To start this Texas roadhouse will answer the phone and not leave you on hold forever like the other Texas roadhouse in Ocala. I was on hold for 35min and no one ever came back and I'm not happy about that. The Lady lake Texas roadhouse is the place to go. Not only great food and awesome atmosphere but EXCELLENT service. Our server Amy, I can't say enough of how AMAZONG she was. Attentive, smart, knew the menu, sweet to my kids and made sure we had everything we could even need or want. She was like clock work, the minute you even think you may need a refill or condiment, she was there. I recommend this location to anyone that wants a great time and have service like if you are a friends house for a great time. Our food was top notch and didn't even need any sauce. We added ourselves to the waitlist online prior to arriving and was able to get right in. Good thing as it was packed on a Friday night! The hostess that seated us was very welcoming and our server the same as well as very attentive. I had the 8oz Filet with Sweet Potato and Fresh vegetables. The filet was cooked perfectly, tender and perfect flavor. The sweet potato was not as great but not horrible with the cinnamon butter! My son ordered the Ribeye, sweet potato and rice. He enjoyed everything except the rice (and he LOVES rice). I don't think I need to mention that the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter were exceptionally delicious....thats a given. Overall my experience here was middling at best. First off, this place is absolutely massive with plenty of seating, but be warned it is freezing inside. Bring a jacket, seriously! Our server was super quick and efficient, which was definitely a highlight of the visit. This was my first time trying their famous rolls and honestly I do not get the hype. They tasted and looked a bit underbaked and the cinnamon butter did not do anything to save them. The house salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp. Probably the best part of the meal, which says a lot. We also got the Onion Blossom which sounded great in theory but came out soggy and underwhelming. First time at Texas Roadhouse and warned to not fill up on the rolls-- or I wouldn't be hungry for the dinner I ordered. They weren't kidding! They sat us with a fresh basket of rolls with cinnamon butter, and a bag of peanuts. Once the first basket was gone... it just kept on coming. Delicious rolls but be warned! For the main, I had to go with a classic hand cut steak. Super tender, cooked perfectly to what I had asked for, and seasoned so well that I didn't want to ruin it by adding a steak sauce. The baked potato was incredible-- the best I've had. Super soft and creamy like interior with a salted exterior skin. The house salad was decent but I don't like hard boiled eggs on my salads, so I ended up scooping those off. All around a good meal! Service was a little slow (took about 45 minutes to get our meals); even the cactus blossom took 25 minutes to come out because there was a mishap and miscommunication about which table it should have gone to, and I had to remind our server that we had ordered one. David was our server & he was very good I ordered the onion blossom and it was good. It was very hot and not greasy at all. I had a coupon because of a 2 year anniversary with TR. I had the smothered chicken with cream gravy and mashed potatoes. It came with cheese instead of gravy (kitchen error) and the potatoes were barely barely warm. My husband had the salad with grilled chicken which was good The problem I have with TR is that they are not consistent. We go and have a good meal & the next time it's not good. I say we won't go back then a loyalty coupon comes & we try it again........consistency is needed. The family bathroom floor was soaked and I mean SOAKED with water. Wetness on tile is not good - fall hazard!! It's a small room washed with a terribly wet mop & left to dry with the door shut and no ventilation! The women's bathroom floor was also wet but not as bad. Again fall hazard plus I really don't want my pant legs laying on a nasty wet floor. We did mention it to the manager who listened and was very polite. They need to wet mop, then dry mop or put small cans out to dry the floors before someone falls, hurts themselves and sues! Saturday evening and yes, this restaurant was super busy! We added our name to the online waitlist. When we arrived we checked in and was seated within 5 minutes! Everything was perfect from the huge onion blossom to the 2 hand picked steaks. There was a manager present assuring everyone was properly being taken care of. After a long day on the road, my wife and I were hungry and we're glad that we stopped here. We were seated promptly and the service was fast and friendly. Then food was very good and reasonably priced. The decor was a mixture of the old west and NASCAR. They don't have a really large selection of draft beers, but the ones they do have, is ice cold. It was a good deal at 15 bucks for a good portion of chicken, and two sides. The green beans have real bacon bits in them, and it was a good salad as well. Service ( Evan I think ) was excellent. Went to have a relaxed supper experience. The second we seated our waiter wants to know what drinks we want. They have 2 different drink menus on the table. So we just had sodas, their lost revenue. Next he wants us to order. We hadn't even looked at the menu and were enjoying their peanut. We order steaks with salad and baked potato. The salad came and no sooner than I put my fork in here come our entrees. