never eaten boiled brisket in my entire life. Brisket is cooked low and slow on a pit, and while it can be dry at times, it is always cooked in a smoker- juicy on the inside.. with a bark on the outside. It wasn't the case here.
