Overall, it was a good experience, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was a bit slow. It took a bit longer than expected for us to be greeted and to receive our food considering it was the middle of the day and just about empty. That said, the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional throughout our visit. With a little improvement in the speed of service, this location would easily earn 5 stars. I had a recent experience here that made me give an extra star just because of the wonderful customer service. I believe the manager's name is Scott (very very very tall man). He was so kind and courteous, and quickly rectified the problem. You could tell his apology for the overcooked steak was genuine. He made the bad experience a much better one just by being kind and accommodating. In addition, the red rock shrimp was fantastic along with the rice they give which is delicious. I haven't been to a LongHorn Steakhouse in years. But the few times my family and I went to this location it was overall good. The food was delicious and flavorful, the ambiance was good too because the place had some nice decorations, and the the service was overall good as well. There were no major complaints from us anytime we went as everything overall tasted good. The location where this is at is convenient and it's overall a decent steakhouse. May not be the best one out there, but it's still a good location to visit and worth trying if you want a good steak. Try their steaks and sides as they're all pretty flavorful. read more

The service was excellent, friendly, quick, and efficient and even on a busy night, the wait was only about 10 to 20 minutes, which is very reasonable for how popular the place is. The star of the meal was without a doubt the ribeye steak. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor, it is honestly some of the best quality steak you can get for such a reasonable price. Pairing it with the fresh salad and the shrimp, which were both just as flavorful, made for a well rounded meal that left me more than satisfied. What stood out most is that everything about this place just works from the atmosphere, to the food, to the attentive service. That time of year when I eat and receive my free Birthday Trest. My server, Mackenzie, greeted me with such a happy attitude with a smile all the time while speaking to me. Upon entering, this establishment was busy. They had a party of 9 to set up while setting a party of 25 at the same time! Lucky for me, I'm a party of 1. Kudos to the staff as you all showed professionalism, patience, and excellent teamwork. For starters, of course, I had to order a cup of the French Onion Soup. Not salty, but very flavorful. As always, this soup never disappoints. Next, the New York Strip Steak (medium)with a Baked Sweet Potato. This steak does not need any additional flavoring ( just a tap of A1, of course). The baked potato is delicious with the butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar on it. I have admit, one time, it was so good, I even ate the potato skin. Finally, dessert time (although my stomach is speaking her own language now, grrrgg gfrum blummp). It's the Ice Cream Sundae, for me, as it does not contain nuts. This is my go-to dessert for real. I'm a little salty coming out of LongHorn in Hamilton. This usually reliable mid-tier steak chain seems to have gone all in on the most mundane of all spices --- salt. While I expect their "cowboy rub" to have a distinct peppery tang, my NY Strip apparently seemed destined for a 17th century sea voyage when brining was king. The service was solid and the sides were ample so, I'm going to chalk it up to an overzealous cook or a simple mistake. Thank God for the four tankards of fabulous Iced Tea (a Darden specialty.) I went to Longhorn Steakhouse last Thursday. We were told that the wait was 1/2 hour. Only ended up being about 15 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to appreciate us being there. I've been here a couple of times with my wife, and it's a decent experience. The restaurant is quite large but it's been pretty empty whenever we've gone (probably because we eat lunch a little earlier than most people, or maybe dinner time is much busier than lunch - not sure). Each time we've been, our server has been polite but way too absent given the lack of people in the restaurant, so that got a little frustrating. The prices are extremely reasonable! Both times I've gotten the Chop Steak and it wasn't bad at all, although the broccoli I got on the side could have been cooked a little longer. The shrimp and lobster chowder was OK but I definitely couldn't taste the lobster in it. We'll probably be back because the menu is affordable and it's a pretty decent sit-down experience, but I wish the servers were a little more present. read more

This is my first time I recall visiting a longhorn. It was a table of four with one child. The atmosphere was dark brown tone, and it was nice. Very busy. The $5 jack and Coke is a great deal. Our appetizer was the white cheddar mushroom. This was really good. 6 come on the plate and I was very happy with the start. This is where everything started to turn. We received our entrées before our salads, and they tried to leave it at the table. My fear was this was not gonna be redone, and we were going to be served the same items. We just got done with our salad with our main meal again came back out. I had the ribeye with brussels sprouts with honey. I think the brussels sprouts are the best side dish I may ever had with a steak. Comparing the steak to Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn has a stronger peppercorn taste to it. The steak was perfect temperature and tasted great. One person at my table steak was not cooked correctly. So it needed to be redone and it took sometime. The overall experience was positive on the food, but not so much on the service. I never saw a manager apologize about the mistakes compared to Texas roadhouse where I always see a manager every time. I see myself ordering the food to go rather than staying inside. read more

