We had a weird spot of rain during the middle of a heat wave and my car was in desperate need of a car wash! Mission car wash is located on the corner of Mission and Broadway. There are different tiers of washes depending on what services you'd like to add on. I went for the regular silver wash, which was around $35. The wash was completely hand washed and hand dried, vacuumed, and wiped down. There's a shaded area with seating at the corner of the lot while waiting for the car wash to be completed. My car was shiny and the cleanest I have seen it in a long time. Everyone seemed to have the same idea as me that morning, but it was worth the 20 minute wait. They open at 8AM so early birds, come in through before the rush! I'll be back for future car washes! read more

No hand detailing anymore, high-volume mechanical wash for as much as they can charge. A race to the bottom, and many lives altered for the worse. $350 for a mid-size truck detail. Overpriced detailing. I got my vehicle detailed not too long ago and the detailer told me he has been doing it for 27 years. He promised no swirl marks. Not only did they overcharge me by $120 (a quote a year prior was that much less and was higher than my coworker who had a larger truck) but he missed spots on the hood, wax splashes all over inside trim pieces and seals, and he stripped the paint off the edge of the tailgate on one side. He did not use a new pad and there were swirl marks ALL OVER the vehicle. read more

I've always brought our cars to this place because they do such a fantastic job. My friends gave there youngest daughter there Prius wagon for her last year of college at Reno. I wanted to have the car cleaned inside and out. This place didn't disappoint. They asked to have the car for the day and it was cleaned and sparkled clean! The daughter was very happy. I highly recommend this location for your car wash and detailing needs. There is a waiting area inside with TV's or outside and there are (2) Mexican restaurants within walking distance if you get hungry. read more

Didn't check the car completely and just assumed interior carpets on the back seats were cleaned. Tipped the person $10 given i was there for over one and a half hour and assumed he really did a detailed job. Turns out I opened the back door and one side was not vacuumed. This was a couple of days later. Seemed he was "supervised" and he was on the clock! I don't believe this was an oversight but a one-off performance issue. Took my midsize SUV there to get washed. I had just gone on a road trip to the Bay with my dog that sheds, driving through heavy rain. so my car, exterior and interior were a mess. Been coming to this locations for years. Been bring my boss BMV and the detail of the wash is excellent I never have a problem with any of the workers. The prices are good to get more for your money it's better to paid a package. The only time you will have to wait is if you come during the late afternoon around 1 or 2 pm during a warm and sunny day. I don't understand all the negative reviews. For about 30 bucks you get a hand wash, vac and a worker who will spend lots of time drying and cleaning the other details if your car. I was so happy with the service I gave a 33% tip because the employee went way beyond what I expected at a place like this. BTW handwash means it still goes through a machine but its not like the coin operated ones you find at gas stations. Workers will still had wash your car after it is soaped down by machine. I found this place to be a great in between alternative to a big dollar clay bar and wax job and washing your car at home. read more

First time here and last. If you must go go early. I went at the end of the day and they must have been tired. I paid for package number two with an extra charge for my mats. They didn't clean the mats nor did they add the scent. My window was still diety and my mat was still sticky and dirty. And to be honest all of that is okay. Because it was 430pm and they're tired. What really got me was that they stoled my pin. The guy that vacuum my car must have been. I put my back pack in the trunk thinking I was getting it out of the way. I've been to this site several times over the span of a few years as I received a set of car wash vouchers. I had a pretty decent impression of the car washes in the beginning, but over time I feel like it's been less and less worth it. Price - the basic car wash including a manual cleaning was not bad at $20 a few years ago. Over time it has steadily increased up to $30 for a basic wash at the time of writing this. Yes, everything has gone up in price, but the wait time here and missed spots have stayed the same. It gets more and more difficult to justify. More on the other points below. Wait - Every time I have come here, the waiting time for the entire wash process is a minimum of 40 minutes. Most of this time is eaten up by the handwashing portion or waiting for them to get to it. I have usually come in the late afternoon from 3-4 PM so take that as you will. The wash - usually, the results are pretty good. Most of my car comes out looking fresh, but I have consistently noticed a missed spot or two pretty much every time. I try to let this go as I do see them working pretty diligently so it's not a matter of laziness. Recently, I noticed that they didn't touch the portion of the back where the trunk door seats on, leaving it caked with dirt. On my next car wash, the person taking wash orders in front assured me that they would take care of it. At the end of that car wash, guess what I saw - the trunk untouched. I asked the cleaner whether they clean that part or not. It was a yes or no question and even a no would be enough so I could set my expectations for next time. He just looked at me like I was a nuisance and did it unwillingly. Not the best interaction. It was kind of the last straw with the rising prices and long wait times that you have to endure. I don't see the prices getting lower or the wait getting shorter, so my recommendation is find another place or wash your car yourself. I'm speaking as someone who has gone here for years. read more

