Just had supper there. The setting was the typical MissionBBQ tables and chairs. We got the brisket, baked beans, Mac and cheese along with the cornbread. Everything was fabulous. Just after getting our meal, the manager provided a complimentary fries and they were incredible. I'm never disappointed with Mission BBQ but this one went over the top with the complimentary fries. BBQ is pretty decent and the restaurant is very clean. However, I feel like the price point is high for the value. The kids meal advertised "Jr. Ribs" which ended up just being two individual ribs and a small side. This was my first time ever eating at a mission bbq & I was very impressed! Normally I would always get pulled pork at a bbq restaurant but they gave us a sample of the beef brisket & that was all I needed to decide to get the beef brisket. I got mine with the Mac & cheese & my mom had hers with the hand cut fries. Everything is made fresh everyday...never frozen or microwaved. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free except for the rolls. The brisket is so tender that you can cut it with a fork! The Mac & cheese is deliciously made with 5 cheeses! The fries are hand cut from potatoes & then hand rinsed 9 times for freshness & cleanliness! Everything here is outstanding! They are huge supporters of veterans, all branches of the military, police, firefighters, EMS & all first responders! We had the nicest conversation with the community ambassador Dani Hon! She is wonderfully sweet & kind & a perfect representation of mission bbq! They couldn't have chosen a better ambassador! Love the inside decor. No host. You order, pay, get your refreshment, and any condiments you may need and find a place to sit. They bring you your food. The food was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich meal. My spouse had the sliced brisket meal. Someone comes and clears the plates for you. Everyone very friendly. Sorry Folks, I can't give this one any more than 3 Stars. And 1 of those stars comes from their corporate support for Veterans and First Responders ("Thank you for your service"). It's fairly ordinary as it is the usual "step up to the counter, place your order and have a seat in the dining room". The food was equally as mundane. The brisket was flavorful and the portion large, as was the pulled pork. However, the restaurant just doesn't live up to the hype. And the prices are higher than a few of the neighboring BBQ joints. A fantastic representation of the franchise. As always the food was excellent and we had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken for our meats. I think the brisket is the strongest offering. For our sides we got the green beans, slaw, fries, and baked beans. The green beans have a bit of heat which might turn off some patrons, but I really love them and they have generous amounts of bacon that really impacts the flavor. We finished with carrot cake and all the food was fresh, tasty, and a generous portion. The service was great and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. read more

The Cole slaw was good once I stirred it (must've been sitting long enough the sauce was at the bottom). My husband ordered the pulled pork and that's all he got--had to go back and ask for a roll, which they gladly brought. The smoked turkey was flavorful, but I thought it was sliced too thick for a sandwich. Found it interesting that this pro-veteran restaurant doesn't give military discount. We went here with a few neighbors last week and had a mixture of food items across the table. The lean brisket was good, I have hd better, inasmuch as this was a bit dry. The pulled chicken was a good size for an entree with a mix of white and dark meat. The French fries were good, but not spectacular the creek beans were heated canned beans, skip these. Confession time - this is the second time I have been here - IN ONE WEEK! We discovered it Wednesday. We were so taken with it, we're back today with friends and it was everything we thought it was and it was so good, I forgot to take pics again. I can recommend without reservation the MOIST brisket as that is what I had each time. If a little fat scares you, ask for LEAN. This is by far the best brisket we have had East of TX. They have every style of bbq sauce from the vinegary, to sweet, to tangy, to spicy and everything in between. My wife and I ate lunch here today an we've found our go-to place for brisket. The (moist) brisket was the best we've had since Austin, TX; just melts in your mouth! Since it was our first visit, the service lady, Jeanie, brought us a small sample of each of the sides as well as the bread pudding dessert. All the sides (cheese n' potato, Mac n' cheese, baked beans, creamed corn, green beans, collard greens, and coleslaw) were very flavorful. I especially liked the little spicy kick in the collards. The bread pudding was melt in your mouth with a sprinkle of crunchy crumbs for texture. The name and decor of the eatery reflects its support of first responders and servicemen/women. We do not have them in Georgia area or at least I have never seen or been to one until Florida. I really wanted to go in and great the GM personally but Family kept me a bit too busy to go back. I freaking love BBQ and My parents were proud Military who have retired since then. The Food Was amazing I had a pulled pork sandwich and fries and their sauces omg... Came you with my extended family (12 of us). Plenty of room for us all to sit together. The food was amazing. The ribs and brisket were killer IMO. I got some fries as a side and they were great as well. My grandfather liked the extra attention when they thanked him for his service as a veteran and gave him a free treat. I've been to this particular location twice and have had the brisket twice. Had the ribs (baby back) tonight and they looked boiled and had no bark at all. The reason for the four star is that the brisket is amazing. I'm a Texas brisket connoisseur and the brisket that I've been served both trips here has been off the charts goooood! Ordered the Baby Back 10 bone ribs. Was so salty I changed out for the spare ribs. Was much better. Manager said they use Old Bay seasoning. Well I've eaten my fair share of smoked baby back ribs. If you are a patriot, this is the best restaurant to support. Great BBQ beef, chicken or pork. Nice sides as well. Today I joined four veterans for lunch. One is 95 year old WWII veteran. They wouldn't take his money! Amazing way to say thank you for serving. After singing the National Anthem, they announced my veteran was there and everyone clapped. He teared up at the honor. Staff and patrons came up during our visit to greet and thank him. If you visit ask for the special cup for your beverage, you cay a little more, but every month they select a non profit veteran organization and they donate $1.00 per beverage to the non profit. This month it's Honor Flight. There is special parking for veterans, and the decor is all about service. Including Forst responders. Did I mention they hire veterans!
