I got the Chicken Salad melt with the Cranberry Kelli and there was maybe one scoop with one piece of cranberry for the entire sandwich. We went there for the first time to try it. We like chicken salad, but this was tasteless, dry and just plain bland. It lacked salt and was sooo dry and lacking mayonnaise. Plus the chicken salad only covered maybe 2/3rds of the croissant so lots of bites were meatless! Came here for an early dinner (light food) and ordered the trio scoops meal with crackers to eat on the outside area of the sidewalk. Our server delivered the basket of food with a side pickle and cookie added in and three generous scoops of their many choices of various chicken salad. Absolutely no complaints about the food taste or quality plus amazing service! What makes it so extra (in a good way) is the little cookie and pickle they give you on the side. We could not believe a staff member (old lady) at Chicken Salad Chick was trying to steal customers from Darrell's Diner. We were eating outside on the patio area at Darrell's Diner, our favorite place - when the old lady from Chicken Salad Chick came over to us and handed us samples of their chicken salad. We were shocked, but fortunately the waitress told the old lady she couldn't do that - and the old lady argued that Darrell's Diner didn't have chicken salad, which is false! Darrell's Diner does have chicken salad and their chicken salad is so much better and cheaper than Chicken Salad Chick. Regardless, Chicken Salad Chick has no respect for other restaurants and blatantly tried to steal customers. We tried the fruity chicken salad with grapes and nuts, the bbq chicken salad-very creative and good, plus the egg salad-creamy and tasty. Cane with wheat crackers and a dill pickle. They also give you a sugar cookie with icing. Thought I wouldn't like it but it was pretty good! They do taste testing outside the restaurant every day! Every time I've been to this restaurant it's been busy. They seem to handle the business well. Delicious products, so fresh and I do love their grape salad...(red & white seedless grapes covered in a sweet cream cheese mixture, topped with brown sugar & crushed pecans). It's worth trying.