I got reminded why I shouldn't go there. Went n got the gold wash (40+- dollars) plus the tip to the worker (he busts his ass off) 20 dollars. I walked around to inspect the windows, it wasn't cleaned up. I asked him if he cleaned them, he said yeah and tried to do it again. I said that it's not looking good, but I'll leave it be. Then as I started the car, I noticed the dome light was on, he forgot to close the trunk/hatch so I went back out to properly close it (it's a 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid). I saw the rear window not cleaned properly as well. I spoke to his coworker and ask him if they can clean it for me, he said it's acid etched on and it can't be cleaned off. I got upset and told em this car is brand new and garaged. I was fed up, said forget it I'm done. At 60+- dollars to get a sub par car wash. Again, this reminded why I shouldn't go car washes anymore. read more

Got the car wash with the oil change. This make it a good value combo. I would not get a real car wash otherwise. To get to the entrance, need to approach the store from mission going west bound and pull in where the gas station is. They do a good job washing in the tunnel. Pretty cool seeing how the car get washed. Some spots in the front was missed (I would say it is kinda scary going in front of the car in the tunnel). I told the person outside wiping it off and he took care of it. The guy took a good long time drying and was real friendly. They also honored the 24 hour rain check. read more

$20 for a interior/exterior wash and clean + matts washed + tire dressing + freshener for the hatch back. I love this spot because they take their time, they don't rush your car out to get to the next. I've waited 30-40 mins on a non busy day and it's so worth it (I bring food to kill time or study material) I hop in my car it smells so food and it's squeaky clean. As for the outer wash it's always sparkling clean and I can't find any dirty spots. They offer more services like steam cleaning seats, wax, polish etc.. It was okay, but I appreciated the fish tank and the large gift shop. I have returned because I found out you could only do an outside wash! Wanted to try another car was and was told about this one. It did take awhile because of the line but hey no worries. Paid for the Aussie wax that was 45 and it had a lot of good added items to the wash. They were super backed up so I waited about 1 hour to have my car done. Once done, I had to ask the guy if he could put dressing on my tires. He said what did you pay for? I showed him my receipt and he said I'll do it for you. Once I got inside it looked like it wasn't even touched. I had to wipe down my dash and screen. My cup holders were still in the same condition that I had them when I got there. My car is pretty much brand new so it doesn't take much cleaning to get it done. The cashier was the best part of my experience as she was so polite and had the best service ever. I understand that staffing if an issue and patience is needed, but we need to also make sure we get what we pay for. I just got a bronze car wash today. I got there at 11:10am, and it took 20 minutes to get to the place where you tell them what type of car wash you want. Once you're in line, you're committed because other people are in back of you and you can't leave. It took another 30-40 min for the car too be "washed". It seemed like the people working were working hard, but attached are photos of my interior. I was in a rush to get to an appointment so thankfully they accommodated me, but my car does not look clean on the inside. In fact the floor looks like they forgot to vacuum the passenger side. I have been to so many hand wash places in Eagle Rock, El Sereno, East LA and Alhambra and can't really find an exceptional one. This place is busy but pretty well-staffed and only $13 for a sedan. They do a relatively good job here but I saw some dust/dirt in the corners of the window .They also put a little paper mat on the driver's seat. Pleasantly surprised this because not a lot of places around here do that. The only "con" is that they either didn't vacuum or they didn't do a good job vacuuming because my floor mats looked the same before my car wash. Luckily they weren't too gross to begin with. I used to come here all the time for car repairs and a car wash. I was never gouged once or felt taken advantage of. Today was a different story. 'Back in the day' (less than a year ago) I could bring my jeep or outback and get it cleaned for 20$ all day, everyday. And they did a great job. Today I asked for the hand wax on my Subaru Outback price is listed as 35$. I go to pay and all of a sudden it's 45$. She said your car isn't a 'small car'. The first time I took my car there, they did a pretty good job on the Gold package. The car felt newer after the wash. It took over an hour! It was probably over 1.5 hrs actually. The car sat in line for someone to clean part of the interior. They clean the crevices in the door. They vacuum the interior. The job isn't perfectly done but my car still looked better nonetheless. They forgot the air freshener. They don't clean the leather seats. I feel like they slowly wash the cars though. There is no hustle to get the cars done. It seems to me that they wipe the outside down but still miss areas. Second time I went, I brought my other car. This time the car didn't look as good as the other time. The windows were not as clean as the first time. The car still took over an hour. They missed a lot of areas with the vacuum. It kind of made me think the first time was a lucky fluke. It is easier to communicate with the staff if you can speak Spanish. Summary: If you have time to wait (over an hour easily) and don't care about money, come here for a pretty good wash (not perfect though). If you care about time, do the express wash but they don't clean the interior or wipe anything down. I would still kind of recommend this place. read more

I paid for the premium package which said 40 and above, but I got charged 51 because it's an suv and I still tipped him 10 too. They took an hour on it, only to give me a half ass service. It sucks that I paid extra for them to actually clean it and I still have to get home and clean it myself, the package says they shampoo the Mats and I doubt they did that. When the guy gave me back my car he said I took the stains off as much as possible and it had a big ass liquid stain on the step so I asked if that was unable to get off? And he's like let me try taking it off which he did, I shouldn't have to ask you to do your job, I payed for a service and expect to get it. read more
