First time here today and very pleased with the service! Assuming that car wash would open early so I just went there without checking I got there 10 minutes before they opened but Aldero let me in without any hesitation. He did very good job on my car and a gentleman inside (not sure if he's the owner or not) was very nice too. Mission Car Wash brings back memories from 12 years ago when I used to take my Mustang GT there every Saturday. Back then the place was nonstop.. great service, good prices, cars moving in and out. They closed for a while and recently reopened, so I went back for the first time in years. I didn't get that same vibe this time around. The wash and dry were solid. The gentleman who worked on my car took his time and made sure everything was covered, and I was honestly impressed with his attention to detail. The front desk staff were friendly too. But the vacuuming felt off. They were using shop vacs and carpets were not thoroughly clean, especially for the price. Took more than an hour and there were only 4 cars drying and 1 at the vacuum station. I got the Super Wash $50+ and they charge an extra $3 for suv and trucks. Maybe I came at a slower time or short staffed, so I'm willing to give it another try. read more

Went in today Sept 14 2025 10 minutes before closing and was very impressed with the high level of service and care given to my car. My car was in desperate need of some cleaning. I would get in and think 'this needs some scrubbing with some war soapy water.' Fresh it was no more and I did all I could - probably just smearing dirt in circles. They have high power extraction for interiors and specific cleaning products for specific problems. I was very impressed with the results - it was all clean rather than just covered up with a spritz of air freshener. Interior work was incredible. It became a place I wanted to be again. Exterior was equally impressive. The paint on my car looked showroom new again. Wheels and tires and everything just perfectly shiny. I've got the Quick Quack subscription - but I haven't been all month and when you go there you have to do all the work yourself anyway. Drying, interior cleaning - most of the man power is done by yourself... Its on auto pay with a credit card - but its gotten so bad with long lines I might just rethink all that. Wanted to try a different spot for a car wash. Since this was right next to AAA, I wanted to give it a try. I'm very glad I tried this place out because my car turned out spotless. They are in the higher price range but the results shows for it. I got their lowest package which I think was $40 but they also charged me extra for having an SUV. Anyways, don't expect to go in and out of this place quickly since that is not the service they offer. I would say give yourself 30 to 60 minutes, depending on which package you choose. But I can definitely say, the work was good and they take their time to really wipe down your car. They make sure there are no wet spots and are very detailed. For local residents like myself, this really was the go-to car wash in the Hayward area if you wanted a hand wash (mostly-"touchless") option where there's nothing slapping your car's paint and dragging debris all over its surface. And after almost 2+ years of closure, it's back and under new ownership! Prices are higher than they were under previous ownership a few years ago, but what HASN'T gotten more expensive these past few years anyway? And it's pretty comparable to other full service hand wash / touchless car washes elsewhere in the area. I opted for the Deluxe Wash, which appears to be everything in their entry level Full Service Wash package plus some extra sealant product sprayed by the machine. When the wash was complete, they used compressed air to blow away excess water, then hand dried the exterior and door jams. And they did spray and wipe the interior dash and trim and all windows, which I've discovered is NOT always included at some washes, so it was nice that the interior wipe was included rather than at extra cost. I'm also happy to see some Meguair's products in use. If you've ever detailed your own car, you have at least heard of Meguiar's or used their products. And while some will debate their marketing claims or the quality of their products vs others, at the end of the day their products will generally do what they're marketed to do. It was very quiet and not busy at all on a summer Monday early afternoon, but I suspect that has a lot to do with people not even knowing it's open again. Time will tell if they can bring back the volume of business they used to have, but I'm rooting for them! read more

Glad they are back in service. I use only car washes that use their own hands to clean my vehicle not those brush things and once they left it was difficult to find one that don't use those spinning brushes to clean ur car. Pice is decent and they got a stamp now so u get free carwash once u hit like 10. I do want to try their full detail and see if it's worth the money but so far only got standard car washes and definitely recommend and that's my go to spot. read more

Didn't clean my rims all the way as well as other areas of the car. Paid for the top-tier car wash.. didn't give me the new car sent from my car. Sadly, I don't think there's any good car washes out there remaining. However, I did give them a three because I do believe they did a better job than most of the other car washes that I've been to. I have my car washed by someone else because I don't wanna deal with cleaning the rims and cleaning the inside. It's the whole point of me taking it to a car wash. We have everything at home because my dad refuses to take his cars to a car wash due to the fact that they use dirty rags and scratch up your paint. I did leave a $10 tip. But I've told myself going forward if I have to tell them about my rims at all I'm not leaving anything. I did tell the gentleman about my rims. He wiped down one little spot and ignored all the rest. For the people who say it's a hard job I work a hard job too. I worked hard to get where I am, but you know what I do my job with ethics and values. In fact, I go above and beyond for my patients. I've had people who assume or act as if my job is easy and it was handed to me because I make good money. Those people are entitled and lazy.. again I did give them a three and all other places I've given a one. Some of the worst car washes are actually out in the more well to do areas. If you don't drive in with a luxury vehicle, they treat you like you less then. I drive a $50,000 SUV but again it's not a luxury SUV. I brought my Tacoma in for a basic wash. Really, all I wanted was a good vacuum and the windows cleaned... what I got was not worth the wait or attitude from the staff. My back interior window had visible smudge marks from a dirty rag or towel. There was dirty water left in my cup holder and dash storage. As the truck was finished, I thanked the guy who did final tire and window cleaning, handing him two $5 bills. He looks down at it and gave me the look of disbelief...not disappointment. I used to love coming here years ago. I would come all the time but now I think the workers have gotten lazy or something. They close at 5pm right now, due to daylight savings. I come when I get off work Friday at 430 make it there by 440pm. As you can see my car is not clean. For a mission special you get the inside and outside clean. I had no complaints really about the outside but come on the inside is not clean. There was also streak marks on my windshield that I couldn't capture on camera in the daylight. Also, this is the second time I left a mug or cup in my car and you guys throw it away. Not sure how the workers think my glass mugs and cups are trash. Been there several times and was impressed with the care provided to the look of my car. Employees took the time and attention I would if doing it myself. The value for the price is great! Today however it was even better and exceeded my expectations further. The man working on my car at the finish really put in a lot of care to details (they already do but he went above that). I spoke to him while completing my car and he pointed out some additional things that could be done which he did, and the car looked new! No kidding! I drove away sensing the car performed better - as if it appreciated the extra attention. This man is named Chris and he's the manager. He worked as hard as the others if not more. Moved to Hayward recently and need to wash my SUV. Bought the supreme wash, $38. Not bad. I have a forever-shedding white german shepherd husky so I need my car clean inside-out so I won't have that doggo smell. Very happy with their work. The two women-crew had the attention-to-detail. Washed, vacuumed, shampoo-ed the carpets, etc. all under an hour. While waiting, next door is a McDonald's and other way is Wendy's if anyone prefers to wait in an airconditioned room and have a bite to eat. I was honestly going to check out the nail salon nearby while waiting but unsure how long it was going to take for them to finish quality work.