We order to go at the Germantown, MD location. The food was good before and now I dare say it is great. Pickup service is really nice. I have felt over the years that this is one of the most underrated restaurants around. Mom orders the ribs or red rock shrimp. I order the chicken tenders platter as no one does them better. We're not eating there for our health, so we favor the absolutely delicious, mashed potatoes and French fries. However, Mom sometimes gets the market salad with bleu cheese. The chocolate cake a la mode is awesome, but we only get it on my birthday as it is a caloric nightmare- but so worth it. read more

Came in for a Friday Night dinner with friends around 7 or so. We were told there would be about a 20 minute wait, which isn't too bad for a Friday night. We waited just about that time, and we were seated by a pleasant host. Our waiter introduced himself shortly, and he was very friendly and accommodating. We all placed our orders in about 10 minutes. Within about 20 minutes of placing, our orders came out. We were served the Signature Longhorn honey wheat bread while we waited. I ordered an 8 oz, medium rare 'Renegade Sirloin' with a side of a sweet potato baked, and I asked for the cinnamon sugar butter to be put on the side. The waiter did this easily, which I appreciated. I also ordered a side of the 'Cauliflower Au Gratin.' All of my food was extremely tasty, and I felt that the quality was very good. The Cauliflower Au Gratin is seasonal, and I found it to be very tasty. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection, and my steak was juicy and tender. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this location. This was my second time going, and I felt that the service and food quality was better than the first time I had gone. The staff was receptive and warm with their greetings. My waitress was friendly and quick with service. They had a limited, but ok selection of beer. My ribeye was good cut and was cooked to my request. There are better steakhouses, which have prime cuts, but so goes the price. Imagine driving over an hour to work, sitting through back to back meetings, hungry and ready to start your weekend. This was me heading to LongHorn in Hamilton. Never again Never again. I visited this location today as a recommendation from a coworker. The experience that I had started off very good and ended very bad. Without making this complaint any longer than it needs to be I won't provide the dialog as this was shared with the Manager before I left. I sat at the bar for drinks and food. Spent time talking to my friend who I came with and chatting it up with other patrons at the bar.When it came time to order our food I explained to my server that I do not eat meat (I am a pescetarian) and simply wanted to find out if the sides that I ordered with my shrimp dish were cooked in any animal broth or lard. After explaining to the server why I was inquiring about how the food was cooked, I was passed off to another server who did not even introduce herself and proceeded to be rude to me throughout the rest of my time there. She seemed agitated about my food restrictions and more concerned about how I got my information (some foods being cooked in animal broth) and where I got my information from than giving me the proper customer service that I deserved. I did speak to the manager Ted who apologized and offered to take the food off my tab. I wanted to pay for the drinks we ordered and whatever food my friend ate even though Ted offered. I didn't even eat the meal I ordered because i was so upset by the experience that i was having. I literally had one beer and a few bites of my salad before i couldnt take the bad energy that this server had. I feel that since I had an unpleasant experience with the secondary server she should have not been able to come back over to address me after I expressed my disappointment to her Manager. This was not the case. The server came over being very smug and having a mocking attitude. This upset me even more and I begin to raise my voice and ask her why was she still being rude to me even as I was trying get my bill and leave the establishment. I feel that in the future if a customer has an issue with an employee, that employee should not be able to continue to serve or talk to the customer. This ensures that the situation stays desecrated, other patrons are not affected by the altercation and their dining experience isn't disturbed. I left there very upset not just because of the lack of decent customer service but also because the time spent with my friend was abruptly cut short. This is not the type of memory I wanted to make nor for us to be able to recall. read more

First of all, they do not take reservations, so most likely you will wait, especially on weekends. I liked the interior, which has a very nice country style vibe, with paintings of cowboys on the walls. The Mac and cheese were good enough, creamy and cheesy. They have the ok quality of the meat, but the cut is too thin, and the signature sauce does not complement the meat at all. If you ask to cook it without it, they gonna bring a piece of meat without salt or pepper, which is so weird. I would have to choose a different place to go if I would have a better choice. read more
