What a hidden gem!…read more Why didn't I find this place long time ago? 100% hand wash and they don't charge extra to clean your floor mats like other big spots. Price is cheap. I paid double at the other spots and it was not as clean as this place. When you arrive, be careful though, you might miss this spot since it's located behind a gas station with small sign. Once you get there, you pick your package. I believe no.1 is $29.99 and no.2 is $39.99 ( including waxing and floor mats cleaning and etc) $10 extra charge for SUVs. Then you take the paper and pay inside. There are chairs to sit in that area and you can see they wash your car. Take about 15-20 mins if they are not busy. Definitely come back and make it my regular now!

Have gone here multiple times and I'm used to one stall being out of commission. 4/8 I get here for a quick wash and two stalls out of commission with tape and out of service notes. Ok np I pull into a stall without tape over the coin machine. To add to the overall post apocalyptic feel of things there was an abandoned car with a smashed window taking up space in the vacuum stall. Park and head to the change machine. One machine is out of service. The other machine is no longer taking bills...ok I bring my own change most times. As I'm washing my car there is a line of people behind me and behind the next person in the working stall. Save yourself some time and go to the SLZ spot next to Arroyo.

I came here on accident because it had the same name as the other spot and I did not double check it on my maps before I was already nearby. Anyway, since I was already nearby - I decided to wash my car, especially since there was no lines/wait like the other spot. There were 4 wash stalls, but I do not remember how many vacuums that were here. It was about $3 to wash your car for a few minutes, which is a bit more expensive compared to the other self car wash spots I had been to in the area. As I pulled up, I remembered why I always drove past here and never washed my car here - it is because it looks a bit sketchy here at night, as most of the lights were broken/not working. Only 2 out of the 4 stalls were lit up, the 2 stalls with lights were flickering a bit (kind of like that episode of SpongeBob of the Hash-Slinging Slasher, lol). In all seriousness - it was a bit creepy, but I decided to stay and wash my car as quickly as possible. As I was washing my car, some big van just parked behind my stall by the back alley way, so I was ready to spray someone if I had to - at that moment, I was glad I backed into the stall and was facing the front entrance/street view, if a quick getaway is needed. The person in the van did not move or do anything, but sat there/waited/watched. I quickly finished and noticed he or she was leaving - I debated, if I wanted to vacuum my car, which I had a bad feeling about, so I decided to peek my head behind the stall to the side. Lo and behold, the van moved to and stayed parked in the hidden spot off to the side of the stalls. I literally jumped in my car and sped off, so always listen to your intuition - if things do not feel right/feel weird, trust yourself. Overall, I think this spot is an okay spot to clean/wash your car at in the daytime, just not at night because although it was a bit creepy here when it gets dark, I did like that their water spray gun was pretty strong.

The hoses reached both sides but I had to do the front end first then the back. Actually met and spoke with Daryl and he assisted me in pulling in and ensuring I was clear. Also the bays here are wider than most. Be sure to pull in to a bay with the new washer arm. They give you a little more room up top. It cost me $15 in quarters but my RV came out looking pretty good. Not a mobile RV hand wax (for around $400) but not bad!

I came across sunshine auto detailing and boy am amazed with their quality of work. The suv was old and dirty, and the paint was pretty faded too. The inside was dirty and had dog hair and a foul odor that was likely from the carpet. My sister decided to keep the car and drive it to the ground, so she wanted to at least make it look better and cleaner. Well, sunshine detailing transformed the interior and the exterior of her suv. They vacuumed and shampoo'd the carpet and floor mats, and wiped everything down to a nice clean shine. They've even cleaned all the crevices too. The car was left smelling real good. Oh, and the tires looked brand new! We couldn't be more pleased. All the workers there were so nice too. I highly recommend this shop to people in need of serious car detailing. You will be amazed.

I've been to MANY drive thru car washes and they always leave something dirty. Some I've been too can't even get off old muddy water. Not only is the drive thru part super strong and great but they also come out and get every little spot off and even towel dry after. It's the best $24.99 you'll spend on a car wash. I'm always super happy with the results.

Today while I was waiting in line, someone drove in REVERSE to get in where it was my turn next, how desperate and dramatic people be but nevertheless I still waited for my turn.. There was this man telling people stuff and so I asked him what he was saying and it happened to be the owner. He was there making sure things were running smooth. Guess I got unlucky, but he ended up giving me an extra token to try the triple foam, nice guy.. Don't hesitate to get the best car wash & water pressure in San Leandro.