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the runner.she offers to put them under the heat lamp while we finish the salad. Her reasoning was that since it wasn't busy the kitchen is turning things out fast. A manager Matt comes over and I told him what happened. He expressed his apologies but offered no recourse. I told him that doesn't rectify the situation. He asks how over and over so I asked him what he thought he should do and he says I did, I apologized. Which didn't rectify the problem. I told him "you're a manager and you don't know what to do?" He says don't be disrespectful to which I said I'm not and don't insult me just because you don't like my answers. I told him i want a new steak cooked to give time to enjoy my salad. He took it away and brought me what I think was the same steak after I finished my salad. Their incompetence ruined what we hoped would be a relaxing dinner and a manager not doing what he knew or if he didn't know to do shouldn't be in that position. It was very busy the evening I went with a party of 4. The biggest complaint I had was they do not have tables at all. This was very difficult seating for a very large person or a person with a wheelchair . They should post that on their site. We would have chosen another restaurant. My favorite for steaks and the scrumptious pork chops. The buttered rolls are habit forming and my group ate 3 baskets of those. My wife won't order steak out unless it is a Texas Roadhouse. I had to wait about five minutes to be seated and everyone everyone was so nice. They sat me down with a basket of rolls with some delicious cinnamon butter. Let me tell you they fresh bake these and they are fabulous . Hard not to fill up on the rolls before you get your meal. I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye with baked potato and mac & cheese. Visited Texas Roadhouse on April 16th for my birthday. I ordered a medium rare 14oz Fort Worth ribeye. The steak came out medium and was very thin The fat was not trimmed so it was all black and curled up around the steak. I told the waitress about it and she said if it makes me feel better a lot of people complained about their steaks. We were shorted a salad and rolls and some sauce for one of our steaks. They were "out" of Long Island ice teas?? I drove over there on Veterans Day to pick up a coupon that was good for a free meal. I was going to eat at that time but they don't open till 2 o'clock. A few days later I went there about 2:30 PM. That was my first time at a Texas roadhouse. They take you to a table with a bowl full of rolls and butter. The menus are on the table and the server I had was excellent. Got my drink order as soon as I sat down and I got a chance to look through the menu. The voucher had a limited number of dinners I could order, but all of them looked pretty good. I ordered a steak, medium rare with a side salad and a baked potato with sour cream and butter. They brought my salad right away and by the time I was finished with that, my steak and potato arrived. It was cooked exactly how I wanted, and the baked potato was great. Also, while I was there, there was a flyer on the table for a $100 gift card and it came with a $15 bonus. The food and the service were so good I knew I would coming back, so I purchased the gift card. About a week later, I went back a second time, and this time had their pork chop dinner with a salad and baked potato. Service and food were great once again. read more

Yesterday, I took a group of 12 to Texas Roadhouse for an early dinner. My wife and I ordered the 6 oz sirloin off the early menu ($12.99). Although ordered medium, the steaks were closer to medium well for at least five of us. Not the end of the world, but when my bill arrived, I was overcharged $14.22 including tax (45% more than the bill should have been). When I complained to our waitress, she said she heard 6 oz filet instead of 6 oz sirloin and charged us accordingly. Needless to say, Texas Roadhouse is no longer on our weekly group list. read more

We've been here several times but this time was a complete train wreck. Steak ordered medium well came to us rare. Was told the loaded sweet potato was coming. Never appeared and neither did our server after our dinner came. My husband sought out the manager and told her about his steak and lack of sweet potato. Waitress was great ( sorry forgot her name) and got our drinks quickly but only 2 things we weren't crazy about: (1) my husband's filet was well done (ordered it medium) and was the smallest and skinniest 6 ounce filet we'd ever seen! My 6ounce sirloin was twice the size and cooked great! So I shared mine with him cause he only had a 5 bite steak! and (2) would the servers please clear off the dirty dishes when they stop by? Several other patrons were seated and their food was served, this was well after our order was taken. Talked to the male manager (blue shirt/black pants) who made it pretty oblivious he didn't really want to hear or care about how long it took for our food. He stated that he didn't think there was a problem with how long we waited or his kitchen. I reassured him that our waitress was wonderful & other patrons who came in after us already had gotten their food. He didn't care. My wife and I went for dinner on her 77 birthday and we told the lady at the entrance and the waiter of her special day. We sat down and the fan right above did not help with the freezing temperature in the room! As we entered a celebration for a customer was going on right next to us. Lots of elderly people like us were uncomfortable and with sweaters! Now the food: The Bone in Ribeye we wanted did not exist! Had to settle for Porterhouse! The side of mash potatoes and green beans were cold! The extra plate they gave us for her steak was dirty. The waiter hardly ever came by to check on us. No recognition of my wife's birthday! I have always enjoyed Texas Roadhouse, but after my recent experiences at this location, I will not be returning. I visited twice in one week and had the same issues both times--poor food quality, mismanagement, and a complete lack of accountability. I ordered a well-done steak, yet it was served medium rare three times. The manager on duty was extremely dismissive, even making a sarcastic remark asking, "Are we frustrated?" after the repeated mistakes. Yes, I was frustrated--this was my second visit in a week with cold food and improperly cooked steak. The kitchen manager refused to even come speak to me, and instead, the issue was blamed on "training problems." What's worse is that this is an ongoing problem, as several staff members openly expressed their frustration, saying it has been affecting their tips. I was also informed that one of the cooks has personal ties to upper management, and despite multiple complaints about their cooking, no action has been taken due to favoritism. I attempted to escalate my concerns to upper management, calling multiple times, but no one was ever available. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. Poor food quality, rude management, and a complete lack of customer care. If this is how they run the kitchen, I can't imagine what else is being neglected. Avoid this location. read more
